"Please take me away from here Jun. Take me somewhere peaceful" I was startled hearing Andy say these words but I don't want to qustion her. She was half-crying already.

I carried her and she placed her head into my chest.

The breeze was as cold as me. I decided to take her to the sea. I think she'll calm down with the sound of the repetitive waves.

When we landed, she take a looked at the sea then squezed me again.

"Are you alright? You seem out of your usual self Andy" I asked her.

"Yes... I mean no.. "  Her voice was shaking non-stop.

"Andy... Tell me what's wrong" 

"Everything I believed in was not true... Are you also going to fool me Jun?" Her question startled me.

"No. I'll protect you." I hugged her with my instincts consent. I'm not her lover but I want to protect her in my arms.

"The family I believed in was not my family. My present parents are part of the council and my brother Noa is half-vamp and half-human"

"That's really contradicting to know"

"Also, Elli is a vampire.... daugther of the Fieldgem clan and..."

"and..?"

"Her parents murdered my real human family" I could see she wasn't used to saying those kind of words. She's shivering.

"You're scared of us aren't you" I lowered my voice.

"I'm scared of trusting anyone now and also..." there it goes again, her voice was shaking intensely and her eyes was getting wet again.

"What is it Andy?"

"I love you.." She kissed me and I kissed her back. I then realised my true feelings. "I love you too..." but she broke apat from my arms.

"I love you so I will tell you that I know who killed you and who you really care" I got confused with her words.

"The man who injured my thigh was the same one who killed you Jun. You're real name is Euljis and a vampire lady named Saneel was the one who turned you into a vampire"

"You mean Lady Saneel?"

"Yes. She's your original lover who allowed that same guy killed her and I.... I have part of her soul. You don't feel anything for me Jun... It's Saneel who you're seeing in me. She's my past life and even though you've forgotten your past human life... I know you still love her." She stood up. I don't know how to respond.

"Andy?"

I was surprised as she removed the ring I gave her.

"Please take it. I don't want to have anything to do with creatures like you. I want to forget you as soon I possible can!"  She pushed me aside and started running. I squeezed the ring on my hand and just stared at her running. Her footsteps were gradually disappering with the waves.

The moon was not in its highest peak. The sky was dark.

Even though she doesn't want to see me, it doesn't change the fact that she confessed her feelings to me,

I love her not because of my past or that she has part of Lady Saneel's soul. I don't care of it anymore. I want Andy to return to my side.

For the hundred years of living as a 19 year-old. I've never felt love up until now. I've made my resolve. I followed her though she would get mad if she sees me but she didn't even turn around. I saw her doing email stuff and talk on the phone. After that she started packing up things and going out again of her house. I continued following her. She ride in the train. I think she's going to the Council's mansion. She was staring at a couple before closing her eyes.

I wanted to comfort her.

I sat in one end of the train, not letting her see me. The ride was long and I just keep on looking at her sad face.

Arriving there, she went out and eat - well, it's the basic rule in being a human right? And I saw her talking to a soul. It wasn't dangerous so I just stepped back and watched her. It was already late and I realise that Andy was able to comfort the soul until the last second of her soul existence. She talked to an old man and I listened attentively. I couldn't sense the old man's form. He might be a vampire but he left early and Andy started walking her ath again and up until now.... I've managed to follow her...

I will protect her even in the shadows...
