"I'll go before your very accomodating housemate sees me and throws another tantrum" Minseok said with apparent sarcasm.

"Minseok-ah,  I already told you that he's just--" I defended.

"Yup. I was just kidding," he said in another one of his boyish grins "see you tomorrow!"

I waved goodbye at his retreating figure before opening the door to my house.

"You're home" Kai sprung up from the sofa to meet me, only to disappear halfway through the living room.

"Oh no" I gasped, freezing in my position.

Aish, it's so annoying when I can't do anything about his episodes. My only choice is to wait until he returns and hope that he's safe.

It's been four hours. I am in desperate need of sleep, but in even more desperate need to know that Kai is safe. Aigoo, why even bother, Haneul? Because I'm...responsible for him now. As his guardian. Yup.

"Just a guardian" I nodded to myself in agreement before giving way to a huge yawn.

Man, I really need to sleep.

Toss. Turn. Toss. Turn. That's all I could do in bed. Somehow, my anxiety is stronger than my drowsiness.

All that was left on the spot are pieces of torn fur.

I looked all over the closet and around the room. It was nowhere. But I just left it there after I spoke with Kai about it! And I took good care of it through all these years so that the fur won't shed.

I checked the living room, the kitchen, everywhere. Where could it be? I don't remember putting it anywhere else. Kai is the only other person who knows where it is.
