Summary: Chanyeol is the best boyfriend ever (2012).

They take the train to Namsan Park one evening, and manage to get to the lift around 6p.m before the line gets bigger. Before they get up to the top, Baekhyun buys one of the plastic heart locks.

He chooses a bright red color.

When they get to the top, the sun is about to set so Baekhyun pulls them to a little bench for a while so he can scribble something down.

"Park Chanyeol, best boyfriend ever, and Byun Baekhyun at Namsan Tower 04.28.2012"

Chanyeol looks over his shoulder. "Is that all?"

"No," Baekhyun says, flipping the plastic heart over.

"To: PCY... Wait for me, plssss <3"

Chanyeol scoffs... but he still doesn't know how he feels about it.

Of course, he'll wait, but...

He stops himself.

There's no exception.

He'll wait.

"Yeah?" Baekhyun asks, looking up at him. He holds up the lock, eyes asking for approval. "I think I'm ready."

"Why'd you write that?" Chanyeol asks, pointing at the back.

"Because I want you to wait for me. Duh." Baekhyun stands up. "Plus, once I lock it and throw away the key, then that means you're bound to it. It's the ultimate pinky swear."

"Pinky swears go both ways."

"Well, yeah! I know they do!" Laughing, Baekhyun turns around and starts leading the gangster over to the area filled with a handful of other people. "Come on. Let's find a place to put it."

Chanyeol scoffs... but he follows along willingly.

It's dark by the time he arrives at Kim Jongdae's house. By the looks of it, he's one of the last ones to arrive.

Kicking the stand of his motorcycle down, Chanyeol reaches over to pull the keys out of the ignition before unclamping the helmet off his head.

He stays for a few moments outside, noting how warm it was becoming.

Spring was turning  into summer.
