I was awaken by the grandpa clock again.

Today is the vampire ball and today is Saneel's disappearance. I haven't told anybody.

Knock! Knock!

"Good morning miss." A maid entered my room. She's likely a vampire with her white skin and cold aura.

"Good morning"

"The masters told me that you have to take your bath and start dressing up now. Many visitors are starting to arrive." I think she's referring to the concil.

"Eh? But the ball is still tonight and its still 9 am"

"I apologise but the masters words are absolute. Please follow me."

She took me to a wide pool. I definitely stink! I haven't taken a bath since I got here.

The pool was kinda scary. Different mythological statues were there. The water comes from the huge mouth of a dragon. I dip my whole body in the water. It was cold. I didn't mind the statues.

I scrub my body well. I want to look presentable so that my dad would do his part after the ball. That is, if I'm still alive.

I got to think things through today.

After the bath, I wore the dress given by the maid.

It was a pure white linen dress with one big black ribbon. It was frilly at the end. It is cute!

The maid also gave me black high-heels. I think it was 2 inches. Honestly, who wears this type of shoes!

Then she placed a rose attached to a black ribbon on on my neck. Afterwards, she tied my hair and added another rose. This time it was a black rose.

"Why is it black?"

"The masters only told me to place this in your hair miss" Fine! That statement again.

After dressing up, she took me to an unfamiliar room. It was like  alounge for VIP's. I seated. "Please stay here until the masters call for your presence." "Okay." She left locking the door again. I know they don't trust me yet and so do I.

'Alone again huh?' I thought.

"Peek-a-boo!" I heard someone shout from behind.

"Chryst! Stop scaring me!"

"Would you look at that! The human looks beautiful!" he smirked at me as he look at me from head-to-toe.

"Human? You always call me Andy. What gives?"

"Nothing in particular" He went to my back and touched it. "Look at yourself" He pointed to the window and I could see mine and Chryst's reflection in it. "The maid didn't allow you to see yourself in the mirror right? Be amazed on your warmth human."

"Am I really?" Well I was caught in the moment. This is the first time I got dressed up like this. I was beautiful. The dress hung perfectly around my waist.

"Too bad your lover can't see you look amazing today" and I saw him smile from behind. "Lo-Lover? What are you talking about Chryst?" I backed away from him.

"Stop playing with me Andy. Everyone knows that you fell for Euljis a.k.a Jun Blackard. You're stealing Lady Saneel's lover." his eyes turned bright red again. It was like going to pierce me from inside out.

He offered his hand to me. I was surprised.

"Let us proceed to the ball now as your father ordered." Though it was out of my mind to place my hand. I did. His hand was cold like Jun's but I prefer Jun's hand more.

As we walk through the hallways, I realised that a lot of vampires are already aroung and staring at me. I was a human and they could destroy me as they want to. I grip Chryst's hand. I was getting intimidated with all the scary stares from them.

What could be the outcome of this ball?

There was a ballroom song playing in a big room.

I think it's a dance hall. Well I was in a balcony-like-place and I could see a lot of vampires below. Honestly? It was kind of scary to look at.

"Dear guests, on behalf of the council... " I heard my dad speak from below, "let me introduce the girl Lady Saneel chose, my daughter - Andrielle"

Flashes of light focused unto me. Chryst pulled me and we started walking down through this long big staircase. It's like a fairy tale scene, although my prince is not here.

I managed to get used with the shoes but I couldn't manage all the vampire stares.

Reaching the ground floor, my dad was smiling at me, but it's not a smile of happiness rather a smile of being pleased.

One by one, the vampires knelt in front of me, dad and Chryst. That was unexpected.

My dad broke the silence saying, "let us enjoy the day and night my friends. Today is the day to celebrate!" And everybody stood up.

Chryst pulled my arm again, "We're going to dance!"

"I don't know how to and I don't want to!" I tried resisting but it was no use. "Don't worry I'll lead."

He grab my hand and placed on his shoulders and his hand on my back. His hand were freezing. We danced with the other vampires in the court but I didn't look at them.

"Let me guess what you're thinking... You're thinking of Jun aren't you?" he grinned at me..

"Not really" I answered. Yes Jun was part of my mind but I have to focus on knowing the truth first.

It was already 11pm and he party was still ongoing. I was tired already when my dad entered the ball again and everybody was looking at the thing after him. Seven maids were carrying a big-kind-of-pillar. It was most likely an altar. Everybody moved to the side to let the maids enter with no problem. They placed this in the middle of the room.

"Tonight, the main purpose of this ball shall occur!" Dad's voice was scary. He turned to me. "COME"

Wait a second! Is there another purpose of this ball?

I slowly started walking to my dad's direction though my legs were starting to wobble and every stare of these creatures were nerve-wracking!

He offered his hand and I accepted it. My mind was thinking too fast and I couldn't adjust back my breathing. He started walking holding my hand tight. He was never like this. Although, I wasn't really close with my mom and dad. It was more like I really never knew them because they always made the excuse of being in a trip.

"Lie down here" he brought me to the altar-thing

"What is this? I thought I only had to attend the ball?"

"Wrong! You agreed to follow all my words so do it!"

There was a chill to my spine and I slowly walked to the altar and lied down there.

They're planning to kill me right? But why?

I could hear whispering sounds but it wasn't clear. I closed my eyes in the hope of talking to Saneel herself. No use! I could only see darkness.

I felt someone touched my wrist and ankle. I immediately opened my eyes and saw Chryst tying my ankles with chain and Elli was making a knot of chains to my arms! Elli pulled my resisting arms and tied the chain on the top-most part of the altar."Let me go! Elli! Chryst!" but they continued putting chains to my thigh, upper chest, abdomen, knees, elbows and neck.

"Sorry Andy, I have to follow their orders like Chryst. I'm really sorry." She whispered will locking the chains.

Then someone blind-folded my eyes. I couldn't see but I could hear laughter, chats, whispers, and running.

My eyes were starting to get wet. I pity myself for going here alone.

"We will now wait for the full moon to shine to its fullest and Lady Saneel will then be revive!"

Ta-thump! Ta-thump!

They plan on reviving Saneel?

My breathing got heavier by the minute and I couldn't escape! My heart was crazily pounding!

In my 16 years of living, this will be the worst event po happen to me.

People I trusted continually fooled me and my life was plainly to revive the dead, how great is that? This !

I still want to attend college, have a perfect tiring job, get married and tour the world!

But everything's going to end tonight.

Jun's face was only on my mind and he was slowly walking away.'Please help me!' But he didn't turn around and look at me...

I am so alone and scared now...
