Cho Kyuhyun’s pov

“Don’t you remember that you’re the one who begged me to let you redeem your fault?” I replied. “Babo. What are you thinking? Why are you still coming here everyday with this condition? How if someday I came home from work and I found you lying unconscious on the floor?”

“I told you I’m fine! So you don’t need to worry if someday you’ll find me lying unconscious in your apartment. No one will ask for your responsibility!”

“Do you need me to remind you that you came here often? If there’s something bad happen to you I’m the one who’ll get blamed at. If only I knew your condition since the beginning I will not let you to step on my apartment!”

And I realized I’ve just said something that sounds so wrong the moment I blurted the words out. I can see Shin’s angry expression turned into an expression… an expression that can even make me hurt myself.

Yes, I am angry. I’m angry and disappointed because she hides her disease. For God’s sake, I’m not a bad jerk. If I know that she is suffering from her heart disease I won’t make her do all the cleanings. I can’t believe she took the risk to worsen her heart condition by coming here everyday.

I also feel so sorry towards Shin. I remember how I act so cold to her just because she accidentally hurt my arm. I remember that I even ask her to come here once to cook for me when she is not feeling well. Oh my God.

Imagining Shin hurtingg and getting symptoms in this apartment alone. I will never forgive myself if there’s something bad happen to her. No, I will not think about that.

What I want to tell her is that if only I will treat her better if I know about her condition earlier. But the feelings of anger, disappointment, sad, and guilty were mixed up and I blurted out something that sounds so mean.

Now I even hurt her.

Before I could think of anything that could possibly fix my fault, Shin stood up and dashed to the living room.

No, Shin. Let me clarify this.

But it’s too late.

Leaving the dining room, Shin dashed to the living room picking up her bag, then I saw her tossing the apartment’s key on the sofa and she left after wearing her heels quickly.

My body feels weak when I heard the banging of the door in front.

Damn it. What did you just said? Won't let her step on my apartment? You jerk. You hurt her.

You’re such a jerk, Cho Kyuhyun.

As Shin walked out from the room, it feels like she walked out from my life. And I could only sitting there like a babo while guilt slowly comes into my heart.

NEXT DAY

Shin Min Jung’s pov

“Sunbaenim! What are you doing?” Jung Hee approached me and take a seat beside. She leaned closer to study my face. “You…. Cried?”

I shook my head. “Aniyo.”

“Then… why does your face looks swollen and your nose is red?” She asked carefully.

Darn it. Is it that obvious? “Allergy.” I waved off.

“Ah… Then, why do you come early today? Don’t you usually have something to do?”

“Starting from now on, I will come early.” I put on a smile. I don’t have to come to his apartment again starting from now on.

Junge Hee didn’t say anything for some minutes. She looked hesitated, but then she asked “Sunbaenim… Are you fighting with someone? Someone special?”

“Aniyo. He just doesn’t need my help anymore.” I replied.

“Ah… ‘He’?” Her eyes’ pupils got larger.

Aish. I know what she is going to say.

“Who is he?”

Geez.

“I won’t tell a single person. I swear.” She put both fingers in the air.

I was searching for some reasons so that I don’t have to tell her when Dong Wook oppa approached us. “Annyeong. What are you girls doing here and not practicing?” He took a seat beside me.

“I’m mentally practicing.” I replied.

Dong Wook oppa and I exchanged glance, and he smiled a bit. He turned towards and said, “Seems like it’s the sub-dancers turn to practice. Seonsaengnim said you guys are still lacking for the fourth scene.”

“Oh, arasseoyo, sunbaenim.” Stood up and left after looking at both Dong Wook oppa and I with curious look.

”Alright. So it’s only two of us now.” Dong Wook oppa adjusted his sitting position so that he could sit face-to-face with me. “What’s wrong?”

“Eh? Nothing.” I replied, avoiding his gaze. I don’t know how but Dong Wook oppa can always easily knows when I have problems.

“Oh, come on, you can fool everybody else, but not me.” He smiled.

Then I started telling him everything, knowing that his words is true.

CHO KYUHYUN’S POV

“Yah! Hyung, why don’t you do it properly?!” I scold Ryeowook hyung who is dancing one step slower than everybody else.

“Neo wae geurae*?” Eunhyuk hyung glanced at me. “we are practicing, it’s okay to make mistakes.”

“He’s not focus! It ruined the whole performance.” I replied.

“Mianhae.” Ryeowook hyung said.”Let’s practice one more time~”

“Yah~ Have you not ever make a mistake before?” Donghae hyung tapped my back and signaling us to go back to practice.

“So you guys are saying it’s my mistake? I cannot scold Ryeowook hyung because he is a hyung?”

“Kyuhyun-ah, wae geurae?” Zhoumi hyung turned his head, looking at me.

“You’re being so sensitive. Are you out of your mind?” Eunhyuk hyung walked closer towards me.

I look at the hyungs’ faces. I am getting more stressed. “Dwaesseo. I don’t want to practice anymore.” I slammed the door, leaving the room without saying much.

“So… do you want to tell me what makes you in a really bad mood today?” Sungmin sit on the chair, facing me.

I had ramen after I got back from practice, then I go to my room and don’t get out anymore.

“I am not in a bad mood.” I ignored him and continue playing the game in my laptop.

“Then, what happened in the practice room earlier? Give me an explanation.” Sungmin crossed his arms.

“Ryeowook hyung just can’t do the movements right so I just told him to do it properly.” I replied.

“Geojitmal*. I can see you’re not emotionally stable since Min Jung left your apartment yesterday. Maybe what Hyukjae told you is true, you’re probably out of your mind.”

I choose to ignored him because I don’t know what to reply.

“What happened to both of you? Did you guys fight?”

Aish. I exit the game and turn off my laptop, knowing I won’t be able to concentrate anymore after Sungmin asked me about this.

“So you guys did fight…” Sungmin shook his head. “What did you do to her?”

Letting out a sigh, I told Sungmin the whole situation that happened yesterday.

”Then you should find her. Talk to her and explain.” Sungmin said.

“How am I supposed to explain when she ignored all my texts and calls?” I replied with frustration. I have been sending endless texts to Shin. I said I am sorry, that I won’t ever do it again, that it was all my fault and I will explain everything when we meet, but she ignored it all. I have been trying to call her too, but she rejected all the calls…

“Find her. She must be practicing her ballet, or maybe she is in her company.”

Ballet. Why I didn’t think about that? I look at the small calendar on my desk.

“Sungmin-ah, do you know when her ballet performance will be held? Isn’t it in the end of January?”

“It supposed to, but Jung Hee told me that it was postponed for some reasons. It’ll be on the second week of February, so next two weeks.”

“When is the date?” Even if she tries to hide, I can still meet her during her performance.

“I forgot. Do you want me to ask?”

“Sure! Gomapta, Sungmin-yah~!”

SEVERAL DAYS LATER

“Did you finally found her today?” Ryeowook hyung asked as he poured me a glass of water.

I apologized to him the next day after the ‘practice room’ accident, and he already knew what happened to me. Long story short, there are no misunderstandings between us and everything is back to normal.

I just went back to dorm after my ‘daily searching’ of Shin. “Nope. The receptionist in her company said that she didn’t come recently, and that Dong Wook guy… he always insist that Shin is not there. I am sure Shin is there, practicing for her ballet performance.” I told Ryeowook hyung.

“Maybe you should just sneak into the backstage.” Eunhyuk hyung said, that is followed by a smack on the head by Kangin hyung.

“Yah, how does Kyuhyunnie sneak into the backstage? How if the dancers are changing their outfits?” Kangin hyung said, and all the members giggled.

“Yah~ Yah~ Kyuhyun-ah, look.” Donghae hyung showed me his phone. “Yoon Hee said there’ll be an orchestra show this weekend, and she will be there together with Min Jung.”

“Let me see.” I snatched his phone and read his text.

“Yah~ Don’t read my text!” Donghae hyung snatched it back in no time. “I’ll read it for you, but don’t read my texts.”

I rolled my eyes. I don’t even want to know what Donghae hyung is texting to his girlfriend, I know it’ll be like super cheesy…….

“So, Yoon Hee said she is attending an orchestra show this Saturday with Min Jung. The venue is in the same building with the one Min Jung is practicing at. 7PM show.” Donghae hyung said.

“This Saturday. 7PM.” I marked the calendar on my phone. “Gomawo, hyung~~”

SHIN MIN JUNG’S POV

“The show will start at 7PM. How about grabbing something to eat?” I told Yoon Hee.

We’re going to watch an orchestra show, but we came too early and no one is here yet…

“Oh, geurae.”

Both of us take the elevator to go to the basement where there are several foods stands. “Chamkkan, I need to go to the toilet.” Yoon Hee said as soon as we reached the basement.

“Oh.” I nodded and look around the stands.

Aww, the french fries look tasty! Yoon Hee likes it too, should I buy this for her?

“Just until when you will avoid me?” I turned my head to that familiar voice that I haven’t heard recently.

I’m surprised seeing him here but I could manage my expression quickly. “What are you doing here?”

“Shin…” He took a deep breath. ”Look, I am sorry. It was all my fault. All. I know I have been rude, I wasn’t supposed to say that. Mianhaeyo. ”

I couldn’t help but look into his eyes, and all I can feel is sincerity. Ooh, Shin Min Jung. You can’t forgive him easily like this.

“You shout at me that time.” I tried to put my flattest expression.

“I know. I am sorry…. I wanted to say that if only I know about your condition earlier, I wouldn’t have made you to do all the work in my apartment. I… I am really sorry.” He continued.

I didn’t say anything and just look at him.

“Aish. I prepared all the words I am going to say before I came, but… I just forget it all when I meet you.” He scratched his hair awkwardly with his left hand, while he hid his right hand on his back.

Gosh, he looks adorable. I know I supposed to be mad at him but I don’t think I can do it now.

“Oh! Kyuhyun-ssi, you are here?” Yoon Hee came back from the toilet at that moment. “I thought Donghae oppa is the one who’ll come.”

“So, Shin… Forgive me?” Cho apologized once again.

“Oh, really, what can I do to make you feel better?” I almost laughed at his guilty and nervous? expression on his face.

Seems like Cho knows what is in my mind. He grinned and said, “So my apology is accepted?”

“Just, never do it again.” I replied.

“I swear I will never do it again.” He copied my words, and took out a bouquet of baby breath’s flowers. Ah, he has been hiding it all the time on his back.

“For me?” I asked. “Who else?” He smiled and I can see Yoon Hee rolling her eyes on the side.

“Gomawo.” I said. “Now it’s almost 7PM, should we get in?”

“Oh, I don’t come here to watch the performance.” He shook his head. “I’ve got to go for my schedule, annyeong~” He waved and was gonna leave, but then he took one step backwards and say, “Shin Min Jung-ssi, please make sure to reply my text and answer my call starting from now on.”

I smiled. “Arasseoyo, Cho Kyuhyun-ssi.”

He waved a bit and left.

“Oh, Min Jung-ssi, he is in love with you.” I heard Yoon Hee said.

“It’s not like that.” I denied, but I can feel myself blushing.

“He came all the way here just to apologize. And you, haven't stop smiling since you saw him. To be honest I have never see you smile-not even once this whole week. Hmmm, I smell something here…” Yoon Hee crossed her arms.

I can't stop smiling. I know- I realized that I have forgave him even when the first I saw him coming.

This chapter is longer than usual~ hope everyone likes it^^ Oh! Happy EID Mubarak (in advance) for my Moslem readers! I'm off to South Korea (yes, South Korea!) for vacation starting tomorrow until August 5, so I won't be updating (probably) until the mid of August (exams also coming after holiday)
