I walked into work after a short break. It was already august. During my short break, I had returned to America to visit my mother. We had lots of catching up to do; I met the man that had helped my mother get a job. He seemed pretty nice and seemed to really know and care for my mother. My mother seemed pretty happy as is so I felt content.

            My father passed away when I was very young, so I had been pretty stubborn about my mom seeing another man. Now after being discharged and after experiencing love, but best yet: after re-meeting Yoona, my childhood love, I felt a bit more open to the possibility of having another father. His name was Mr. Song so I asked him if he liked music. Of course I was only joking but when I asked him he told me that he did in fact love music and that he wanted to write many songs for my mother. He also told me that he wanted to marry my mother. I was more than willing to give them my blessings.

            I sat down at my desk and put my head on my desk. I hadn’t heard from Eunhyuk and Tiffany in a while, so I didn’t know where they really were. I was in the midst of rest when I heard a sudden wind chime.

            Alarmed, I picked my head up from the table and peered at the previously un-noticed wind chime hanging from the door. I also noticed that Taeyeon had also come in. Yoona followed in behind her. Both women had big smiles on their faces and were chatting and laughing. The agency suddenly seemed so lively.

            “Hey Nathan! How was your break?” Yoona sat down across from me and peered at me with big eyes.

            “Good… I suppose,” I shrugged as I rubbed the sleep from my eyes.

            “That’s good news! Well guess what? Taeyeon has good news too!” Yoona nudged Taeyeon, “Tell him!” Yoona was giggling which made me smile. She was always so cute when she giggled and beautiful at all times.

            “Awww Yoona… Okay, Nathan… I have a boyfriend named Park Leeteuk.” Taeyeon spit out the gossip. He asked me out a few days ago!

            “Taeyeon! Tell him how!” Yoona nudged Taeyeon.

            Taeyeon smirked at Yoona and looked as if she was in a dream, “He’s a police man… A few nights ago, there was a thief that tried to steal my purse, but luckily Leetuk was there and he caught the thief. He’s so strong! He ran after the thief and pushed him down to the floor and wrestled my purse out of him! And then he returned it to me. When our hands touched, I felt a static and my heart was about to jump out!”

            Yoona laughed, “Woah, Taeyeon… you’re so excited! Take a breather!”

            Taeyeon giggled, “To thank him for the favor, I asked him out to dinner and over dinner we found so much in common… Apparently he was in the same grade school as me. He was only three grades before me. We had a lot to laugh about. When I was younger, he actually saved me from a bully. I thought I’d never remeet him…” Taeyeon had hearts in her eyes.

            “Oh wow, Taeyeon! Congrats!” I patted her on the shoulder.

            “So when will you introduce him to us?” Yoona teased.

            “Soon,” Taeyeon smiled at Yoona and me.
