3rd Person’s POV

“And finally, the Rookie of the Year award goes to…” the MC opened up the in his hands and smiled. “Well, they really does deserve this award. It’s…the monster rookies, 4D!”

The four members had somehow already imagined this scenario a lot of times, and they did some practice on how they’ll react. But when it happens in real life, they couldn’t help but to burst in tears. Lei being the crybaby she is, cried first. Then, Anika followed and so did Jeril…

“Come on, guys. We still need to accept the trophy.” Erika said with a fond chuckle as she held her tears at bay, she couldn’t start crying before her award speech now. “Let’s go…”

With tears streaming down their faces, they walked from their seat towards the stage and claim the award. They faced the thousands supporters they have and smiled as they cry…

“I know we still lack a lot, but you guys continue to support us. Because of the Aliens, we received this award. I don’t think…” Lei stopped to wipe her tears. “I would thank a lot of people, but I don’t think I can cause I’m about to breakdown in tears right at this second.”

The crowd laughed but almost everyone had tears in their eyes. This wasn’t just a normal awarding, this was the official start of their achievements. It will be the foundation they’ll carry in years until they disband and left the KPOP world, this is a game-changer for 4D.

Their families were all watching, their idols relative were there smiling for them, the Aliens were crying with them as their hearts fill with warmth the moment the trophy was handed.

“I’ll take over.” Jeril said, smiling softly at Lei. “First, I’d like to thank Sae Young Academy for giving such a perfect group for me. For my mom, my dad…even my brother, thank you for supporting me. Without them and my members, I wouldn’t be standing right here now.”

Jeril was never good with words nor how to express her fond feelings, but with those few words, everyone felt how genuinely happy she is with her members. And to think that they just became a group because of one silly school evaluation, this could only means destiny.

The hardship they’ve been through, being different people with different personalities, they would bound to have some hardships. But they passed it, and look at where they are now…

“Care to replace me?” Anika nodded her head as she replaced Jeril’s place. For all the times she had stand infront of a microphone, this is one of the rare she is nervous while doing so.

“I would like to thank my dad the most, for giving this opportunity to us. And to everyone in Choi Entertainment, who supported us throughout our trainee days and debut. To my members…” Anika let out a gentle sigh. “…I think you all know how thankful I am, right?”

The members nodded their head, smiling at their group mother. Anika really had come far from being the famous loner of Sae Young Academy. She was now their official mother, who takes care of them in a very special way, and they couldn’t ask for anyone better for the job.

Anika couldn’t imagine what would her life be without these three troublemakers, she’s very glad and happy that they all got to know each other and had became an official KPOP group.

“Alright, it’s our leader’s turn.” Lei announced with a laugh. “Make us cry a lot, Ked unnie…” Erika chuckled and shook her head at the maknae’s antics before standing infront of the mic.

“Mic check.” the crowd chuckled. “First of all, I would like to thank God for giving me my…” and that’s when Kim Erika Dane finally teared up. “…for giving me my loving members, who had stayed with me after all that had happened. You know, this is really a big deal for me, cause I was a soloist before and it was lonely. But now, I have a second family to be with.”

They shared a soft smile with each other before Erika continued. She thanked everyone; the fans, their parents, their relatives, the staffs, everyone who supported them and God. At the end of her speech, she was wrapped into a hug by the other members as they cried together.

The crowd clapped their hands and cheered loudly for the new monster group in the next generation. The other idols couldn’t help but stand up and clapped their hands together.

Everyone that Erika thanked watched them with tears in their eyes and a smile in their lips.

“And that was our Rookie of the Year, and they certainly matched the criteria. They really deserve this award, let’s give them another round of applause please.” and the crowd did.

“Thank you very much.” they said in unison. “4 different person, 4 different character, 4D!”

And that’s the end. Thank you everyone who supported this lame story. HAHAHA. I dedicate this to my members; Cindy (Anika), Sophia (Lei) and Jeanne (Jeril). There’s some resemblance between their real self and fictional self because I wrote this while being inspired with them.

Thank you so much for staying with me for such a very long time. We passed one year, and I hope there’s more years to come. Let’s stay strong, okay? I don’t want 4D to break up. And I really am thankful that you guys picked me as your leader, it something I am proud of. I mean, I have a lot of things to be proud of cause I’m a person with a lot of pride but…you guys are something special. Let’s stay together, 4D hwaiting! Kaja, kaja! Road to infinity, here we go!
