Kris apologized for the umpteenth time that morning with his head hung low. Both of you were walking around the neighborhood with Mumyeong swaying her to left and right. Taking some fresh air outside would be much better than trapping inside grandpa’s house.

He refused to talk to Kris, or anyone to be exact. Grandma and your mother gave him space; they knew his personality very well. But that was grandpa we are talking about; he got a very bad temper.

Kris had decided to tag along, but of course he was matched up with a black cap and a black sunglass as his disguise. But for you, you thought it was ridiculous for him to disguise like this. Even though the cops didn’t give him second glace but the girls would spare him many glances.

Not that you were jealous – maybe a little – but he should put on a grandpa disguise. But this, he looked like a supermodel with his abnormal height. Not to mention his well build body, no girls could ever resist him.

“Baby wolf, I am sorry”

His voice appeared again and this time, his hand caught your wrist and held it firmly with a worry face. Did I mention you avoided him? Yes you did.

“Stop ignoring me, I can’t stand it” He pleaded and gave you the softest smile you had ever seen. You want to jump into his embrace but you hold yourself. “Kris, I forgave you few hours ago” you gave him a dramatic eye rolling action and yanked your wrist away.

Truth to be told, you were embarrassed to face Kris. He saw your body, and you saw his. Even though it was dark yesterday night, you saw the whole thing.

“Stop saying you’re sorry” you groaned and doubled up your pace to avoid the giant buffalo. But with his long legs, Kris caught up within a second. Damn him.

“Fine, I won’t apologize anymore so please –“he grabbed your wrist and spun you around, making you fall into his chest with a thud “– don’t ignore me” he breathed almost too ily.

You gave him a sigh and nodded, and then finally, Kris let your wrist go with a sweet smile plastered across his face. Or is it a y smile?

What on earth! You shouted inside your head and turned around to face the park you both had just arrived. Why is Kris so y after yesterday?! Your hand unconsciously hit your head, but before your own hand can reach your forehead, Kris grabbed your wrist and pulled it down.

You gazed at him chasing Mumyeong and couldn’t fight back your smile. Kris will be a great father; he took care of Mumyeong like his very own daughter. Call him pathetic for threating Mumyeong like his daughter, if you see Kris playing with puppies right now, your heart will melt and you would say Kris adorable.
