It was the next day. I arrived at the dating agency and to my surprise I found the front door wide open. This was a bit strange since I was usually the first who arrived and opened the door. I entered the agency and cautiously looked around. I didn’t see anyone…

            “Hey,” Yoona suddenly popped up from nowhere and startled me.

            “Oh my g-!” I slapped my hand over my mouth. No swearing! “What are you doing here so early?!” My eyes were bulging out at her.

            “Sheesh Nathan… Why cant I be earlier than you?” Yoona picked up an iced tea from her table and sipped at it.

            “No, it’s just that… you surprised me!” I substituted the word “scared” with “surprised”. I sighed. Even when we were younger she would do this. “Ya Yoona.”

            Yoona looked up at me, “What, oppa?” she bit her bottom lip.

            “Do you have any childhood memories?” I sat on my chair with wheels and rolled my chair over to her desk.

            “Ummm…” Yoona put her hand under her head and rested it there. I admired her thinking hard.

            “Yeah, I used to have a childhood friend like Joohyun did. He was like an older brother to me. He took care of me and I admired him… but then he had to leave to America… and I never saw him again.” Yoona had sadness in her voice.

            “It sounds as if you had a crush on him…” It felt weird to refer to myself as “him” but I didn’t know whether or not I should tell her who I really was now.

            “I did. We did everything together. I felt like I couldn’t do anything without him…” Yoona sighed.

            “What was his name?” I questioned next. I knew the anser but I wanted to hear her say it.

            All of a sudden the front door opened and Taeyeon strolled in. She stomped over to her desk and dropped her bag. She plopped onto her seat and buried her head into her arms. Yoona and I simply stared at her. Was she okay?

            Yoona stood up and went over to Taeyeon. I also followed and placed my hand onto Taeyeon’s shoulder. Taeyeon shrugged my hand off.

            “Hey Taeyeon, are you okay?” I asked.

She didn’t answer so Yoona asked, “Taeyeon, are you alright?”

We heard silent sniffles and weeping. Taeyeon was crying!

“Taeyeon?”

Taeyeon lifted her head and met eye contact with Yoona and me. Her eyes were red and dappled with tears. I’d never seen her look so upset before…

“My boyfriend… he doesn’t love me!!!” She bawled and hiccupped.

“What are you talking about!?” Yoona bent down next to Taeyeon.

Taeyeon picked her head up and wiped her eyes with her sleeve. “I saw him with another woman! And they looked pretty close, so I approached him to ask but he thought I was being delusional!” Taeyeon poured out the details and once again hid her head into her arms.
