3rd Person’s POV

[TWICE Dormitories…January 04, 20XX]

“Happy DubChaeng Day.” Erika greeted, smiling her famous eyesmile as she handed Dahyun and Chaeyoung two mugs with their faces on it. She always gives the two some DubChaeng stuffs at the 4th day of the month because it was DubChaeng day.

“You don’t have to do this every month, you know.”

“I know. But I want to. I’m your biggest shipper, oh my god.”

Chaeyoung laughed and peck Dahyun’s cheeks. “It’s fine, babe. There’s nothing you can do. Just let your cousin do what she wants.” and Dahyun let it go, because Chaeyoung said so.

“So, what’s the real reason you’re here?”

“What do you mean?”

“I know you well. You’re my cousin, there’s another reason why you’re here.”

“Fine.” Erika muttered with a pout. “It’s about mom. She’s coming back, but wouldn’t tell me when. So now, I’m being paranoid if she will or will not see me with the 4D.”

“Well, to assure you. I can tell that your mother isn’t here yet.”

“How can you assure me that?”

“We’ve been to airports back and forth this day, comeback’s coming close, and I haven’t seen any planes that you own. So for now, you’re good.”

“Oh, thank God.” Erika let out a long sigh before sitting down on the sofa. “I also came here to tell you that one of my members know about my situation. I told her.”

“Why did you do that?” Chaeyoung asked.

“I need someone to have my back. I can’t have your cousin do that, it would hurt her, so I choose my buddy instead. But I’m worried, she’s also having problems right now.”

[Sae Young Dormitories]

Jeril had been pacing back and forth on the dorm room and Anika was getting worried, so is Lei. They don’t know what’s going on with the gangster, but they know it wasn’t good.

“Chase, can you please calm down and have a seat?”

“No, I can’t. I’m sorry, but I can’t calm down right now.”

“What’s wrong, unnie?”

“Well, you know how your parents are strict?” Lei nodded. “And how leader’s parents are perfectionist?” Anika nodded. “My father is both of that. He’s a strict perfectionist.”

“Oh…”

“Yes, oh. And now, he’s coming back here in South Korea. He’s in Japan, cause that’s where our clan is, but he always comes back here if there’s something that he wanted to change.”

“And you think that it’s about you?”

“No, I know that it’s about me. Dad never cared about what Lance does because he wasn’t the one who’s going to manage the Jeon clan after Dad, I will.”

“What’s the Jeon clan?”

“A clan of yakuza. You know, Japanese mafia.”

“WHAAAT?” Lei and Anika exclaimed, both of them were looking at Jeril with wide eyes. They know Jeril was a gangster, but to inherit a mafia clan is not even close to that.

“Yes. My father’s the boss, that’s why he’s super scary. God, I don’t want you to meet him.”

The two innocent members nodded their head in agreement. They don’t want to meet Jeril’s father no matter what circumstances are. Just the thought of him was scary enough.

“Wait, why isn’t Ivan the one who’s taking after your father? He’s the older one, right?” talking about her ex made Anika mad, but she needs to ask.

“He’s not a Jeon. My brother’s name is Lance Ivan Park, not Jeon. My father didn’t made him use our name because he knows that he won’t be handing the clan to that bastard.”

“Why you? It’s dangerous. Nope, that’s an understatement. It’s deadly, Chase.”

‘Geez, calm down. You’ve been watching too many movies. Yakuza clans aren’t really like the one in films, you know. We don’t wage war, we protect our properties.”

“What if someone wants to take away your properties?”

“Then, we fight. Easy.”

Lei was about to say something but Anika shook her head to signal her not to bother. Fighting was easy for Jeril. Heck, it was like breathing for her. So, they couldn’t do anything but accept the fact that Jeril is indeed a yakuza heir.

“How come we never talked about this?”

“You never asked.”

“You--”

This time, it was Lei who signaled Anika by shaking her hand. But not without a chuckle. Jeril laughed first and Anika couldn’t help but joining in, Lei followed after.

But their laughter was cut off when they heard a knock on the door.

“Oh no.” Jeril muttered. It was her dad, she knows it. He was already home and was now going to interrogate her. She’s panicking, oh God. But then, a warm hand held her’s.

“Calm down, it could be Ked unnie.”

“Right…”

Lei took the honor of standing up and went to open the door. The maknae’s smiles widens as she saw their leader on the other side of the door. And ofcourse, the leader smiled back.

“Hey, baby. I’m home.”

“Welcome home.”

Jeril gagged while Anika laughed at her reaction. Erika and Lei always do that just to tease the two members. They acted like a grossly-clingy couple because Jeril hates those.

“Oh, we have a visitor, by the way.” Erika stated. “Come in, uncle.” and just as she said it, a blonde man with piercing black eyes in a suit entered the room and looked straight at Jeril.

“Hello, Lj.”
