How did the week seem like a year?

It may have jut been a week, but it was unbearable. 

She woke up again, in the middle of the night. Lost, empty, lonely. The bed that once radiated with warmth and heat was now cold and stale. A reminder that he wasn't there with her. A reminder that he wasn't going to be there with her for another three weeks. She flipped and tossed around without his secure body there to keep her peaceful. There wasn't that special caving warmth in his arms that enclosed her as he circled them round her every night. The vanilla scent wasn't as strong. She didn't open her eyes to his gorgeous face. She didn't hear his deep breathing and she definitely didn't listen to the beating of his heart. She didn't feel his muscular chest rising up and down. Instead, all she heard was her own breathing, her own beating.

It was as if she never realised the bed was so big. As if she never noticed the room was so huge. To anyone, she would simply be exaggerating.

But no one would understand.

No one would understand because no one would know how it felt to be so deeply in love. No one would know how it felt to wake up to the warm brown eyes of your fiancé in the morn and feel them radiating with care and passion. No one would know how it felt to have the person you love everywhere with you. To share every moment, waking or sleeping, with the man who meant the world to you. 

To feel the cold, empty, lonely silence when he wasn't there.

Her shield, her guardian angel, her prince.

She ducked the paparazzi as they chased her around. Without him, she felt so much more vulnerable, so much more unprotected, so much more exposed. She felt weak, drained, miserable. Sure, he'd try his best to call her everyday, and he sent multiple messages.

But it just wasn't the same.

She needed all of him, emotionally, mentally.... Physically. But she obviously couldn't get that for some time.

She tried her best to ignore the pesky, annoying paparazzi as they sent ridiculous questions flying out of their mouth without thinking.

"How come your relationship is over so fast?"
