They guys stood there with their mouths open. Who’s house where they at?

“Who did you say?” ask Doo-Joon

“Halmoeni, where did you want this?” All of their heads turn and look back at the porch and recognize YeonYeon immediately.

“You can just put it on the table Yeon-ah.” She looks at them, “Excuse me I am going to go and help YeonYeon really quick. Enjoy yourself to a little refreshment.” She quickly leaves them to help YeonYeon set up the table. All the guys stares at the two guys in the back.

MinSeul and EunHye are prepping the meat and the side dishes. While JungHo and YeonYeon set up the rest of the table.

“MinSeul-ah?”

“Ne?”

“How long have you known JungHo?”

“About three years.” She looks over at her, “Waeyo?”

“Can I trust him?” she sounded sad.

“Is something the matter?”

“No…it just his friendship with YeonYeon is kind of throwing me off.” She puts the jar of kimchi down, “Did they have any kind of special relationship before?” MinSeul didn’t want to reveal that they did date before the accident about two years ago but she didn’t what YeonYeon to find out.

“I think those are the question you should be asking JungHo.” MinSeul put all the side dishes onto a huge tray, “Trust is the biggest must in a relationship. If you can’t trust your partner what is the use of being in a relationship.” She carries the tray out the back door and bumps into someone. “I’m sorry.” She looks up at Doo-Joon. He grabs the tray from her and sets in on the table outside she follows him.

“So this is where you live.” She starts to place all dishes one by one on the table.

“Ne.”

“How did JunHyung find out?” MinSeul didn’t answer, “Did you tell him?”

“JunHyung-ssi, today is a day to welcome people. I am not trying to argue with you because I am being respectful to my guests today. So if you don’t mind leave me at peace today.” She takes the tray back inside.

JunHyung and the rest of the guys were drinking punch and snacking on food.

“So JunHyung,” said DongWoon, “Why did you choose that house?”

“It less likely that people would come and bother me. It is a small house and it is only me so I decided that it will be fine. It has one other room so if you want to come visit you can sleep in there.”

“But you’re one of the rich kids why would you buy a house like that?” comments Yoseob

“Rich or poor, a house is a house. Nothing more nothing less. As long as I have a place to sleep and eat I am fine.” He can see MinSeul and the other girls working hard to finish everything.

“Okay everyone come eat!” Grandmother says, “The food is ready.” All the guys began to gather and sit at the table. MinSeul lets everyone sit before taking the last seat between YeonYeon and Gi-Kwang. Grandfather stood up.

“Thanks you everyone for joining us today for this welcome party.” He looks over to JunHyung, “JunHyung-ah welcome to our small neighborhood. It isn’t much but we hope you enjoy it. We can’t welcome you enough but we hope that you enjoy it here. And thank you boys for joining us we hope to see you more often.” He takes a glance at MinSeul, “and if any of you are interested… my MinSeul is-.”

“Halabeoji.” She whines. Grandfather laughs and everyone has a smile.

“I’m just kidding but JunHyung if you ever need anything let us know,”

“Thank you halabeoji, halmeoni and MinSeul.”

“Everyone let’s eat before the meat starts to get cold.” Everyone digs in happily. Yoseob and DongWoon looked more excited than anyone. “So what are all of your names?”

“Yang Yoseob.”

“Kang HyunSeung”

“Son DongWoon”

 “Yoon Doo-Joon.” They all introduced themselves. Doo-Joon waitied for Gi-Kwang to introduce himself but he didn’t say anything and kept eating. “Yah Gi-Kwang-ah.” He looks at Doo-Joon, “Aren’t you going to introduce yourself?”

“Why?”

“It is out of courtesy.”

“He doesn’t have to.” Says Grandmother, “We know who he is.”

“You do?”

“Of course, he is Lee JungHo’s younger cousin.” She said without thinking. They all look at Gi—Kwang and JungHo. Gi-Kwang avoided all eye contact with his buddies. “Why? You guys didn’t know?”

“Aniya.”

“It is my doing.” Said JungHo, “I told him not to reveal anything about our relation to anyone. I’m sorry for that.”

“Why is that?”

“I didn’t want us to be compared to each other because of us being family.”

“Oppa.” EunHye hold JungHo’s hand, “I understand.”

“Ahem.” MinSeul clears her voice, “Let not talk about that and get to know each other a little better.”

“I agree.” say JunHyung while looking straight at MinSeul.

After the dinner everyone was welcome to hangout. MinSeul’s grandparents went back inside to take a rest. MinSeul and JunHyung stood on the porch watching the night sky; as everyone else was getting to know JungHo and EunHye a little better.

“MinSeul.” JunHyung lean on the railing looking at her.

“Hmm.” She took a sip of her punch.

“Gomawa.” She look at him, “I’ve never been a special guest at someone else’s party before.”  She continues looking at the view.

“You should be thanking halabeoji and halmeoni, not me.” She plays with her cup, “They always do these kind of stuff; according to YeonYeon.”

“What do you mean?” MinSeul chuckles at JunHyung’s expression.

“I’ve only live with my grandparents for a three years. I still don’t know what they do.” MinSeul looks at the cup in her hand, “Then again people do change as time passes.” There was sadness in her eyes.

“MinSeul.”

“You’re about to ask me about Doo-Joon again aren’t you?” JunHyung got caught red handed and his expression said it all. MinSeul couldn’t help but chuckle a bit. “You know of my three years here you seem to be the only guy eager to find out my past.”

“Is that saying something?” he was trying to act cute.

“Yes.” MinSeul laughs a little then stops. She wonder if telling JunHyung was the best thing. “JunHyung, do you think a person should hid their past?” JunHyung stands up straight.

“Umm…it depends on the person. Some thinks that hiding their past can prove as a weakness. Some hid it because it is embarrassing, others…because they want to suppress the pain they went through.”

“Do you think it is right though?” JunHyung thought for a bit.

“Hiding is an option, but then one day everyone has to face up to it.”  He leans in his arm, “Why? Feeling like you want to confess something?”

“Remember when you ask to be friend?”

“Which time? I ask you like a thousand time.” She shove him a bit and he laughs, “Ne. ne I remember.”

“I said that in order to for me to be your friend we had to have trust. You have to trust me and I have to trust you.” He nods and she sighs, “Doo-Joon and I…were” she puffs her cheeks, “he was my boyfriend.” JunHyung was shocked but didn’t seem as surprise as she thought he would be. There was silence between the two of them.

“I guess were not that different.” MinSeul scrunches her eyebrows.

“What do you mean?”

“You asked me ask me a question the one time I took you to go see the camp area. ‘Why did I transfer back after it was so close to graduation?’” he laughs, “It because of my ex-girlfriend. I caught her cheating behind my back. I broke up with her and then left.” MinSeul just started to laugh but tries to stop. JunHyung chuckle a little bit along with her.

“Mianhae. Mianhae.” She stops and takes a deep breath, “You, a kingka, got cheated on.” She leans back onto the railing, “Wow.”

“Why do you find that amusing?”

“You’re a kingka, a good looking person, and your girl had the nerve to cheat on you. Daebak.”

“What about you? Why did you and Doo-Joon break up?” MinSeul stops for a sec before answering.

“Same reason but complicated…I’ll tell you another time.” MinSeul goes and throw her cup away, “You and the guys should be getting home. We have to go to school early tomorrow.”

“I’ll go after help you clean up.”

“It okay.” MinSeul stops him, “Just get going.”

“I only live next door, it takes less than a minute to get to my house.” After arguing about cleaning MinSeul gives up and lets JunHyung help clean. Pretty soon everyone was cleaning up.

YeonYeon was carrying all the plates inside.

“Yeonnie I got that.” Gi-Kwang takes the dishes from her, “You can go and help the girls inside we got it out here.”

“Gomawa.” YeonYeon walk inside with Gi-Kwang following her. JungHo and EunHye was doing the dishes and talking sweetly to each other. “Gi-Kwang you can go ahead and put the dishes over there.” YeonYeon went and grab her bag in the living room.

“Where are you going?” Gi-Kwans stops YeonYeon

“There doesn’t seem to be anything else to do so…I’m going to head home.” JungHo stops for a second.

“Who is going to take you home?”

“I was just going to walk.”

“I’ll take you.” Gi-Kwang volunteered. JungHo grip onto the plate he was holding. He didn’t want Gi-Kwang to take her but it was the only way. Gi-Kwang walked with YeonYeon to his car.

Doo-Joon and the guys thank the grandparents for the dinner and headed out to their cars. MinSeul walked them out.

“MinSeul,” said Yoseob, “Thanks for inviting us to the little dinner party. The food was delicious.” MinSeul smirks.

“It was nothing. And it was actually Halmeoni’s idea.” DongWoon walked up closer to MinSeul and stood by her side.

“Since Gi-Kwang hyung and JungHo hyung are family, can we at least be friends.” MinSeul turns her head and looks at him.

“I’ll think about it…I’m friends with JungHo, but I’m not on good terms with Gi-Kwang.” MinSeul crosses her arms, “But who knows you can prove me wrong.”

“That is if you give us a chance.” Doo-Joon lean on his car. MinSeul smiles and walk and stop right in front of him.

“Everyone is given a chance…some just lose it quicker than others.” She tilts her head to the side, “Waeyo? Want me to give you another chance?” She scoffs after the silence, “Arraso, I’ll give everyone a chance to change my mind.” She caught Doo-Joon smiling.

“It is settle then.” He spoke, “You will go on a group date with all of us this weekend.”

“Bwoh?”

“You said you’ll give us a chance, we’ll take that chance together.”

“Arraso.” She walks backwards, “See you guys.” She turns and walks towards the house.

“Yah! Park MinSeul!” JunHyung yells and she turns around, “Let go to school together tomorrow.” She just wave her hand and walked inside.

“Yah hyung.” YoSeob hits his shoulder, “You like Park MinSeul don’t you?”

“Aniyo…we’re just friends.”

“Jinjja?” JunHyung blushes a bit.                        

“Yah! Go home it getting late.” JunHyung walk towards his house.

"Yong JunHyung! Just tell her you like her.” He pushes YoSeob a bit with a smile on his face.

Flashack

A 15 year old Doo-Joon sit down with his father. He is a little tense while his father is kind of laid back.

“So you do like her?”Mr. Yoon asked, but Doo-Joon stayed quiet. “That is great.” He stood up with a smile. “You know what that means for us. We can benefit from this.”

“Abeoji, I don’t want to do that.” Doo-Joon refused, “It isn’t right for the both of us.”

“If you want to continue living like you are than do as I say.” Mr. Yoon sat back down, “Get in a close relationship with her. A relationship with that kind of company is what we need.”

“Abeoji…MinSeul isn’t someone that deserves a relationship that is built on lies.” Doo-Joon felt a senses of guilt for MinSeul. “She too kind and -.”

“And pure?” he cuts Doo-Joon off, “You don’t have to have feelings for her it all just for show.”

Gi-Kwang walks YeonYeon to her door.

“Gomawa Gi-Kwang.” She gives him a small smile.

“It is no problem. I just want to make sure you are safe.” He turns to leave.

“Gi-Kwang ah.” He looks back at her, “I know…that you like me.” She looks him in the eye, “but I don’t know how to return those feelings to you.” Gi-Kwang walks back and pats her head.

“Yeonnie…I’m glad you know.” He smiles at her, “I don’t want you to make a wrong decision. I know you like hyung.”She looks at him full of surprise, “You’re in pain because he is with EunHye.” YeonYeon chuckles laughs a little.

“Gi-Kwang ah, if I was to gain my memories what do you think would happen?”

“I think…you would hate me.” Gi-Kwang backs down.

“Why would I hate you?” Gi-Kwang was about to answer but he stops himself.

“We’ll talk another time. You should go inside it is getting late.” Gi-Kwang finally walks to his car and leaves YeonYeon at her door. He watches her enter her house before leaving. “Mianhae YeonYeon…none of this would have happen if I just kept everything to myself.”

MinSeul stared at her watch waiting for them. She was at the amusement park waiting for the guys to come. After much persuasion she got YeonYeon, JungHo and EunHye to tag along.

“Min-ah,” JungHo looks at her, “Are you sure they said 9?”

“Yes,” MinSeul stood up to look on her toes, “I confirmed it with JunHyung.” She sighs, “And I thought girls were supposed to be the ones that are usually late for these things.” She goes back and sat down in her seat.

“Hey, I thought you said that it wasn’t a date.” YeonYeon tried to get on her nerves.

“It isn’t.”

“Jinjja?” YeonYeon lean and shove her arm, “Then why do you look so agitated?”

“Because I am a person who does what she says. And I said 9, I meant 9.” MinSeul grabs her soda and drinks it to cover up her feelings. The three just chuckles at her reaction.

“Oh.” EunHye looks up, “Isn’t that them over there?” They all look and saw the six guys walking towards them. MinSeul stood up and storm here way over.

“MinSeul.” JunHyung walked over to her.

“What time is it?’ MinSeul asked sternly. JunHyung sighs.

“Mianhae…I had to get all the guys and we got lost on the way here.” MinSeul took a deep breath and walked back towards YeonYeon and the others. The boys follow and greeted everyone. JunHyung eyes MinSeul the entire time, but she ignores everyone and walks ahead with YeonYeon. JunHyung goes and links arm with her.

“Bwoh?” she looks at their arm and then at him. She smiles at him.

“Let go on that ride.” He drags her away towards the line of a rollercoaster. YeonYeon couldn’t help but laughs a little at MinSeul reaction. Gi-Kwang next to her.

“They are weird aren’t they?” he asked YeonYeon and she just smiles back at him.

“This is the first time I see her get drag like that ever.” She look back at MinSeul trying to get away from JunHyung’s grip.

“Kaja?” Gi-Kwang put his hand out. YeonYeon looks at it, but instead of holding his hand she links her arm onto his.

“Let’s go.” they walk away together. JungHo took a huge breath seeing YeonYeon and Gi-Kwang close to each other. EunHye notice his expression.

“Gweanchah-a?”

“Ne.” he clasps his hands with her and start to walks away. “Let go before they leave us.”

Everyone had a partner for the rides. As soon as MinSeul got on, she wanted to get off. The safety bars came down and MinSeul’s heart started to race a little as she held onto it. Doo-Joon notice this and kicks JunHyung’s seat. He wasn’t able to turn his head all the way but he was able to see MinSeul’s expression. She look terrified. JunHyung reaches out and pats her on the shoulder.

“You’re going to be fine. It is just a ride. It will be over before you know it.”

“It not the ride I am worried about.” JunHyung scrunches his eyebrows together, “It is the tunnel.” JunHyung felt stupid but he finally notice the tunnel that they had to go through before the ride started.

“I am claustrophobic.”

“You’ll be fine. Before you know it we’ll be out of the tunnel.” She turns and looks at him for reassurance.  “I’ll be right here next to you when this ride ends.” MinSeul nods and takes a huge breath.

The ride started to move and MinSeul got more scared. They approach the tunnel slowly and her breathing got heavier and heavier. JunHyung grabs her hand.

“You’re going to be fine. I’m here with you.” He smiles, “You aren’t trapped.” MinSeul nods but never let’s go of his hand.

MinSeul sat right down on a bench as soon as she got off. YeonYeon sat down next to her fanning her a little bit. The ride had so many little tunnels that MinSeul thought she would have a heart attack by the end. As soon as the ride stop she ran out and down the ramp leaving everyone behind.

“MinSeul, are you okay?” YeonYeon pats her back. MinSeul breaths in and out trying to relax herself.

“Here.” Somebody handed her a water bottle. She takes the bottle and drinks the bottle half way. She looks at the person and saw that it was Doo-Joon, “Feeling better.” She nods

“Gomawa.” She said without looking at him.

“You can relax if you aren’t feeling well.” Doo-Joon spoke softly as he squat down in front of her. Their eyes connect for sec. All the guys came and surrounded them.

“MinSeul –ssi how are you feeling?” asked Yoseob. MinSeul stood up breaking the connection between them.

“I’m alright.” She smiles, “Let just avoid the rides with tunnels and cramped up space.” YeonYeon looks at her again. “I’m fine really. Let’s not ruin this day with me.” MinSeul looked at everyone’s face “Let’s go. The sun isn’t getting any slower.” She walks away by herself, everyone slowly followed her. MinSeul took a deep breath and put a hand over her chest before continuing.

Hyorin Pov

My head and eyes hurt form crying so much the last couple of days. All I felt was hate and anger towards them. How the hell did a no one like her ended up with him? He is mine, mine.

“Ahh!” I yelled, “What so special about her? I’m the Queen of the Queenkas and she a nobody.” I talked to myself, “What does she have that is better than me.” I kicked my bed.

“Hyorin is everything okay in there.” I ignored my mom, “Hyorin-ah.”

“Don’t think you have won this MinSeul.”
