Lay slipped his hand to yours and intertwined fingers with you. You turned to him and gave him a smile, to be honest; you didn’t know what to feel. You knew you were nervous, but your feelings were numb. You lost Kris; he was like the source of your emotions.

Now that he was gone, nothing will ever be the same.

Lay saw how crestfallen your face was and he sighed. “____, wait” he turned to you and cupped your face, slightly tilted it up so he can see your whole face and then he smiled at you. “Can you please,” he leaned in and rested his forehead on yours and breathed slowly.

“Give me a chance, I can make you happy”

His voice sounded vulnerable, he looked so true to what he had just told you. “Baobei, please, give me a chance” he pulled away and your hair gently, his eyes lingered on yours and he leaned in, planted a soft peck on your head.

“I love you”

Your eyes widened and you gasped. Lay slipped his arms around your waist and pulled you against him. Your face was buried in his chest and you heard his heartbeat, thumping in a normal pace.

Lay snuggled in the crook of your neck and softly kissed your sensitive skin. You shivered underneath him, “Oppa – “

You wanted to push him away but you didn’t have the strength, it was not really a bad thing to let him hug you. But whenever Lay was with you, all you could think about was Kris.

But he was not here, you should stop thinking about him.

“Come, let’s go baobei” he smiled at you and pulled you to the entrance. He brought you to a 5 star hotel, he told you that his parents will be there and EXO too. “My mother will love you,” he grabbed the door knob and turned it, pushing the door forward and revealed you to the entire room.

The room was brownish in colour, fancy carpets, tables and chairs. It looked so grand that you wouldn’t dare to lay a finger on them.

“Yixing?”

Both of you looked up and met eyes with Luhan. His eyes rounded and he looked shock to see that you were here  with him. The other EXO members were as shock as he was. You wondered what actually they were thinking.

“What is she doing here?” Luhan hissed at Lay, but the guy just smirked. “She’s my date for tonight.”

Luhan stiffened and looked at you with a hard face. You stared at him confusingly, “What’s wrong?”

“____, please turn around, I’ll bring you home” he grabbed your arm and pulled you to the door but Lay was quick, he was already hugging you from behind with a smirk.

“I brought her here, accept it” Lay pushed Luhan away and pulled you next to him. You gave Luhan a worried face and he turned bright red in anger.

“Zhang Yi Xing, this is enough!”Luhan started running to him and all EXO members stood up, Sehun grabbed Luhan by the waist while Kai and Chanyeol held Luhan by his arms. “Luhan hyung, calm down” Sehun pleaded Luhan but the older boy ignored him.

“She’s not going to marry you Yixing, wake up!”

Your eyes widened and you turned to Lay in shock, “What is he talking about?”

Lay gave you a sigh and patted your head, “I’m just letting my parents meet you, it’s not a big deal.” But Luhan shouted from the side, he screamed at him actually. “Your parents stick with old traditions Yixing, if you introduced her to your parents, they will want her to marry you!”

“What?” Your eyes widened once again but Lay snapped at everyone. “I’m just letting my mom see her, can you all please just sit down?! I won't do anything, I promise. ”

Everyone stopped moving and Luhan gritted his teeth at Lay, “I hope you keep your promise.” he glared at Lay and forced you to sit next to him while Lay sat on your right, so you were basically sandwiched in between Luhan and Lay.

Luhan couldn’t stop shooting dead glares at Lay, if only looks can kill, you bet Lay would be dead by now.

You scanned the big table, there were 15 seats, and all 12 seats were EXO and you, while the other 3 chairs were empty. It made you curious, since Lay told you specifically that he introduced you to his parents, which made the two seats taken.

Lay’s parents had entered the room; they looked as stunning as Mrs. Wu. You blamed on their wealth, since rich people were always the one that had elegant auras glowing around them. Lay’s mother wore a black dress with long sleeves, paired up with big diamond necklace around her neck.
