3rd Person’s POV

[Choi Entertainment…July 15, 20XX]

They were all gathered at one of the meeting room in the entertainment cause their first album was now finalized. They were going to record the remaining songs inside the album.

“Like I said before, there’s 11 song. 10 minus the title track. 4 of it are covers, 2 are duets, 3 b-side songs and one outro to close the album. We’re going to record all of it this week.”

“Is our debut date finalized too?” Erika asked and Mr. Choi nodded with a wide smile.

“You’re debuting in July 29, the exact one year that all of you became an official group.”

A wave of nostalgia hit the members again as they remembered what happened that day. It was a happy day for all of them and it would be once more, cause they’re debuting together.

“Alright.” Mr. Choi clapped his hand. “First side-b to record is 24/7 written by Park Jihyo and Im Nayeon from TWICE.” Erika’s eyes widened before she yelled a YES! in excitement.

She was also the first one to ran inside the booth to have the song recorded. Mr. Choi and the rest of the members could only shake their heads with a fond smile at how Erika acts.

All day I feel stifled, I’m dragged by them

Haha, hoho, the other laugher I don’t wanna hear it

I throw them away, throw them away

Empty my mind, empty it, just move on…

No matter how many times they’ll hear Erika rap, they would still be amaze at how she fits at the criteria. She finished recording immediately and let the other members finished.

“That was fast.” Erika chuckled. “Let’s move on to the next then, it’s Rendezvous 18.6y.”

Erika let the other members in first and Lei volunteered. She entered the booth and sang…

That’s fading among this noise, it became clearer

Maybe you’re thinking of me…

The members smiled proudly at how their maknae improved the past few months. She can now sing in a lot of style and Erika totally approved at how she made use of her deep voice.

“You guys are amazing, I think we’re finishing all demo just today. Last sidetrack, Would U.”

Anika entered the booth and adjusted the headphones before listening to the song and sang her parts as she sway to the beat of the music, completely immersed at the soft song.

My feelings are growing and I can’t it anymore

Come on, come on, come on…

As exepected of their main vocal, she would be able to convey the softness of the song cause she herself was a softie no matter how many times she deny it to the other members.

“We’ll record the outro first before the cover and the duet. It’s titled Rain in Spring Time.”

Jeril volunteered to enter first this time, but mostly because Erika pushed her inside the booth and she swears that someday she would really kill their leader in her sleep…someday.

You moistly rain down on the tips of my fingers,

And they were all shocked to hear the gangster Jeon Jeril Chase sing softly. She was singing like Anika, and Erika would tease that they were becoming each other if she wasn’t stunned.

“You’re improving, Jeon.” was all she could say and Jeril just squinted her eyes in suspicion.

They finished all sidetrack recordings and proceed to the covers. Anika was covering Park Jimin’s Lie while Jeril covers Serendipity. Erika was covering Kim Taehyung’s Singularity while Lei is covering Stigma. They finished a demo immediately and started to record the duet.

“Ked and Lei, you’re going to duet the song 4 o’clock.” he handed them the music sheet.

Since the booth was huge, the leader and the maknae entered together and started singing.

Following into the deep night, the sound of you singing brings the red morning

A step and another step, the dawn passes

And when that moons fall asleep, the blue shade that stayed with me disappears

Jeril may never ever admit it but Lei and Erika is the most suited people together in her opinion, their voices matches but their personalities are opposite making them perfect.

“Why are you smiling, Chase?” Anika asked with a knowing smile on her lips.

“The same reason that you’re smiling, dear Choi.” that got both of them to laugh.

After Erika and Lei, the other duo entered the booth. If Erika and Lei are the leader-maknae duo then Jeril and Anika is tha main dancer-main vocal one. They’re also perfect together.

You are the sun that rose again in my life, the second coming of my youthful dreams

I don’t know what this feelings is, whether this is all a dream

The dream is a green oasis in the desert, the ‘a priori’ deep inside of me

I’m so happy I can’t breathe, my surroundings become more transparent

I hear the faraway sea, across a dream, over a horizon

Going to that place becomes clearer

Take my hands now, you are the cause of my euphoria

Erika and Lei smiled proudly watching Anika and Jeril. If their deep voices complimented each other, then the other two’s voices blend in together like a puzzle piece being complete.

“One day, those two would realize how perfect they are together.”

“I’m sure they already realize it.” Erika said with a fond smile.

After Anika and Jeril, they were finally finished. They would come back for another recording tomorrow but the demo was already solid so Mr. Choi isn’t sure if they still needed backups.

“I’ll text you tomorrow to see if I need you back here again. But if not, then enjoy. It’s only a few days before you guys became official idols in South Korea. Don’t forget, July 29…”
