Summary: Junmyeon's a gangster and he's Baekhyun's date...ish.

"I can't really tell you how to have a long distance relationship, babe. I like to keep my nuts local."

"Mmm... But what if it's not local?"

"Then make it local!"

Baekhyun frowned. "What do you mean make it local?"

"Just fly out and make it local," Junmyeon said, taking another of his ice cream. "Take a private plane or something."

Slumping his shoulders, Baekhyun sets his ice cream cup down. "Myeonnie, I don't have a private plane!"

"Oh, right. Well... Can't you guys video chat? If you didn't break up with me, I'd fly out to see you whenever!"

Sighing, Baekhyun reaches over and pokes Junmyeon on the shoulder. "I'm being serious!" he says, pouting. "I'm leaving in, like, two weeks and I'm sad."

"How're you going to focus in college if you're stuck on some dumb boy? I mean, he's not even that good looking and--"

"Myeonnie!"

"I'm just saying," Junmyeon says, shrugging. "If you really don't want to go, you could just... not go. Why didn't you apply to a University here like every other kid?"

"Because my dad was offered a job in California and I thought, oh, that'd be fun!"

"And...?"

"And now, it's not fun and I'm sad!" Baekhyun sighs heavily... then takes a scoop of ice cream in his mouth. "Yeol says I should go. Jongdae says I should go. What do you think?"

"That you should go. Duh." Junmyeon scoffs. "I mean, you'll have summer vacations. You can fly back here or whatever— If you can."

"But I'll miss him."

"And he'll miss you, too, but he's still saying you should go... So if you stay, you'll make him feel like it's his fault." Disgusted, Junmyeon crosses his arms in front of him. "Ugh, anyways, babe. I feel like this should be something you need to talk to that loser about."

"We do, but it just makes us both sad and—"

"I get it. He's your 'first' boyfriend—even though that's highly debatable— so I know it's hard. You wanna stay with him forever and ever and get married— But here's the deal, babe," Junmyeon says, pausing. "It's not like that. You're going to miss him, and you're going to fight. Then, you'll break up and forget about him."

"That's not true—"

"The first time he made you cry, you came running to me."

"So?"

Junmyeon laughs. "You have a pretty bad track record of overreacting."

"Myeonnie!"

"I'm just saying," the latter mutters as he starts chewing on the waffle cone. 's starting to get all soggy. "Who's to say you guys won't fight over the phone and then you go off to make out with some frat jock who kinda looks like that idiot?"

Baekhyun frowns at him, upset and disgruntled. "Why does everything think I'm going to do that to him? You, Jongdae... Even Chanyeol. You guys say it like it's a good thing, like I'm finally gonna meet someone who's as smart as me, but... but I like him, and I like the gang. I like everything about him, but everyone makes me feel like I should just drop everything and leave because I deserve better when all I want is for this to work out and—"

"Okay, okay, okay!" Junmyeon quickly says the second he starts seeing Baekhyun's eyes get all watery. "It's not that deep, babe. You'll work out. I'm sorry, okay? I'm just a bitter nut. Had a bad relationship once, then decided the only thing I wasn't going to anymore are feelings, so take it from me— Don't listen."

"Who did it?" Baekhyun asks quietly. "Who made you into a bitter nut?"

Junmyeon looks at him, hesitating for a few seconds. But then he figures that if he shares something sad, maybe that'll make the latter... not sad. Whatever the logic is.

"Kim Minseok."

Baekhyun gasps. "Minseokkie?"

"Yeah. That annoying snob's always trying to sue me— Ha! We both know the reason why his daddy's a billionaire now. Oh, yeah. It's because he convinced his boyfriend at the time to sell part of his family business to their conglomerate group! And then what does he do after the merge?" Junmyeon slams his hand on the table, shaking it. "Dump him— like $400 million dollars in a bucket! More like Min-scammer! Or Min-Sue-Me!"

"Oh..."

"Yeah, so you're right. We're all just bitter so don't listen to us." Junmyeon starts repressing memories again. "If you think about it too much, you'll always be sad. Just go and do what you need to do, because Park will probably wait for you like the temporary boyfriend that he is, anyways."

Sighing, Baekhyun sets his head down on the table. "You think so?"

"Knowing him? Uh..." Junmyeon purses his lips together. "Yeah, definitely."

"You don't think he'll get back with Jinah while I'm gone?"

"Jinah!? She moved on a long time ago! Met some psychic to get her palm read and they ended up dating or something. I don't know. Seems sketch, though." Reaching over, Junmyeon pats the brunet on the head... Soft like a plush. "I think she's over her bad boy phase. She's into the supernatural now."

Baekhyun doesn't say anything for a while. Then he asks, "Like ghosts?"

"Like... Crystals and tarot cards. I think telekinesis, too—or was it telepathy? I forget."

"Not Chanyeol?"

"Is he psychic?"

"So..." Baekhyun lifts his head, looking straight into Junmyeon's eyes. "I guess I should just... go. And have fun... It'll work out. I mean, it has to."

"If anything... You can ask me nicely and maybe I'll fly you back to Korea on the weekends." Junmyeon winks. "I'll take some kisses on the cheek as payment."

"That's called cheating!"

"Uh, it's called 'thank-you'."

"That's not what Chanyeol says," Baekhyun argues. "Also, maybe you should start dating again, Myeonnie. I think you'll find someone who can give you kisses any time without asking them!"

"You think so?"

"Well, duh! You'll find someone new in no time."

[ From: Babe <3 ] Can you pick me up from Ice Creamery?

[ From: Yeol <3 ] I thought Junmyeon was supposed to drop you off at home?

[ From: Babe ] Changed my mind. Can I come over to your house?

[ From: Yeol <3 ] yeah I can

[ From: Yeol <3 ] did something happen?

[ From: Babe ] No. I just wanted to watch Hell's Kitchen for a while

[ From: Yeol <3 ] be honest

[ From: Yeol <3 ] I'm coming right now

[ From: Babe ] I'm being honest!!! I just wanna watch and cuddle... Maybe hold hands or make out :)!

[ From: Yeol <3 ] ok

[ From: Babe ] See you in a bit! Love you!!!

[ From: Yeol <3 ] I love you, too. Stay inside til I get there.

[ From: Babe ] okie!
