Suho gripped the bottle of champagne is his hand tightly, although this sweaty hands weren't helping as he nervously knocked on the door
They were having a get together, but lately what used to be drunken nights and public had turned into a toy land with toddlers everywhere; and lets not mention Xiumin chasing after Youngdae and Baekhyun chasing after Dara
Who'd just learnt to walk- Luna was the oldest child followed by Dara then Youngdae, Luhan's child Mei was next although she was two years younger than Youngdae and Chen and Xiumin's second child Mindae was the maknae
So far of course.
Kris opened the door, Tao by his side
"Hey Suho, good to see you!"
"Hi Kris" He smiled warmly "you're looking well"
"Yes, Tao and I could never of been better"
Suho nodded as Kris led him into the living room talking about his and Tao's trip to rural China to see his village
Everyone's moving on, forward, beyond, bright futures ahead of them

Suho carefully stepped into the living room of Kris' house before being bombarded by hugs and questions
He realised how much he missed everyone- he'd only really seen Baekhyun recently
Hadn't seen anyone in months
And here we are again

He saw Luhan and Sehun's child Mei who was now around one year old now, she was gorgeous to say the least and even though she was related to Luhan- she looked a lot like Sehun
"So back to this again huh?" Jongdae joked as he fed Mindae her bottle
"Ha! At least you have a job now" Kris chuckled
"Yeah Youngdae can be a nightmare" Jongdae groaned
"Well... Toddlers" Kris stated
"We all know" Baekhyun sighed dramatically before flopping on to the couch
"Girls are better behaved"
"Youngdae is the only boy" Jongdae said shocked "right that's it, Kris, Jongin get boy babies okay?"
"Who says I'm getting a baby" Kyungsoo asked from the other side of the room with Suho and Lay
"I DO!" Jongin sang
"Change Mei's nappy first and then think about if you want a kid"
"Kyungsoo! I don't trust him changing my baby's nappy!" Luhan protested
"Kyungsoo- not Mei" Sehun pleaded
Kyungsoo rolled his eyes "protective parents- fine Youngdae then"
"Min shall we let Jongin change Youngdae's nappy?"
"Ah..... Okay?" Minseok said cautionly
"Good luck" Kris smirked
"So Kris- off to China?" Chanyeol asked putting Dara on his lap
"Yeah- Canton we spend three days in Beijing and four in Hong Kong though, couldn't resist"
"Lucky- so lucky"
"Yeah I'm excited"
"Tao?"
"I can't wait!"
"What have you been up to Tao?"
"Ah I teach Wushu now"
"But your degree was on science"
"Well... I will eventually get a job in the science industry"
"It doesn't matter what you do as long as you enjoy it my panda" Kris smiled
And indeed that is true

"So how've you been?" Lay asked Suho who sat opposite him with a pained smile on his face- it made his heart falter in sadness

"Oh you know the usual- works boring, life's... Boring"

"You? How's Victoria?" Suho didn't miss the grimace he gave nor the crack in his voice when he asked
What he also noticed was the way Lay's face fell
"Oh we're okay I guess"
"How's Luna?"
"Amazing actually, she looks kind of like you"
"Like me?"
"Yeah- funny isn't it"
"Oh I didn't realise"
"She's with Dara at the moment"
"I see"
"She has your mouth"
"She looks awfully like you though"
"Yeah- I can't find a single thing similar to Vic"
"How weird" Suho mused
"Hey, what're you doing this weekend?"
"Nothing in particular why?" He gazed out the window
"I was wondering"
"Oh okay" he replied slightly disappointed
"Do you want to come to Shanghai with me?"
He blinked twice "wait me? Why don't you want to go with your family?"
"Well I bringing Luna with me too, but Vic didn't want to come"
"Why're you going?"
"I have a meeting but I'm going to use the opportunity to have a holiday, and you're my best friend so it'll be fun"
"If I don't get off my face drunk"
"You won't" Lay smiled
"So where in China?"
"My meeting is over two days in Shanghai so... You'll have Luna for those two days and well then I was thinking we could stay there for two more nights then go to Hong Kong for a week- maybe more"
"I'm in"
You are an idiot- an idiot for loving someone? Love isn't wrong, he doesn't love me like that but I know he does, he loves me- just not in the way I want him to
