Chanyeol stops as he looks down at the gift bag in his hand. It's not too big, but it's not that small either.

For a moment he wonders if Baekhyun's going to like it— or maybe it's just a really ing lame gift and he shouldn't bother giving it to him.

Goddamn it.

Of course, the runt's going to like it... He loves everything the gangster does.

Chanyeol sighs and tries to shake the stupid feelings off. He hates self-doubt. More importantly, he really hates thinking about the surprise farewell party because it only means being reminded that Baekhyun's leaving...

But he tries to think positively.

The runt's leaving because he's ing smart, and he likes nerd like coding and science. He's lucky to even have the chance of attending that crazy ing university for smart nerds like him. Of all the things Baekhyun doesn't need, worrying about leaving behind a stupid, troublemaking boyfriend shouldn't be one of them.

Chanyeol clenches his jaw, but his attention is pulled away the second he feels his phone vibrate once... and then twice.

Taking his phone out of his pocket, he quickly scans the messages on the screen.

[ From: Babe ] Hey, I'm going to Jongdae's house for a while.

[ From: Babe ] I'll let you know when I get back!! <3

[ From: Yeollie <3 ] Okay, have fun. Let me know when you get home safe.

[ From: Babe ] Ok! Love you lots!!

[ From: Yeollie <3 ]  I love you, too. Talk to you later.

Slipping the phone into his back pocket, Chanyeol walks over to his desk and picks up his motor helmet and keys. He's already considered late.
