Chapter 23: Tiffany's Date with Eunhyuk
Perfect for Me“Have a fun time on your date!” Yoona teased Tiffany.
“It’s not a date…” Tiffany blushed.
“Not necessarily…” Yoona poked Tiffany’s cheek. “If it’s a girl and a guy and one or both parties like each other, I think it’s a date!”
“So does that mean that if you went somewhere with Nathan it’d be a date?” Tiffany bluntly asked with an amusing tone in her voice.
“Ahhh!!” I looked up suddenly from my work. I’d actually been listening subconsciously because I was absorbed into my work, but now I was listening. I felt my cheeks burn from embarrassment.
“But that’s different! We’re just co-workers!” Yoona pointed out. “Strictly business!”
“Oh” Tiffany sighed. Supposedly she had lost this argument.
I couldn’t help but feel a bit hurt. ‘Just co-workers… strictly business’; it was understandable…
“Okay, it’s time I set out,” Tiffany waved to us and exited the building.

Tiffany entered the café and looked around. She spotted Eunhyuk deep in thought. She smiled and headed over to the table and sat down. Eunhyuk snapped out of his daze and smiled at Tiffany, “Hello.”
Tiffany smiled cutely and replied, “Hello, Eunhyuk oppa!”
Eunhyuk was shocked by her cuteness and didn’t know what to say next.
“I can call you that right? Eunhyuk oppa?” Tiffany tilted her head.
“Yeah… I suppose so,” Eunhyuk covered his flushed red face with his hand. Tiffany was pretty cute…
Tiffany could see that his face was a bit pink. She smiled to herself and ordered a drink. It seemed like Eunhyuk had a soft side.
Eunhyuk brought his drink to his lips and sipped it. He then cleared his throat. “The watch… you have the watch right?”
Tiffany reluctantly opened her purse and held it out to him.
“Where did you find it?” Eunhyuk observed the watch for any scratches.
“Well… I know that you love baking and making pastries, so I kind of searched the café that you work in and I found it in your oven.” Tiffany admitted. It was a weird story, but it was the truth.
Eunhyuk just stared at Tiffany. Tiffany felt a chill run up her spine. Did he think it was freaky?! Tiffany began to worry.
Tiffany’s anxiousness was broken when Eunhyuk began to laugh. “”Oh, silly of me to put it in there!” Eunhyuk laughed. After he caught his breath he had a big smile on his face. He peered at Tiffany. Tiffany felt as if she was a tiny specimen and he was looking at her through a microscope. Eunhyuk cleared his throat and began to chuckle again, “So, Tiffany, I’ve seen you baking before. You’re pretty good. You’re fresh in the business, but I think that you’re already even better than me!”
Tiffany’s eyes glowed with pleasure as he complimented her. She was beaming.
“So Tiffany… how would you like to be my apprentice at the bakery? I’ll teach you the secrets and treasures about baking.” Eunhyuk held out his hand. Tiffany felt as if he was currently offering her an one thousand dollar bill. Seriously?!!!
Tiffany started to laugh, “Shut up!!” She smiled, “Are you for real?!!” She peered back at Eunhyuk and noticed that his smiled had slightly faded. “Oh my gosh! Sorry! I didn’t mean to tell you to shut up! You should keep talking! I think I should shut up!”
Eunhyuk smiled once again and laughed, “You’re funny, Tiffany. We need that kind of talent and humor at our bakery! And yes, this is real. How would you like to apprentice at my bakery?”
Tiffany nodded reluctantly like a puppy receiving a bone. YES! She would be an idiot if she rejected such an offer!
“Ummmm, do you want to go somewhere? Walk around? I have two tickets to a show that I got from my friend… would you like to go together?” Tiffany asked Eunhyuk.
“Oh sure,” Eunhyuk agreed to.
As they went to the show, Tiffany spotted a bouquet of lilies at a boutique and she rushed over to sniff them. “Oh my! I haven’t seen these in a while!” She smiled as she sniffed the flowers. As Tiffany was sniffing the flowers, she heard Eunhyuk’s phone ringing from behind.
“Hello?”
Tiffany looked up from the flowers when she heard Eunhyuk talking to someone. Who could he be talking to?
