While taking the bus to work, I bumped into Yoona and we both came to work together. “Well, I guess I lost…” Yoona reminded me of the “bet” we had made.

            “Oh, I guess so?” I shrugged. Honestly, I didn’t care much about winning. All that mattered was that everything worked out for the clients.

            “So what do you want me to do?” Yoona was ready to accept any punishment.

            “Ummm… let me think about it,” I answered.

            When we arrived at the agency, we saw that Taeyeon was already there with Leeteuk. “Good morning!” Yoona greeted.

            “Morning,” I waved at them.

            “Oh, you look like a couple walking in together!” Taeyeon teased. I could see that love was in the air. I felt my cheeks turn pink by Taeyeon’s comment, so I decided to change the topic, “So when are you two going to get married?”

            “We still haven’t decided yet,” they answered in sync.

            “Oh yeah, I got us another client!” Yoona jumped up from her seat and stood in front of the three of us.

            “Who?” Taeyeon asked.

            “Oh, you’ll see soon. They’ll be up soon!” Yoona smiled.

            “They’re here! I’ll go down to pick them up!” Yoona jumped out of her seat and zipped out of the agency.

            “Wow, she seems so excited…” I muttered under my breath. Was it someone I knew? I didn’t even want to wonder if she had a boyfriend whom she was suddenly inviting. If she did, my chances were zero.

            “Okay! Come in!” Yoona opened the agency door and stepped in first. She had a big smile on her face, “Guys, meet… my MOM!!” Yoona’s mom walked into the agency. “Mom, this is where I work!” Yoona gestured her into the agency to the seating area. Yoona had a big smile on her face.

            I smiled at Yoona’s mother; she’d been my mom’s good friend… Suddenly I felt troubled. What if Mrs. Im recognized me? I turned my back to Yoona and her mother.

            “Hey, Nathan! Is that really how you treat a new customer?!” Yoona complained.

            “NEW CUSTOMER?!!” Mrs. Im and I both stared at Yoona in disbelief/shock.

            “Yup!” Yoona smiled, “Mom, I want you to find your other half.”
