Chapter 25: Confession Part 1
Perfect for Me“Tiffany? What’s going on?! Why are you on top of Eunhyuk?!” Krystal scoffed.
“It’s… it’s not what it seems.” Tiffany stuttered as she peeled herself off Eunhyuk.
“Tiffany!!! I THOUGHT THAT WE WERE FRIENDS! WHAT IS GOING ON?!” Krystal was so angry. Tiffany could see that Krystal’s eyes were red and her veins bulging from her neck.
`”SHHHHH!!!!” other people shushed the two (Well, Krystal).
Eunhyuk was helpless. He wasn’t sure what was really happening. Wait Krystal and Tiffany knew each other? They were friends? Eunhyuk thought about the two girls. He’d met Tiffany when she first entered his grand opening of the bakery as a culinary student. She’d come to the bakery with her professor to try the unique flavors of this new bakery. He recalled when he first saw her he thought that she was a lot younger maybe in high school and he’d thought that’s she was sort of cute and small, so he’d given her a free pastry to try. She’d looked so confused so Eunhyuk had told her “It’s on the house.”
On the other hand Eunhyuk had met Krystal a month later in the bakery. Krystal had entered the bakery alone. She walked over to the front looking at the cakes in the glass area. Someone had come to help her but Krystal hadn’t found a cake that she really liked so she had asked to meet the chef to customize a cake. Eunhyuk came out of the baking room and taken a seat with Krystal and they had discussed the ideal cake design to congratulate her friend for finding a bakery to apprentice for. Little did Krystal know that Eunhyuk was Tiffany’s apprentice. They had created a beautiful cake and Eunhyuk even allowed Krystal to watch him bake.
“Can you write: Congratulations Hwang Miyoung on the cake?” Krystal had requested to Eunhyuk once the cake had finished baking.
“Sure,” Eunhyuk wrote that message on the frosted cake.
“Thank you so much!” Krystal said while blushing. Eunhyuk was so cool!! Krystal wondered if she had fell for him.
Eunhyuk took both girls out of the area to explain to them exactly what was going on. He eyed both girls, “Let me tell you what is going on. But will you both promise to first calm down and let me finish my story before you decide to rage?”
Krystal glared at Tiffany but both girls nodded.
“Krystal, I met Tiffany when she started to apprentice here. You know that she wants to become a baker so she came here to do that. I’ve been training her for a while now…” Eunhyuk peered at Tiffany now, “Tiffany, a few weeks later, your friend Krystal came into this very bakery to customize a cake to congratulate you for getting into culinary school. And I showed her how to bake the cake and customize it.”
Both girls looked at each other now. Tiffany was shocked. She felt a bit guilty. Krystal had done that for her? She’d come to this bakery to customize a cake for her? She remembered eating the delicious cake and asking Krystal where she’d gotten it from but Krystal didn’t want to tell her. Oh, no wonder.
Being the innocent one, Tiffany felt really guilty and bad. She peered at Krystal standing scross from her. Krystal looked as if she was close to tears. She felt bad about making Krystal cry. Was Eunhyuk really a reasonable cause for their friendship to be broken?
“I’m going home.” Tiffany suddenly said. She hadn’t gotten to see the show with Eunhyuk but whatever… Let it go. Tiffany trudged out of the room.
Krystal and Eunhyuk stared after her. Krystal looked up from her fake tears thinking, ‘So this is her forfeit?’
