“This is my girlfriend…Hwang EunHye.” The girls were shocked and speechless.

“Hello.” YeonYeon try to put on a smiles, “I’m Kim YeonYeon.”

“I’m Park MinSeul.” MinSeul had a small smile.

“JungHo has told me a lot about you guys.” EunHye was beautiful, she had fair skin, big goggle eyes, and perfect hair. “Especially you YeonYeon ssi. He says that you watch out for him a lot.”

“Ani.” She smiles, “It my job as a friend.”

“So how long have you two been dating?” he gave MinSeul the guilty look.

“Since the beginning of this year actually.” YeonYeon tried her best not to look upset, “I wanted to tell you guys but I didn’t know if it was the right time or not.” He sigh, “EunHye is transferring to our school in a couple days and I wanted her to meet you two so that she would at least have some people to talk to.”

“That would be awesome.” MinSeul smiles.

“How about we hang out sometime?” EunHye asked, “This coming week.”

“Sur -.”

“We can’t.” YeonYeon cut MinSuel off. The three of them looks at her.

“Why not?” JungHo asks, “You guys don’t have plans do you?”

“MinSeul agreed to go to the Kingkas’ camp out in a couple of days.” JungHo looks at MinSeul, “We can’t let them down now can we.” YeonYeon turns her head and smiles at MinSeul. Instantly she got the message.

“N-ne…I did agree.”MinSeul nods.

“I thought you hated their guts, kingkas and queenkas in all.”

“Ha-ha…about that.” MinSeul smiles, “I thought since it is our last year try something new. It doesn’t hurt to.” JungHo nods, “Maybe next time EunHye-ssi. Maybe after you transfer.”

“Ne.” She nods.

MinSeul Pov

Yeonnie and I went to my house after the café. JungHo and EunHye had to go to her house to help her with some homework or something like that. I could tell Yeonnie was upset. Even though she didn’t admit I could tell she had feelings for him, for Lee JungHo.

“Oh your home early.” Halmeoni greeted us as she open the door.

“Ne.” I hug her after taking off my shoe.

“Oh YeonYeon…you’re here too.”

“Ne.” she nods. Halmeoni notice her sad expression.

“YeonYeon, are you okay? You look kind of down.”

“I’m alright Halmeoni. Just exhausted.” I could tell Halmeoni didn’t really believe in YeonYeon. She practically watch YeonYeon grow up into who she was today.

“Ok.” Halmeoni smirks, “You girls go wash up…I’ll bring a little snack for you guys.” I lead her into my room. It was small room with a small closet. I had to buy a rack for the rest of my clothes. My bed was folded up to the side. Yeonnie just sat against the wall and frown. I put my bag down and kneel beside her.

“Yeonnie,” She didn’t budge, “I know you’re not alright so just say something.” Yeonnie turns and looks at me with sad teary eyes.

“I don’t know what is wrong with me.” She bite her lip, “My heart hurts. Right when I saw her, it hurt so badly.” She tries to smile, “I want to be happy but my heart.” She places her hand over her heart, “it is pounding and hurting so bad.”

“You love him.” Yeonnie looks at me in disbelief, “You can deny it as much as you want but I see it.” I sat against the wall next to her, “The first year when I stayed here I could tell you like him.”

“How?”

“Remember I was in a relationship before…I know the look and the actions of a person in love.” I sigh, “Because I was also like that once.”

“Min-ah, what should I do?”

“Be happy for him.” I look at the wall, “If you destroy his relationship with her, he’ll never forgive you. All you can do is watch out for him now.” I turn my head and look at her, “as a friend.” I sigh, “Who knows you might end up with someone else.”

I was glad we had today off, I woke up with Yeonnie next to me. She cried her eyes red last night. I just shook my head and wash up for my morning run.

“Are you not going to eat?” Halmeoni asked me

“Ani,” I was tying my shoe, “I’ll grab something after I am done.” I got out the door and ran towards the park. I turn on my ipod and stuck my headphone in. I was listening to some kpop as I ran around the park.

“MinSeul!” I stop and look around. JunHyung was riding his bike towards me. I just put my headphone back in and began to jog, ignoring him. He rode up right next to me. “MinSeul. Park MinSeul.” He pulls my headphone out.”

“What do you want?” I stop and look at him. He was quiet for a sec before a smile appear on his face. “Are you going to say anything?”

“You have to come to my hang out.”

“Why should I?” I place one of my hand on my hip.

“I’ll be the laughing stock of the school. I got rejected by you in front of the entire class.”

“I care because?”

“Because if you don’t then Yeonnie,” I glare at him, “YeonYeon-ssi will be humiliated.”

“Were you following me?” JunHyung had a grin that reach from ear to ear.

“I followed you since you rejected my invitation. I wanted to know what type of girl reject a kingka.” I scoff a bit.

“Just because you’re a kingka of the school don’t make yourself all high and mighty. When it comes back to reality your popularity rating is as low as mine.” I put my headphones back in and started to jog away from him.

“So is that a yes or a no?” I heard him yell. I just kept running.

JunHyung Pov

After she ran off I couldn’t help but wonder why I kept following her. She didn’t have a bad body either. I guess she keeps it well hidden under all that school uniform.

“Oppa!”

“Hyung!” I heard different people calling me. Yoseob. DongWoon, Dasom and Hyorin came to ride bikes with me today.

“You guys are finally here.” I look at the time.

“Mianhae.” Said Hyorin, “I wanted to find my bike shorts.” I looked at her clothes and she wore a white top with tight shorts that define her . “Do you like it?” she smiles at me.

“Whatever you like, I like.” I got on my bike.

“Hyung.” Said DongWoon, “Who was that girl you were talking to?”

“No one. She was lost and asked for directions. That is all.” I had my foot on the paddle, “Kaja.” We all rode off.

MinSeul Pov

“I’m back.” I open the door. Yeonnie came and greeted me at the door, “You are still here?” She look like she just saw a ghost. “What is wrong?”

“Min-ah.” Halmeoni came to the door.

“Halmeoni, is everything okay?”

“Ne…but you have visitors.”

“Ok.” I look at YeonYeon and she just shook her head. We both walked to the living room. I saw halabeoji and greeted. I turn around and saw a pretty boy sitting on the couch with the dancer of the school.

“MinSeul-ah.” I turned back to look at my grandfather

“Ne, hal-abeoji?”

“Sit.” I sat down across from them, “These two young men have a question they would like to ask you.” I look at them and wondering how in the world did they get my address. “What are your names again?”

“Lee Gi-Kwang.” The dancer introduced himself, “this is my friend Jang HyunSeung.”

“Why are you guys here?” I asked

“We,” they paused, “were asked to give you a personal invitation to our hang out a couple of days from now.” Gi-Kwang took out an invitation from his pocket and put it on the table. “Declining will not be taken as an answer.”

“Min-ah.” I looked at my grandmother, who was standing next to YeonYeon, “Go and have fun. These nice young lads came all the way here to personally invite you. Refusing their invitation would be rude.” I took the invitation from the table.

“Tell JunHyung-ssi that I’ll think about it.” I walked out of the living room to my room with YeonYeon behind me. I threw the invitation onto my desk and went to my closet. Yeonnie takes the envelope and opens it:

“Min.” I look at her, “Are you really going to decline?”

Gi-Kwang and HyunSeung went and met up with the guys at Doo-Joon house. It was big compared to the other house around it. Doo-Joon and the other guys sat around the living room waiting for the two.

“So how did it go?” ask Yoseob. The two older guys came and sat down.

“We can’t really say. She didn’t give us a direct answer.” Said HyunSeung.

“She did seem a little more willing to come after her grandmother told her to come.” Said Gi-Kwang. JunHyung smiles and he notices. “JunHyung.”

“Hmm?” he raise his brows

“Why are you so eager to make her go? She is the most tomboyish girl in our year. There are so many others out there.”

“I don’t know…she just seems…interesting to me.” He rubs his chin.

“So what are we going to be doing at the hang out anyways?” DongWoon jump up and down in his seat.

“What we always do when we go camping in a big group.” Gi-Kwang smirks, “Swimming and watch all those hot babes walk by, game, cookout, bonfire…” there was a light in Gi-Kwang’s eyes as he look at s. He says in a low voice, “ghost stories.” All the guys smile at the idea of scaring the girls.

“Perfect.” JunHyung commented, “All we need to do now is prep. Gi-Kwang you can be in charge of all the activities, Yoseob, DongWoon, and Doo-Joon, you guys are in charge of food, HyunSeung you can be in charge of the supplies.”

“What about you?”

“I going to go and take a look at the place. I got to make sure that everything is alright.”  He got up grab his keys and walked out the door.

MinSeul Pov

Yeonnie left home not too long after the guys left. I went and made myself a sandwich and went to water my garden. I had my sandwich in my mouth as I water the garden.

“MinSeul-ah.” I heard halmeoni from the house

“Ne halmeoni.” I put the watering can on the ground and walked inside. I put the sandwich down and wash my hands.

“Your boyfriend is here.” I stop for a second.

“Boyfriend?” I walked into the living room and there he was sitting on the couch with that cool smirk on his face. From the corner of my eyes I saw Halmoeni smile.

“I’ll leave you two alone.” She walks into the kitchen. I crossed my arms over my chest. He just smiles at me.

“What are you doing here?” He stood up and walked towards me.

“Why don’t you just get dress and I’ll tell you why I am here.”

“No need.”  He shrugs his shoulder and sat down again.

“I’m here to take you to go look at a camp site for me.” He twirl the keys in his hand.

“Why me? I believe you have many girls that can do that for you.”

“I heard you take a liking to nature and I want to make sure there isn’t anything dangerous at the area where we are going…and if you don’t go I’ll stay here and tell your halmeoni how in love we are.” I sighs in frustration and went and grab my jacket and my backpack.

“Kaja.” JunHyung looked at me from head to toe. “Is there a problem?” He stood up.

“Aniyo.” He turns to leave. I took one look into the kitchen and say Halmeoni.

“Halmeoni, I’ll be back in a little while. If I’m late for dinner don’t wait just eat.” I walk to the door where he was waiting. “Kaja.” I open the door and walked out. I notice he wasn’t behind me. I turned around. He was smiling and talking to halmeoni and she smiled back. “Yah!” I got their attention, “Are we going or not?”

“Ne.” he bid farewell to halmeoni and jog towards the car and opens it up for me. I rolled my eyes and sat in the seat. He closed the door and walked around to the other side. I buckle myself in and put my backpack on my lap.

JunHyung Pov

The ride there was quiet and awkward. She was quiet and lean against the door. I look at her every couple of minutes. She was really pretty even with her short hair.

“Are we almost there?” she asked and I look back at the road.

“About thirty more minutes.” I hear her sigh and lean back in her chair. She must have been really tired she went running and then gardening. I don’t even do any of that. My phone rang and I picked it up to look at it really quick.

“Hello.”

“Junnie!” she did shouted, I couldn’t help but chuckle, “What are you doing?”

“Me?” I look over MinSeul, “Go to the campsite…waeyo?”

“Why didn’t you ask me to come?”

“Because a queen should never get her feet dirty.” I held my breath from what I just said, “I’ll see you tomorrow at school.”

“Arraso…don’t get home to late.” She hung up on the other end and I put it away.  Not too long after we arrived at the place. It was an open field with cabins at almost every corner and a lake not too far from there.  I look over and she was still asleep. I didn’t want to mess with her so I got out first to take a look around.

 I went to the main cabin and talked to the receptionist. After booking the place I went and bought some water bottles and headed back towards the car, but she wasn’t there. I look towards the lake and saw her sitting at the deep end of the pier.

MinSeul Pov

When I woke up we had already stop moving. The place was beautiful the landscaping was huge. It didn’t really look like a camp site at all; more like a getaway. What caught my eyes even more was the beautiful lake; it looked endless. I could drown myself in it. Before I knew it I was at the end of the pier sitting down with my feet in the water. The sad and happy time I spent in the water.

Flashback

We were having a party on the lake of my backyard. Appa wanted to invite our new neighbors over, I heard they came from a smaller city, same place where halmeoni and halabeoji lives. Umma says that they have a son, but it doesn’t matter to me. Everyone around this area owned a business. Some of appa’s work friend brought their kids but we don’t really talk.

I went and sat on our swing and looked at the lake. I saw some swans swimming by so I got some bread from my pocket and threw the crumbs in the water for the swans.

“You shouldn’t do that?” I quickly got up from my seat and turned around. He stood in front of me with a cute smile. He wore a white blazer on top of a white tee, with blue jeans. “If you do they’ll keep coming back.” He put his hand out, “I’m Yoon Doo-Joon, your neighbor.” I looked at his hand and shook it.

“Park MinSeul, your neighbor.” He put his hand in his pocket afterwards.

“You like birds.”

“Nature…more like it.”

“So you hate human.” I laugh a bit.

“No…I just dislike what we’ve done to it…then again we are part of nature. We just left it behind.”

I felt someone sit next to me. I turn to look and saw him. He hands me a water bottle and I took it. I didn’t feel like getting mad or irritated right at the moment.

“So what did you want me to look at?” he took a sip of his water.

“Nothing really.” I didn’t say anything and just look at the water, “I actually wanted to convince you to coming to the camp. So that is why I brought you.”

“Arraso.” I sigh

“Bwoh?” he looks at me

“I’ll come to your camp get away…whatever it is.” I saw him smile from the corner of my eye.

“Can I ask you a question?” I nod, “Why do you dislike us popular people so much?”

“I have my reasons.”

“Is it the same reason why you moved here with your grandparents?”

“JunHyung-ssi” I look at him in the eyes, “I moved here to get away from my problems not to bring it back up.” I got up, “If we’re done let head back.”

“Running away won’t help.” I stop, “It will only follow you, until you face it.” I turn and look at him.

“Let me ask you a question.” He was already standing up, “Why did you comeback when it so close to graduation?” he stay quiet, “Yeah don’t think that just because I don’t associate myself with you guys don’t mean I don’t know anything. Rumors are going around about you and why you came back and why you left in the first place. Care to explain?”
