Summary: Jongdae is Baekhyun's date and Chanyeol's fine with that—or so he says.

"Why bother going to a stupid thing like prom?" Chanyeol rolls his eyes. He's annoyed that Baekhyun keeps showing him photos of himself in different colored tuxedos. "It's just a cash grab so idiots like you pay a lot of money to make dumb memories."

"Well, why do you care? You're not going!" Baekhyun frowns for second before smiling. "Are you jealous? It's okay if you are."

"I'm really ing not," Chanyeol growls, wanting to wipe that smug look off the brunet's face. "You keep shoving your business in my face. I don't care if your tie is pink, yellow, or blue. I don't care if you want to match Jongdae. Why don't you go plan your stupid date with him?"

"Because I want your opinion!"

"I don't care!"

Baekhyun frowns up at him. "I think you hate prom so much because you're just embarrassed!"

"Where the hell did you get that conclusion?"

"Because you can't dance--"

Chanyeol finds himself a bit offended by the assumption. He's not the best dancer but if he's terrible at it. "I don't want to go to prom and it's not because of the ing dancing. It's just stupid and you're stupid and it's for stupid people like you."

Huffing, Baekhyun crosses his arms... He looks kind of cute, but Chanyeol reminds himself that the he's really not. "Jongin and Sehun are going, too! You're the only who's not going to be there."

"They're stupid, too." Rolling his eyes, Chanyeol tries to leave the empty classroom Baekhyun had dragged him to, but he's stopped when the runt grabs his hand. "What?"

"I can teach you how to dance!"

"No, thanks." He reclaims his hand but Baekhyun's quick.

Stepping in front of him and blocking the door, the runt smiles. "I'll teach you how to dance here where no one's watching!"

"I said I didn't want to!"

"Stop being embarrassed!"

"I'm not!"

"Yes, you are!" Baekhyun puts both hands on Chanyeol's waist and gets closer than the giant feels comfortable with. "I'm here! I can help you!"

It was the last straw. Pushing the smaller male away, Chanyeol makes sure to move him away from the only exit in the room. "Just leave me alone, runt. I already have plans on prom night."

"Plans? What kind of plans?"

"I'm seeing someone."

Baekhyun frowns. "To hang out?"

"It's a ing date, you idiot."

Blinking, Baekhyun gapes at him for a few seconds. "A date? That's cheating!"

"What?"

"You're cheating on me!"

"We're not together!" Chanyeol curls his hands into fists. "And aren't you going to prom with BMW boy?"

"Jongdae's a good friend!"

"Sure—" Stopping, Chanyeol pulls away, realizing how heated he's gotten. " this. I'm leaving. I don't know why I'm even telling you about it."

He walks out the classroom but Baekhyun runs after him. What takes Chanyeol five strides takes Baekhyun five seconds to sprint.

"Can you stop being dumb and just tell me you like me?" Baekhyun yells. It echoes in the hallway but luckily they were they only ones there. "You're hurting my feelings!"

Ignoring him, Chanyeol keeps walking.

"Wow, really?"

Silence.

It takes a second for Chanyeol to realize that Baekhyun stopped running after him. It takes a moment before he notices that Baekhyun has stopped running after him.
