When Lay told you that the date was a surprise, he did surprise you when you stepped out of the plane and gawked at all the big airplanes at the airport. Both you and Lay had landed on Los Angeles after 11 hours on the plane, and according to Zhang Yi Xing, both you and him will be taking the bus express to the ‘secret’ destination.

How did you get yourself into such place? Well, let’s rewind the little scene.

“Here”

Lay handed you a dark red cardigan when both of you arrived at the Airport. You glanced up at him with a look and then took the cardigan without saying any thank you. Instead, you asked him multiple questions. “Why are we here? Please don’t tell me you’re bringing me to somewhere far from Seoul? I don’t have a passport! “

You gawked at him once more when a tall butler that came out of nowhere with two luggage approached you. One of the luggages was tinted black while the other luggage was tinted with polka dots designs.

“No need to worry about the passport, already arranged that.” Lay smiled and looked away before you can ask any more questions. To tell you the truth, he broke few rules in order to make your passport. One of it he broke was privacy.

You frowned and crossed your arms, earning a worried look from Lay. The unicorn was expecting a question from you about your passport but you blurted out something else instead, “How about my mother?”

Lay relaxed a bit and smiled gently, he had arranged that too. “EXO will be there for your mother”

He had already arranged few things for your mother, which was ‘indirectly’ asking EXO for help. That excluded Luhan, Tao, Kai, D.O and Chanyeol though. Those bunches won’t keep secrets. And Luhan, that guy was on Kris’s side. So it was totally a bad idea if Lay told Luhan about the plan.

He only went to Xiumin and talk about the date, and Xiumin didn’t argue. He gave Lay a bit of advice for planning such things though, “Don’t overdo it, if duizhang loses his temper, you might get hurt”. He gave Lay a long look and then whispered, “Physically”.

Xiumin then continued that he will ask Tao and the others to visit your mother, but he won’t tell them about the ‘date’. “They will find out eventually when Kris told them what happen”, was all Xiumin said as he turned away from Lay.

Lay owed Xiumin a lot; he wanted to repay Xiumin by giving him some money. But Xiumin was the oldest in EXO for nothing, “No, I don’t need anything that involves with money”. He turned and gave out a sigh as his gaze met up with Lay’s, “Just don’t hurt Wu Fan, he’s innocent. And you know you’re making a wrong move. Stop all of this, that’s the repayment.”

“No”, Lay stubbornly said when Xiumin named his prize – letting you go so Kris will be happy – he looked away and clenched his fist. Xiumin stared at his brother and felt a pang in his heart, “Lay, you disappoints me.” He took a deep breath and turned his heels. Without saying anything to Lay, he walked out of the room and shut the door.

Lay snapped out of his thoughts when the screen above him noted that all the passengers can board up to the plane. He turned to you and slipped his hand to yours.

It shocked you when Lay laced his fingers with yours. He gave you a smile and said the sweetest thing, “I can’t let a pretty lady like you get lost right?”

You blushed and looked away. A lump caught inside your throat when you heard Lay chuckled. He moved closer to you and led you to the line, making your tinted red cheeks became noticeable. Skin ship was never your first option but you were timid to even say anything. All the way to the airplane, Lay didn’t loosen his grip. This made your head goes into a train that led you into Confuse Land. Lay being nice to you was quite obvious he was trying to express something.

But you couldn’t put a finger on it.

In the plane, Lay became sweeter than an apple. He covered you up
