~Infinite Secret Santa 2013~ *Santas Revealed!*

For hototheya

Couple: Wooya

Prompt: Wooya on a trip to find Santa Claus

Woohyun,

I know I'm not one to usually do something like this, but it's been seven years since we got together and I wanted to do something a bit special is all, especially since the last time we had our anniversary, you got sick. So to make up for the terrible time you had last year, I decided to pull out all the stops. So don't you worry or think I'm forgetting our special day because we aren't together right now, because I'm not, but I have a few things to take care of before I meet you later. So while I'm out, I have somewhat of a surprise for you, a trip of sorts.

And on this trip, you will be given letters, clues, and pictures to lead you on a small scavenger hunt that should hopefully take you back to some of the best times we had. So please have a little fun with this and I'll see you later tonight.

Love,

Howon

P.S. Here's the first clue: Go back to where it all began.

Giving a small chuckle at Howon's letter, feeling quite touched at such a thing, especially since out of the two of them, he was usually the more romantic one, Woohyun couldn't help but smile because of the small gesture.

Letting his fingers glide across the page, following Howon's slightly indented, but somewhat messy scrawl, he smiled even more. And even after years of knowing him, years of dating him, the other man's handwriting had never really changed much. Because even now at the age of twenty-nine, his handwriting was still similar to that of a child's with how messy and somewhat unreadable it was at times. It was endearing really and knowing how much Howon didn't write much anymore except for when it came to writing out checks or doing paperwork here and there, it was a nice gesture on his part to hand write him something like this.

Going over the contents of the letter again, it looked as if he would witness a few more messily written letters on his small trip that Howon wanted him to go on for the day. Something that Woohyun didn't mind at all, so carefully trying to find some more clues written in the letter, rereading the contents a few more times to find nothing that would point him in the right direction, he grabbed the envelope on his bedside table to see if he had missed anything. Only to have a small Polaroid picture fall out from the folded paper and land in his lap. Picking up the photograph to notice a date on the back of it and two boys in the photo, both of whom were dressed in snow gear, cheeks rosy from the cold, and smiles on their faces, it was obvious that the picture was taken around winter time.

Guessing their ages to be about five or six in the picture, he couldn't help but think back to his kindergarten days where he had first met Howon. The two being paired together on the first day, becoming friends within hours, and pretty much inseparable by the end of the week. The two had just naturally gotten along, even with the differences between the two.

And looking at the smiles on their faces, he couldn't help but remember a time a couple weeks before Christmas when the class had started doing some Christmas stuff, getting ready for the holiday that year. Him and Howon having went on a mini adventure to find Santa Claus that year, an adventure that cost the both of them a couple weeks worth of grounding and some worried teachers, children, and parents. An event that would easily lead to more dangerous and fun adventures for the two later in life, particularly when it came to their college years.

Woohyun couldn't help but let out a small laugh,“Is it really that easy?”

Fondly going over the memory for a few minutes and just smiling at their ridiculousness at that age. The two being rather dumb and naïve at that time, something that wouldn't change too much with time as he was the one that would usually get them into trouble while Howon was the person that just ended up following him most of the time to watch out for him and make sure he didn't get himself or them killed. The dancer always being the one that watched over him and made sure he was okay, always being there for him, even when he got dumped by girls or broke a bone because he decided jumping into a nearby pond at thirteen would be smart without testing the depth of the water first.

So even though Howon may have not have been the most romantic person on the planet, he was sweet enough for Woohyun. And this little stunt just made that fact even more true.

Howon was definitely too much of a good guy sometimes, but he was Woohyun's, so that was all that mattered.

Grabbing his set of keys and a few other things, not really caring about how he looked right now, something he might have cared about back when he was a teenager in high school, it was something he hadn't really cared about now too much. Especially since he didn't know how long this game would last and feeling as if Howon would have told him to dress nicely if he could, Woohyun decided to just quickly brush his teeth, wash his face, and put on a new set of jeans before going out to the car, silently figuring out where he was supposed to go.

The kindergarten that he and Howon had went to was in a different part of Korea, so the huge tree they had found themselves in front of that day after traveling for a couple of hours wasn't anywhere near where they were now, but Woohyun knew where to go anyway. Because in a huge city like Seoul, there was only one tree as large and as beautiful as the one that they had found themselves on the day that they had searched for Santa, only to realize that the North Pole was too far for them to walk or take a bus too.

(That and the fact that the North Pole was about a continent away and that they probably would have gotten a bit injured if they had gotten farther than they had. Never mind the fact that they were damn lucky that no one had decided to kidnap them while they were doing such a thing. And even looking back at it now, Woohyun couldn't help but feel that the two of them were quite reckless to think that they could do that without getting hurt or getting in trouble with their parents. Their parents being so angry about what they had done that the two of them had been on house arrest for months because of it. The punishment being rather unfair at the time, but looking back at it now, Woohyun probably would have done the same thing if he had kids.)

But grinning at his genius brain, Woohyun just quickly started the car, backed out of the driveway, and went on his way to get to the edge of downtown Seoul where they housed the biggest Christmas tree every year. The tree being so tall that it towered over buildings and was filled with so many lights that you could probably see it from space, that Woohyun believed Howon couldn't be leading him anywhere else, especially since their hometown was more than a couple of hours away.

So driving to the edge of downtown, barely able to find a parking space in all of the bustle that was going on, he literally jumped out of his car and began looking around. Walking around the huge circle that usually housed the Christmas tree (a tree that would probably be up within the next week or so as people would get ready for the Christmas Holiday, ready to bring Christmas cheer), Woohyun carefully looked around to see if the stores housed any clues to where his next location would be.

Seeing nothing that seemed to jump out at him, but not one to give up, Woohyun continued to look around for as long as he could, only for his teeth to start chattering a bit from the cold. Breathing into his hands to warm them up, the appendages feeling a bit numb, Woohyun couldn't help but grin when he spotted a small hot chocolate cart situated fifty or so yards away from the circle.

Quickly making his way to the cart, five dollars in hand, Woohyun made sure to buy the largest cup of hot chocolate he could get away with. Only for the man at the cart to give him a grin and give him a letter with the words Woohyun on them. Taking the letter and the cup of hot chocolate away from the man, the man giving him a thanks and a smile of his own, Woohyun took a small sip of the drink in his hands before opening the letter open. Almost cursing Howon for hiding such a thing in such an odd spot, coloring a bit a moment later when he realized the hot chocolate stand to be deliberate as he and Howon had received hot chocolate after their daring stunt all those years ago, he felt a bit stupid.

Giving a loud laugh at how sentimental Howon was being, Woohyun began to read the contents of the second letter:

Woohyun,

If you're reading this, then you have obviously found the first clue. Good job!

I had no doubt in my mind that you would get it, but just like any scavenger hunt, it is not just complete as you have a few more clues to get through until you get to the final prize for the day. So here's another picture and I hope you'll enjoy finding the next clue just like the last one.

Howon

P.S. Hope you like the hot chocolate. ;)

Growling a bit at the dumb smiley that accompanied the clue, not even minding that this letter was a bit shorter than the last, Woohyun carefully took the photo out of the envelope and gave it a look.

Noticing the black and white keys of a piano and a few composition sheets of a song that he had written in high school, a talent that would grow into the career that he had today, Woohyun just shook his head. The picture being even easier than the last, he grinned before taking another sip of hot chocolate, letting the drink warm him from the inside out.

Bidding the man at the cart farewell and thanking him for the letter and the warm drink, Woohyun made his way back to the car with only one place in mind.

Woollim High School.

While on the other side of the city, far away from Woohyun, Howon was having a mental breakdown as all the plans that he had made for that day were falling through by the second. Because while Woohyun was busy with the scavenger hunt, the only thing that seemed to be going well that day so far, the second half of the day's events weren't going well at all in the slightest. And Howon was in a bind that he never saw coming, especially when everything had started out so well, but was now getting ruined because the chef he had paid to cater tonight's dinner had to cancel on him. As well as every other chef he had on back-up for the night was either too busy with other clients or just couldn't help him until at least tomorrow at the earliest, the dinner being too late by then.

So he needed someone or something to cook him dinner within the next hour or so, but was coming up with nothing as he went through his list of contacts and found no one suitable to do such a thing and save him from having to propose at a nearby ramyun shop instead. A prospect that Howon didn't want to happen for such an important and special day, a day that was supposed to be absolutely perfect that it would make Woohyun want to say yes to the question that he wanted to ask. Proposing was already stressful enough without the mishaps that were happening right now and with the thought of him asking Woohyun if he wanted to get married to him in a small ramyun shop as they ate ramyun and drank soju seemed to make everything worse.

Ramyun shops may be cheap and romantic dates when they were teens, but they weren't really appropriate for what Howon wanted to do. Because while Woohyun would probably just be happy with the thought of Howon proposing to him, Howon also wanted Woohyun to remember this day for the fond and romantic memories the two had with a fancy dinner instead of the ten dollar meal that the two were used to having during their college days. Especially since Howon had planned to propose to Woohyun during dessert where they both had champagne and ate crème brule, Woohyun's favorite after dinner dish.

The dessert being the most important part of the meal for that evening and the event that Howon had spent days practicing for. And now, because he couldn't get someone to cook for him and make him some crème brule, everything was going to be ruined. Something that he didn't want to happen, especially since his nerves were taking a nose dive and he felt less and less confident about asking Woohyun to marry him.

He couldn't ask the other now when everything was falling through like this.

So putting his phone and speed dial and calling his mother, someone that could possibly make this better, or at least comfort him, he waited for her to pick up the phone.

Hearing two rings before the sound of her voice, his mother answering with, “Howon, how are you? Why are you calling me? Isn't it your anniversary with Woohyun today?”

Wanting to almost cry at his mother's voice, Howon could only shakily say, “Mom, everything's going wrong and Woohyun is going to be here soon and I-I can't do it mom. I was going to propose to him and everything and it was going to be perfect. We were going to eat all his favorite dishes and the space I had rented out for the night was going to make everything seem so fancy with all the candles and the smooth jazz I had picked out and it was going to be one of the most romantic dinners ever. And Woohyun would just say yes when I would propose to him, too happy not to do so, but-but now, everything's ruined.

The cook had to cancel on me and all my back up plans have fallen through and I can't cook to save my life and none of my friends either and I'm doomed mom, doomed. I can't do this, I can't ask him to marry me if we end up having ramyun or some other cheap dinner I can get on such short notice. And because of this, he's going to say no, he's going to say no and I-I can't take that mom. He can't say no. I want this to happen, I really do and just everything is not going how I had planned it. What do I do? Please tell me what do I do?”

Hearing his mother sigh on the other end of the phone, his mother could only reply, “Howon, honey, everything is going to be okay. Just take a deep breath and calm down. It's not going to do you any good to get worked up over such a thing like this, especially since Woohyun's going to love whatever you and him end up doing. It's the thought that counts rather than how perfect and great it could be, especially since he would probably think the whole thing was romantic anyway if you explained to him that your actual dinner plans had fallen through and that you still tried to make everything perfect. Really, Woohyun's a reasonable young man and he's not going to get mad because you couldn't make him his favorite foods. He's not like that.”

“You really think that?” Howon couldn't help but ask, heart still beating a mile a minute as anxiety ran through him. His mind trying to be rational about everything, but failing as it kept on thinking of all the terrible things that had happened that day so far.

“Yes, Howon. I do. Woohyun will love anything you do, so just calm down.”

“But what about the food mom, we can't have ramyun.”

“Howon, just go to the store and get a precooked chicken and some side dishes and a dessert the two of you will like. It may not be five-star material, but it will be better than you getting some ramyun, okay?”

Taking another shaky breath, Howon asked, a bit incredulous, “That's going to be okay? You think that will be fine for the dinner?”

“Yes, it will be more than fine and if you really have a problem with what has happened, just explain to Woohyun about what happened to your actual plans. He'll understand and will like the dinner anyway. Seriously, just take a few deep breaths and everything will be fine. Woohyun will say yes to you asking him to marry you, so you really have nothing to worry about. You're just letting your insecurities get the better of you when you don't need to be insecure. That boy loves you and he'll love whatever you do, so just take a deep breath and cheer up okay? He probably already knows you're going to propose to him anyway, so no need to worry.”

“You think that? You really think he's going to know? Have I really been that obvious?”

“Howon, you've been together for a long time now and have been friends for even longer than that, so it was only a matter of time before you or he popped the question. So really, if it wasn't you, it was going to be him. And if he does know and hasn't left you, then it's obvious that he'll say yes. He wants you and you want him, alright?”

Letting out a shaky laugh, feeling a bit better about everything, his mother doing the trick, Howon gave a somewhat relieved reply, “Thanks mom, I get it. Thanks for setting me straight.”

Howon could only hear his mother's smile in the phone, “You're welcome honey, now hang up the phone and get your man. I definitely didn't raise you to be like this.”

“Yes, mom, hanging up now, love you too.” Howon rolled his eyes at her words as he finally hung up the phone, feeling less anxious than he had moments ago when he had been freaking out.

Taking another deep breath to calm the rest of his nerves, he tried to smile.

So dinner may not be as fancy as he wanted and they were going to be stuck eating grocery store food, but it was better than nothing and Woohyun would still say yes. Because Woohyun would understand and love what he did anyway, or at least he hoped he would.

Woohyun,

Good job on finding the last clue and figuring out where we will meet. But first things first, I want you to go back home and clean up a little before meeting me. Please wear something nice, we'll be having a somewhat special dinner tonight, so look your best.

I also called for a limo to pick you up at 6:50 as dinner will be served at 7:30, so be ready.

Love

Howon

Smiling at the last letter he received, Woohyun carefully folded the letter and put it back into the envelope and stashed it with the rest of the letters and clues he had received that day.

The scavenger hunt being a lot of fun and wonderful trip down memory lane as he remembered a lot of great and fun times he and Howon had throughout the years. And it was no wonder why they had been going out for seven years and had been friends for longer than that.

Howon was a good man that he happened to click with, that he happened to love, and he couldn't think of anyone better suited to be his lover than the dancer. Howon always knew what to say to him and always treated him right and was just all around a good person to him. And out of all the relationships he had, Howon was the only one to make his heart flutter and hammer in his chest, even after all these years. Because even as their relationship had settled, Woohyun still felt as passionate and caring towards Howon as he had felt since day one.

Smiling a bit at his thoughts, he quietly looked at his phone for the time and knew that he needed to get back to their house and get ready. Already knowing what he was going to wear, mentally picking out slacks, a red button down shirt, black tie, and suit jacket, Woohyun was going to be dressed to the nines for his man. So starting up the car, he finally made his way home.

He even had just enough time to pack his and Howon's suitcases for a small trip to Hawaii for a few days, his present for the other man. A present that was going to be romantic and fun as the two would learn how to surf, take dancing lessons (something Woohyun knew that Howon would love), and see quite a few amazing sights that would just make the trip more than worth it.

So picking up his speed just a bit, he couldn't wait for the rest of the night.

Howon was nervous, but he was ready, at least as ready as he could be with everything that had happened that day.

He was going to propose to Woohyun and even with the last minute problems, Woohyun was going to love everything he had done for this day anyway. (That's what he told himself and kept on getting himself to believe by muttering 'Woohyun's going to say yes' a thousand times in his head as he did his best to do what his mother had told him and continue to get everything ready for the night.)

Dinner was not going to be the thing that ruined this night.

Nothing was going to ruin it.

Giving one last look in a nearby mirror of the establishment that he had rented out for the night, Howon turned to a taller man nearby who looked like a waiter, “Dongwoo? How do I look?”

“Great Hoya, Woohyun won't know what hit him.” Dongwoo replied with a small smile on his face as he squeezed his friend's shoulder, trying to ease the other's nerves.

Howon had recruited him and another friend, a bit of a clumsy fellow really, by the name of Myungsoo for the night. (Myungsoo being one of the only people in his friends list that actually said yes without hesitation at being a waiter for him because that's what friends did. But Howon thought it was because Myungsoo liked romantic things and just wanted to see Howon and Woohyun be all romantic and play out some shoujo fantasy of his, but that was beside the point. Especially since Myungsoo was working for free, unlike some of his other friends (Sunggyu, Sungjong, and Sungyeol) who had all wanted him to pay them for their services. Real friendship right there, so even though Myungsoo was clumsy as hell and was probably getting a lot more out of this than say Dongwoo, the kind soul that he was, Howon couldn't complain.)

“Yeah, Hoya, Woohyun's going to have hearts in his eyes and he's going to say yes and you guys are going to get married and eventually have kids and it's going to be awesome.” Myungsoo chimed in from the other side of the room, the man too busy making a heart out of the candles in that area as he thought the room needed a bit more of a romantic touch to it.

Candles in the shape of a heart basically equaled romance to the kid, even though it increased Howon's fear of Myungsoo burning himself or the building down whenever the other found himself trying to make things look better than they already were. But he wasn't going to say anything to the kid until it really looked like he was going to brain himself, injure himself, or possibly kill himself and the rest of them, so he let the other be, but just kept an eye on the kid just in case.

Letting out another shaky breath, he muttered, “Thanks you guys.”

“No problem. We know how nerve wracking this is, so whatever we can do to help, we'll do it.”

Nodding towards the other, Dongwoo's words making him feel a bit more calm about everything, he couldn't help but ask, to finalize everything before Woohyun would be there, “You and Myungsoo know what to do, right?”

“Of course Hoya. We've known what to do for weeks now, so stop your worrying, alright?”

Feeling a bit embarrassed at that, especially since this nervousness wasn't exactly like him, he managed to give a hesitant smile, “Okay, okay, I get it. I'll stop now. You guys are going to do great and Woohyun's going to say yes.”

“Just don't let him drink the ring when dessert comes and you'll be fine.” Dongwoo's words making Myungsoo laugh.

“I won't.” Howon muttered, somewhat appalled at such a thing, but still silently hoping that wouldn't happen. He barely managed to scowl at them before he gave one last look around the room.

In front of him, warm jazz music was playing in the background, there was romantic lighting because of the candles that were in place along the room, and the tree in the corner of the room, decorated in reds and golds, like Christmas had come early, Howon was quite satisfied with how everything had turned out. And in the center of it all was a small table that held two champagne glasses, sets of silverware, dishware, and a couple of red roses as a centerpiece.

The roses were Woohyun's favorite flower and Hoya couldn't resist getting the man a few, even if the flowers weren't his thing.

But if he was going to be romantic, then he was going all out.

Woohyun was definitely going to love this.

So taking one last deep breath to calm himself down, he heard the sound and saw the headlights of someone arriving at the venue through the windows. Knowing that that it was his boyfriend, his stomach put itself in knots again before righting itself again when he saw Woohyun step out of the vehicle with a smile on his face. The scavenger hunt obviously being something that Woohyun had fun with and was hopefully impressed by what he had done so far for him.

His heart could only swell with joy.

Turning to Myungsoo and Dongwoo, giving them the signal to get everything together, the two quickly made their way to where the food was placed and quietly prepared themselves to help Howon throughout the night.

While outside, Woohyun was looking every bit as good as usual and just looked so damn happy with everything that Howon really had nothing to worry about. He would propose and Woohyun would say yes and then the two would just do what Myungsoo said. They would live happily together and Howon would just continue to fall for the other more and more every day.

Taking in the sight of his soon-to-be-fiance, he couldn't help but feel warm at the sight of Woohyun, the man seeming to outdo himself in every aspect with how he looked that it made Howon appreciate him even more. His heart feeling like it was beating a thousand miles a minute, but the thought of Woohyun going to be all his by the end of the night if everything would go well just made him even more excited and nervous all at once.

Going to the door to let Woohyun in and show him to the where they would be eating for the night, he couldn't help but let out a breathless, “Hi Woohyun” as soon as he saw his boyfriend.

While Woohyun just gave a soft “Hello” before closing the gap between them and giving Howon a well deserved hug and kiss to the cheek, “Missed you today, but the scavenger hunt was really fun.”

“I knew you would like it.” Howon admitted and quickly pulled Woohyun into a short, but sensuous kiss.

He could feel Woohyun's grin against his lips, the gesture making his heart hurt in a good way, that he gave one last nip to his boyfriend's bottom lip before pulling back with a smile of his own before leading the other to the dining area.

Woohyun's eyes just widening at the sight of the room that he couldn't help but turn to Howon with a look of amazement on his face, “This looks really great, I can't believe how beautiful this looks. And the candles of the heart over there looks really cute.”

Getting an image of a smirking Myungsoo in his head, Howon just cleared his throat, “Uh... Yeah, great right?”

Woohyun just nodded before Howon realized that he should lead him to their table and get Woohyun settled in, only to clap twice after doing so to call Myungsoo and Dongwoo into the room. The gesture easily confusing Woohyun before he brought his hand up to his mouth to chuckle into it when he noticed Dongwoo and Myungsoo, dressed in waiter garb, come into the room with a spread of delicious looking food and some champagne, his favorite champagne.

Howon was really putting a lot of effort into this and Woohyun couldn't help but feel special and loved for such a thing.

Swiftly setting down the plates in front of the two men, Dongwoo uncorked the champagne and poured it into their glasses before setting the rest of it in an ice bucket that would be situated at the side of the table. While Myungsoo served them their food with a smile, “Dinner is served, please enjoy the meal.”

“Yes, thank you.” Woohyun replied while Howon gave the two a small thumbs up when his boyfriend wasn't looking, Woohyun too busy being awed by everything that Howon couldn't help but smile even wider.

“You're welcome,” Dongwoo supplied before grabbing Myungsoo and guiding him out of the room, only to be seen again when it came to serving dessert.

Turning his attention back to his boyfriend, Woohyun couldn't help but ask, “Okay, how did you get them to do that?”

“Secret.” Howon gave with a small smirk before pointing to Woohyun's glass, “Have a taste, I made sure to get your favorite.”

Taking a small sip and savoring the rich, yet decadent, taste on his tongue, he almost moaned at the taste, glad that Howon could remember such things.

“This is marvelous, exactly how I like it. Sweet and bubbly and just lovely.” Woohyun mentioned before taking another sip and indulging in it.

Out of the two of them, Woohyun was the wine and champagne connoisseur and would know if Howon had messed up. However, Woohyun seemed to be more than enjoying the drink by the sounds he was making and the way he seemed to almost drain the glass. It was more than hot and Howon couldn't help but blush a little at where his mind was going before mentally slapping himself for the images.

That could happen after he proposed and when Woohyun had said yes.

Suddenly feeling self-conscious, only to realize that even though the food looked good and that Woohyun was enjoying the champagne, the food was still grocery store food and could possibly make or break what he was going to do.

“Good, I'm glad you like it and uh, I have something to confess, not anything bad, but the dinner might not be up to par with everything else, but things happened and I did my best to still make everything perfect, so hopefully you like it and aren't going to-”

“Howon, I'm sure it's perfect. We could have cardboard and I would still love it. It's obvious that you've put a lot of work into this and I appreciate that a lot. So really, it's not a big deal, especially since I'm sure the food will be great anyway, so let's just eat, shall we?” Woohyun interrupted as he took Howon's hand in his and giving him a small smile, telling him that everything was alright. The gesture calming Howon enough that Woohyun took his hand back and motioned for Howon to dig in and stop worrying so much about the meal.

Everything was perfect, and Woohyun just wanted to make sure Howon knew that.

While Howon could only give a thankful nod to his boyfriend as he mentally scolded himself for being so worried about such a stupid thing that he quickly followed Woohyun's orders and took a small bite.

From there the two began their meal, approaching comfortable conversation and laughter as they ate. Howon finding himself laughing at Woohyun's antics and stories he had about the scavenger hunt that day, while Howon exchanged subtle hints of what his day had been like too, occasionally making self-deprecating jokes. Telling him how great his mother was during a crisis or how he got Myungsoo and Dongwoo to agree to dressing up as waiters in the first place, making sure to mention how greedy Sunggyu was, the older man being Woohyun's other best friend. Woohyun just laughing at that and telling him that Sunggyu had always been that way and if he thought the guy was going to do something like that, then he had another thing coming.

The food doing nothing to deter the two from eating their fair share of it, Woohyun even going so far to tell him how great the vegetables were, something Howon knew had to be Woohyun being nice. But Howon appreciated it all the same, and days from now, Woohyun would probably mention how the food actually tasted, but would recall on it fondly before giving him kisses and making out with him as if they were shameless teenagers again.

Smiling into his chicken, it wasn't long before he and Woohyun were close to finishing the meal that Howon started having jitters again. The two having gone through two bottles of champagne by then and Howon still felt nervous, the liquid courage having no affect on his nerves.

It was now or never.

But doing his best to ignore that and be confident, he quickly clapped again for Dongwoo and Myungsoo to come out and remove the dishes from in front of them to set down some chocolate cake from a nearby bakery and a small bottle of dessert wine for the two to share. The two smiling as they did so, almost as if they had some sort of secret or something up their sleeves, but luckily Woohyun didn't notice that too much, a bit tipsy from all the champagne he had drank earlier. Howon almost wanting to sigh in relief at that and scold the other for being so damn happy about what was going to happen.

“Dinner and dessert, you're really outdoing yourself, what's the special occasion?”

Howon just shrugged, “I just wanted to make it special,” as he carefully, yet sneakily, took out a ring from his blazer pocket and slipped it into Woohyun's glass before pouring him and Woohyun a glass of wine. Howon getting ready to make the toast that would change the rest of his life, especially if Woohyun said yes.

Giving a shaky sigh, trying to shrug off the nerves, Howon requested, “I have a toast,” before staring at Woohyun, making sure he had the other's undivided attention before going on, “For seven years we have been together and I have always loved you, even when things were bad and we fought and were stressed and didn't always know what we wanted in life. Even times where I wanted to throttle you for being who you are, but not once has that stopped me from loving you, from wanting to be with you, even though others probably wouldn't be able to take it, but I could. I always could, because I loved you.

“Because every day, every adventure we had, I always found myself falling deeper in love with you and I just can't find it in myself to stop doing such a thing, and even now I don't think I could ever fall out of love with you either. Because I just can't stop loving you like I do, because even though there are times where you make me angry and infuriated, you are also the type of person that always makes me feel wanted and loved and whole. You-you complete me and even though it took me a long time to really realize these feelings, feelings that I've had about you forever, feelings that I'm sure you've had about me forever too. Us being like two peas in a pod, us being together like this, I know I'll never want anyone else. You're mine and I love you and I want to be with you forever, okay? So let's do that. Let's toast to that, alright?”

A bit shocked at Howon's words, but feeling more than happy and in love and just so god damn thankful to have a man like Howon in his life. A good man who could still surprise him after so many years, support him, and just be like this all the time, Woohyun couldn't help but tap his glass against Howon's and softly say, “Forever.”

The two finishing the toast with smiles on their faces. Woohyun slowly draining the small amount of liquid in his glass before feeling something cool and metallic touch his lips. Wrinkling his nose in confusion, stopping what he was doing to see what he had just touched, noticing a platinum, engraved engagement ring at the bottom of his glass, he almost had a heart attack.

Eyes widening at the object and warmth spreading throughout his entire body and his heart hammering hard against his chest, he slowly grabbed the ring from the bottom of the glass and asked, “Is this what I think it is?”

Howon could only give him a hopeful look, eyes filled with love and wanting, he quietly replied, “Yes, yes it is,” before taking the ring from Woohyun's shaky grip.

This was it, the moment he had been waiting for.

Pushing his chair away from him so he could get down on one knee, he held the ring out as he stared straight into Woohyun's eyes and asked, “Woohyun, will you marry me?”

Letting the question ring in his ears, Woohyun felt as if he couldn't breathe, chest feeling unnaturally tight.

Howon had just asked him to marry him.

Howon who was his soulmate, his second half, had just asked the question that Woohyun had wanted to ask for a while now, but was too afraid to ask.

Howon had did all of this for him, had made sure everything was perfect, was more than memorable, and Woohyun knew he couldn't say no.

He didn't want to say no.

He loved Howon, had always loved him, and would love him forever.

He could only say one thing:

“Yes! Yes, I'll marry you. I-I'll really marry you. Oh, god, yes.” Woohyun laughed as soon as the words came out, shaky but filled with happiness, before letting Howon put the ring on his finger and grabbing him and pulling him close to give him a kiss for doing such a wonderful thing.

Wrapping his arms around the other man, and pulling him into a fiery, passionate kiss, that showed everything that Woohyun felt and more, Howon could only kiss back, just as excited. Teeth quickly finding Howon's lower lip to slightly bite into the flesh, the sensation giving the other man shivers along his spine, and making him want to kiss his fiance even more. Woohyun's hands grasping Howon's shirt so tight that it was going to wrinkle, while Howon's just attached themselves to the back of Woohyun's hair to bring him even closer, grasping onto the strands and pulling on them just enough to get Woohyun groaning into his mouth. Howon deepening the kiss until he felt close to bursting and just needed to tell the other how much he loved him.

Pulling away from the kiss with a small nip to Woohyun's bottom lip, panting a bit from the kiss, Howon's face was lit up with happiness, his heart was close to bursting with love, and just filled with so much awe for the other man, Howon couldn't help but whisper, “Love you, I love you so damn much.”

Woohyun could only return the smile, breathing just as hard from the kiss they had just shared, “Love you too,” before bringing his boyfriend – no fiance into another kiss.

The two leaving the wine and dessert forgotten as they continued to to kiss each other for all they were worth.

Good thing Woohyun's plane tickets had a late leave time, because with how things were going, neither of them were going to do much else.

A/N: So I'm sorry that I didn't really expand much on your prompt, but I did write a short scene about it in this, so hopefully the sheer length of this oneshot makes up for it a bit. I'm not much of a Wooya writer/shipper, but I did my best at writing them anyway. So Hopefully you liked this and had fun reading at the very least. :)

StarlightSpirit: THE FLUFF! This was so sweet that I got cavities but it's also so adorable and perfect and cute and I don't ship Wooya but this was still amazing! Great work! :)
