You weren't grumpy doing the same routine you do everyday anymore. Now, whenever you wake up, you would smile and think about Kris. You became even more excited to go to school so that you can see him.

You heard your phone ring as a message popped out. You grinned at the message. "Good morning whatever~"

You chuckled at the nickname. You knew he was just joking. Just who in the world would call someone 'whatever'.

You immediately got out of your bed and threw something at Kris's window. Kris noticed it as he pulled the window up and smiled at you.

"Good morning, Kris!" You beamed, waving at him.

It was a nice day. The feeling on your heart was such a great feeling you've never experienced before. It was amazing. Ever since you and Kris became together that night, you couldn't help but smile. You couldn't help but remember the fluffy things he did to you. Most of all, you were looking forward for more.

Who knew falling in love would be this amazing...

"I wanna come over and hug you and kiss you!!!" Kris shouted, wanting the whole world to know. You blushed shyly. There he went again. Whenever he say cheesy things to you, it just makes your heart melt and makes your legs wobble. "Shut up! Aren't we going to school?"

"Let's skip school today! Let's go on our first date!" Kris suggested as your heart did the flip flop thing again.

"Really? But..."

"No buts! Just wash up and meet me downstairs!" Kris said, giving you a flying kiss. You held your smile back as you immediately went to the bathroom to wash up.

"Good morning!" Kris greeted your parents as your parents did the same. But something was off. Your parents weren't the same who are cheerful.

"Is there something wrong?" Kris asked curiously.

"YOU ASK WHAT'S WRONG?!" Your mom hollered. "YOU KNOW WHAT'S WRONG!" Your dad added.

It made Kris surprised as he stepped back and held his hands up in surrender.

"Wh-what did I do wrong?" Kris stuttered halfway. His hands already on the door, ready to leave.

"YOU..." Your mom gritted her teeth. "YOU..." Your dad clenched his fists as they both went closer to Kris.

Suddenly, their expressions turned into a cheeky one.

"When will we see our granddaughter?" They said in unison which made Kris gawk and frozen on his position.

"I... I never..." He stuttered. He didn't get what was going on.

"YOU NEVER WHAT?!" Your mom's expression changed into the old one again and so did your father's.

"YOU NEVER USED PROTECTION? THAT'S GOOD. YOU GUYS GO TO THE HOSPITAL NOW AND LET US KNOW IF IT'S A BOY OR A GIRL-"

"MOM! DAD!" You stomped your feet down the stairs as you tripped on the last step. Everyone rushed to you.

"Are you alright?" "Is the baby alright?"

You almost choked on your own spit, hearing the last question.

"Mom! Dad! What are you all talking about!" You asked in confusion.

"You see... your dad saw you having...you know... with Kris..."

Slowly, you and Kris glanced at each other with stupefied expression plastered on your faces. Soon, you both burst out into laughter.

"HAHAHAHAHA. What?! We never... we never did that!"

"Are you stupid, mom and dad? We're not even married yet! We're still dating!" You said between your laughs as your parents' eyes widened in surprise. "You're dating now?!" "That's awesome!" They cheered.

Ever since you were young, all they wanted for you to end up with was Kris. They all know Kris is a good guy and someone who's worth loving for. Knowing that the two of you are now dating and somehow managed to know your feelings, they were happy.

"So Kris, when is your parents coming back?" Your dad asked as all of you went to the dining room to eat breakfast.

"This week. They're pretty excited to meet you and your wife. It's been a long time." Kris said.

"It's good to know you guys are already dating! You both suit each other a lot!" Your mom said as you blushed.

It was already late at night. The both of you rushed to the rooftop to watch the fireworks.

Your first date?

It was so different. It wasn't the usual and cliche dates. Instead, you spent your day with Kris as the both of you played basketball. He taught you how to play it and at a short amount of time, you fell in love with the sport.

"Just like the old times!" Kris yawned as he laid on the ground. You also laid down with your head on Kris's arms.

"Oh there it is!" The fireworks started playing and it was so beautiful especially seeing the stars in the backround.

"So beautiful~" You mumbled while watching. Suddenly, Kris turned his head towards and and watched you in amusement. "Just like you." Kris said which made you look back at him.

"Kris, there you go and your cheesy lines again." You pinched his nose and chuckled.

Kris went closer to you as he placed his forehead onto yours, leaving an inch as a gap.

Your heart beat in an unbelievably fast manner as you felt electricity running through your spine. You could almost hear your own heart beat.

Kris grabbed your hand and placed it onto his chest. "Can you feel it?"

It was beating so fast.

"You know what, Nana? You don't know how happy I am now. After all the hesitations, after all the struggling that I encounter when I still do not know my feelings yet, after all the pain that you gave me when you left for America... I... I couldn't be happier. It was all worth it knowing that in the end, you'll be with me." Kris confessed.

You were tad shocked. "You were hurt too when I left?"

"Yes. You do not know how much."

"Because I also did get hurt. I don't know why. I know I treat you as an enemy before. But somewhere in the back of my mind, I knew I would miss you." You looked into his eyes and you were getting lost into it. His eyes were full of emotions that couldn't be expressed into words.

All of a sudden, he crashed his lips onto yours, a tear sliding down his cheek.

You didn't hesitate to kiss back. It was such a wonderful feeling. Kissing the one you love.

You felt like your heart would burst anytime soon.

In the backround, the fireworks were still playing.

Kris pulled back. "I'm so happy to have you by my side now, my Nana." He said, brushing your hair as he held you closer to his chest.

You inhaled his scent and snuggled closer to his broad chest.

"I'm more than happy. I love you, Kris." You looked up at him and noticed that a tear was dwelling up on his eyes.

"Hey, what's wrong?" You asked, wiping his tears away. "I'm just happy. Can you repeat it again? Say I love you to me again."

You chuckled. "I love you i love you i love you..." You kept on repeating it as Kris closed his eyes to savor the moment. "I love you." You stopped saying it when you noticed Kris with his eyes closed.

"It feels like music in my ears, Nana." Kris said.

You sheepishly grinned as Kris opened his eyes and stole a quick peck on your forehead. Next to your eyes, then to your nose, then to your cheek, and he stopped at your lips.

When he did that, you felt your heart drumming so fast.

"What was that? You're kissing my whole face-" You were cut off as Kris smiled at you.

And then he crashed his lips onto yours again, stopping you from talking.

"I love you too." He said between the kiss.
