3rd Person’s POV

Lei’s boyfriend, Timothy, is being the perfect boyfriend to her. Always bringing her flowers to her office, chocolates in her locker and everything else. On Saturday, he took Lei to a date and on Sunday, he took her to the church. In conclusion, he was proving himself.

So, Erika didn’t have a choice but to accept that Timothy is ‘actually’ worthy to be with Lei even though she was still feeling that something was off with the guy. But she tried to be civil with him until she finds out what it is.

Everyday Timothy would show them, especially Erika, that he was the perfect boyfriend. But, somewhere deep inside Erika, she knows it wouldn’t last.

[Sae Young Dormitories…August 17, 20XX]

Jeril entered the dorm room 4D and saw Lei on the sofa. She was shocked to see that Timothy wasn’t around their dorm right now. She was more shocked seeing that Lei was just watching the TV with her right hand holding the remote and the left holding her phone.

“Where’s Mr. Perfect?”

Lei turned around and smiled sadly to Jeril. “He’s busy. Texted me that he was stuck in the drama club.”

“Oh, he’s playing Prince at the play of Snow White, right?”

The door opened with Anika snickering. “How’d you know? Are you playing one of the seven dwarfs, Chase?”

“I will beat you up, Choi.”

“Kidding~” Anika muttered before facing Lei. “Joking aside, I think the practice of the play had already ended. Ked unnie’s a part of it and she’s coming here now.”

Just as Anika said that, the door opened again and Erika entered. “I heard my name, what’s up?”

“You’re part of the Snow White play?”

“Didn’t I tell you? I play as one of Snow White’s dwarfs.” Erika stated, making Jeril and Anika chuckled. “Don’t laugh at me, Jeon. I’m taller than you.” 

“Then, why are you a dwarf?”

“Because I refuse to play Snow White. No way in hell I’m going to kiss my cousin.”

“Timothy’s your cousin?”

“He’s Kim Taehyung’s cousin, so he’s my cousin too. I just forgot who his father is. But I’ll remember soon. But that’s not the point, what happened with you two? He isn’t here right now so, did you two had a fight?”

Lei stood up and showed her phone to her three unnies. Timothy’s last message was a small ‘Busy. TYL.’

“That sounds like an excuse.”

“It is an excuse. That’s very clear.”

“Calm down, Jeon.” Erika muttered with a chuckle before patting Lei. “It’s okay, L. There’s always an up and a down in a relationship. It’s not always flowers, chocolates and perfect moments. A fall out is really bound to happen. But it you’re strong, you’ll get through it.”

“Wise word coming from someone who doesn’t know what love is.”

“Excuse me? I do know what love is.”

“Then, tell me. What is love?”

Erika and Jeril got into an intense staring contest before Erika let out a sigh. “Fine, I don’t know what love is. I never experienced love, but what I do have an experience in is a relationship. I’ve been in a lot of relationships, so I know. Is that enough?”

“Fair enough.” Jeril agreed. “Well, I’ve been single since I was a fetus so I don’t think I can help. Yet, I think Ked sshi is right. It’s just the ups and downs of a relationship. You two are sickening adorable so you’ll be fine…I think.”

“They’ll be fine, guys.” Anika said, mainly to Erika and Jeril. “I don’t think Timothy’s the kind of guy to play around. Besides, Chase made it clear to him and I doubt he’ll hurt Lei knowing what Jeon Jeril Chase could do.” she added, winking to Jeril at the end.

Lei just chuckled and nodded her head. “Thanks for the support, unnies. I’m glad I told you about this. If not, I would have been dealing with this all alone.”

“No way I would allow a 4D member to be alone.” Erika commented. “Now come over here, crybaby.” she said, opening her arms for Lei to hug.

Lei didn’t even noticed that she was already crying. Nevertheless, she jumped into their leader’s arm and hugged her. Erika soothed her back while whispering something to Lei, that was inaudible to Jeril and Anika.

“Main ship of 4D, people.” Jeril teased, earning a slap in the shoulder from Anika and a glare from Erika. “Kidding, kidding~”

“You and I are the main ship, idiot.” Anika muttered while strucking her tongue out.

“There’s no way I will be shipmate with you, dear Choi. You and Leader nim are the main ship, in my opinion.”

“Alright, that’s enough.” Erika interrupted. “All ships are the main ships, now shut it.”

Lei just chuckled again as she shook her head. Her unnies were acting childish again.

[Sae Young Academy of Arts…August 19, 20XX]

It was the day of the play. The drama club was preparing at the backstage so Lei thought of visiting Timothy before the play starts to wish him a goodluck. So she went to her boyfriend’s change room but when she entered, no one was inside the room.

“Looking for your guy?”

Lei immediately turned around, shocked seeing Erika smirking at her. “U-Unnie.” she called as she back away. “What are you doing here? You’re supposed to be changing, right?”

“Nah, I’m done. You know my face don’t need too much make up, right?” Erika stated with a wink. “Anyways, I’m here to tell you that he’s in Snow White’s room.”

“What is he doing there?”

“Last minute practice. Want me to take you there?”

“No, it’s fine. I should just go back to the audience stand, since the play’s about to start.”

“If that’s the case, I’ll take you back then. The dwarves aren’t entering at the beginning, anyways.” Erika said, hooking Lei’s arm with hers and took her back to Anika and Jeril.

“Such a gentlewoman.” Lei teased as she let Erika lead her back to the audience stand.

“Well, here’s your stop. I’ll head back now and let you watch a masterpiece.”

Erika walked back to the backstage and the play started after a few more minute. The play was actually great. They all cheered when Erika made an appearance, as expected, but Timothy also got cheered for being handsome in his prince costume.

“Should I cover your eyes at the kissing scene?” Anika said teasingly.

“I’m fine. I’m not going to get jealous over a play kiss.”

“Whatever you say, Son.” Jeril commented with her infamous smirk.

And sure enough, the kissing scene came and Lei watched it without getting jealous...just a little. The play ended after a while and the curtain closed.

“Let’s go congratulate our leader.”

Lei nodded her head in agreement, but also because she wanted to congratulate Timothy. They reached the changing rooms and saw Erika’s.

“You go in first, I’ll just go check on Timothy.”

“Why didn’t you said so? Let’s go first to him, then. I’m 101% sure that Erika’s room is occupied.” Jeril said with a shrug but Anika and Lei stopped to look at her. “What?”

“What do you mean ‘occupied’?”

“Gabriel was here earlier, so I bet they’re talking right now. Unfortunately, with their lips.”

“Chase, stop being gross please.” Anika muttered as she roll her eyes and held Lei’s arm. “Come on, let’s get you to your guy first.”

They walked towards Timothy’s changing room and knocked on the door when they got there. There was no answer, so they knocked again.

“Maybe…he’s not there?” 

“Where would he be?”

“Check the room first.”

Lei opened the door and immediately regretted it upon seeing her boyfriend and Snow White kissing. The play had already ended…so why are they kissing?

“Now that’s talking using the lips…”

“Jeon Jeril, shut up.”

Before Anika and Jeril could react, Lei had already ran away from there.
