3rd Person’s POV

[Sae Young Academy of Arts…June 07, 20XX]

Lei was doing council works as always. Being the Student Council also has the disadvantage of being busy all the time.

“Lei sunbae, I have the report for this year’s enrollees.”

“Great. Just put it there. I’ll take care of it.” Lei answered to the councilor

The councilor did what Lei said and put the loads of paperworks in the poor President’s table. The bell rang so Lei stood up with a sigh and entered the meeting room.

“You guys can take your lunch. I’ll excuse you to your class later so we could continue.”

“Thank you, President.” the councilors said as they stood up

“How about you, Lei? Not going to eat yet?” a classmate asked to Lei

“I’ll finish my paperworks so I could help with you guys later.”

“Eyy! You could finish that later. You should eat too, you know. Leave that and let’s go eat.”

“I’m fine. You go, first.”

“Lei…”

“Really. Just go. I’ll follow afterwards.”

“Alright. Make sure you eat lunch, okay?”

“I will. Eat well.” Lei said before her classmate went out of the room “Now, then. Let’s do this.” she muttered before going back to her table and doing her works while playing music in her phone

Lei managed to finish her works after a while but she got lost track of time so she forgot to eat lunch. She was too focused in her works and in the music on her earphone that she was shocked when someone pulled it off her ear.

“Oh, sorry. I didn’t noticed you’re here.” Lei said to the one who pulled her earphone

“I know you’re busy with the council again so I bought you lunch. Eat this now since I need to go.”

“Okay. Thanks, savior.” Lei said with a smile before eating the lunch he bought “I owe you a lot.”

“Don’t mention it.” he answered before going out of the Council office but then came back “By the way, she’s back.”

“She?” Lei repeated and then she realized “Ohh…she. That idol…Well, I don’t think she’ll cause trouble.”

“She won’t. But her fans might. Anyways, don’t be stressed out. I’ll see you later.”

“Yeah, see you.” Lei said as she watched the door close with a smile then looked outside the window “I do hope that prideful idol won’t let her fan cause trouble for the council.” she muttered

Jeril punched the guy before grabbing his bat and hit it on him. After that, Jeril kicked the guy behind the one she hit with a bat. When she saw that all guys were down, she grabbed her bag.

“Tsk. Weak…” Jeril muttered when someone suddenly hit her behind “Aish…”

Jeril looked behind and saw another group with bats and knuckles with them.

“Reinforcement? Well, that’s fine.” Jeril stated as she let go of the bag “I’m still unsatisfied, after all.” she added and started fighting again

Punch here, punch there. Kick here, kick there. Jeril’s opponents weapon were useless against her because it seems like she doesn’t feel any pain when it hits her. The gangsters were now realizing why Jeril was known as ‘The Untamable’ because no one can stop her at all.

After a few minutes, all of the reinforcements were down in the ground. Jeril dust off her school jacket before taking it off and tying it in her waist as she bend down to talk to one of the gangsters.

“Next time you fight me, please bring a whole battalion. I’m still bored.” Jeril said before walking away

Anika was walking around the campus but she couldn’t find the right place to listen music so she went to the rooftop but it was locked. With a sigh, Anika got her hairpin and opened the lock of the door then entered the place before locking it again.

Anika dusted the floor of the rooftop before laying down. She got her headphone and played music in her phone then wore the headphones in her head to listen music as she watch the sky.

It was just a typical day for Anika to leave the world behind and focus in her music. She was a music lover so as long as she have her headphone and phone with music, it was perfect for her.

Anika closed her eyes as she felt the breeze hit her face with the music as background of the sensation when it was suddenly interrupted because of a call.

Anika answered the call “Hello?”

(Anika.)

“Ma? Ba’t ka napatawag? Sesermonan mo na naman ba ako?” [Translation: Mom? Why are you calling? Are you going to scold me again?]

(Gusto kong umuwi ka na, Anika. Dito sa Pilipinas.) [Translation: I want you go come home, Anika. Here in the Philippines.]

“Ma. Ilang beses na ba nating napag-usapan to? Ayoko ngang umuwi kasi ayoko diyan sa Pilipinas. No offense to our country but my dream is here in Korea.” [Translation: Mom. How many times are we going to talk about this? I don’t want to go home there in the Philippines.]

(Andito ang family business natin. Ikaw at ang Kuya mo ang magmamanage nito.) [Translation: Our family business in here. You and your older brother are going to manage it.]

“Kuya can handle that. Bakit kailangan nandyan din ako? Ayoko maging lawyer, Ma.” [Translation: Why do I have to be needed there? I don’t want to be a lawyer, mom.]

(Kailangan mo maging lawyer, Anika. Dapat kang sumunod sa ating tradisyon. Alam mo, mabuti pa talaga ang Kuya mo kesa sayo.) [Translation: You need to be a lawyer, Anika. You need to follow our tradition. You know, you’re brother is really better than you.]

Anika snapped “You know what, yeah. Kuya is better than me, in your perspective, because you know what? It’s because Kuya follows everything you ask him to do. I’m not like him because I will follow my dream, Ma. Pasensya ka na pero...ayokong umuwi.” with that, Anika ended the call. [Translation: I’m sorry but…I don’t want to go home.]

Anika turned her phone off so she put her headphone to the side. She took a deep breath before decided to just sing instead of playing music. Yeah, music is her cure to every shtty thing in the world.

“It’s too bad it’s the goodbye stage of Ked sshi.” the MC of Music Bank said “TT.” he added because Erika’s favorite group were TWICE and it made Erika chuckle

“I know it’s sad but it’s not the end. This is just the beginning of a new chapter in my life.” Erika answered “I’ll be returning to Sae Young Academy of Arts to continue my study.”

“Oh, you’ll be returning to school.” the other MC commented “That’s great, Ked sshi.”

“Yeah. But along the way, I’ll probably be having my repackaged album so I’ll be back here again. Please take care of me.” Erika said with a laugh

“We will, Ked sshi. Goodluck with your studies. Now, let’s introduce our next performers.”

Erika faced the camera and gave a smile. “Let’s all welcome Red Velvet with their comeback.”

After Erika said that, the director cut the scene. It was time for Erika to return to Sae Young Academy, after all. Erika bid farewell to all staff of the Music Bank before going out of the venue and riding the van.

“Are you going to be okay in Sae Young, Erika?” her manager asked

“Ofcourse. You don’t have to worry about me. I can handle myself.” Erika answered with a wink

“Alright, kiddo. Take care, though. And update me always. Your mother assigned you to me, remember?”

“I remember. Don’t worry, manager. I won’t do anything that would harm me or you.”

“I trust you. Now, let’s go to your school. I heard you’ll be living in a dorm and there will be evaluation every month. Do well so you can graduate fast, okay?”

“No matter what I do, I will still graduate after 10 months.” Erika joked “Oh, I can see Sae Young. It’s been like…7 months since I’m gone, right?”

“Yeah. It’s been 7 months since you entered the school.” her manager answered “Well…we’re just dropping you off. You’re a star so be careful for stalkers and paparazzi.”

“I will. See you later, manager. Take care.”

“You too, kiddo.” her manager said before closing the door to the van and drove off

Erika watched as the van goes further before facing the academy “It’s been a long time but I’m back. Sae Young, your pride is here.” she muttered before entering the school
