SUPER JUNIOR’S DORM

11:20PM

CHO KYUHYUN’S POV

I just realized that I didn’t even bring the dorm’s key when we arrived in the dorm. I have to rang the bell- which wake Sungmin and Ryeowook hyung up.

Sungmin lend Min Jung his warmest fur jacket and Ryeowook made her a glass of hot chocolate.

“Min Jung-ah, are you okay?” Sungmin looks so worried. I noticed that he keeps on looking at Min Jung.

Min Jung nodded and tried to smile a bit. “I’m feeling better now.” she said. “Oppadeul, sorry to wake you guys up.”

“Don’t mention that.” Ryeowook hyung smiled and sit beside her. “You can just tell us if there’s anything you need.”

“Oppa, gomawo.” Min Jung replied.

Ryeowook hyung patted Min Jung’s back and asked her to finish her hot chocolate.

“Oh, and where will Min Jung sleep tonight?” Sungmin said.

“We don’t have empty room left but I can ask Donghae hyung to sleep in Eunhyuk’s room tonight so Min Jung can sleep in Donghae’s room?” Ryeowook said, sounding not sure.

“It’s okay. This would be too troublesome for all of you. I can just call my friend and sleep in her apartment.” Min Jung said.

“But it’s almost 11:30PM now, your friend might be asleep already.” Sungmin replied.

I was just gonna said that Min Jung can sleep in the new apartment downstairs when I heard Donghae hyung’s voice.

“Yah~ what are you guys doing at this time? Not sleeping?”

All of us turn our back and see Donghae hyung with his sleepy face. He rubbed his eyes several times before walking towards the dining room.

“What are you guys talking abou- oh? Min Jung-yah, what are you doing here?” Donghae hyung said as he pulls a chair and sits beside me.

Donghae hyung closed his eyes and let his chin rests on his hands.  “What are you guys talking about? You even invited Min Jung?” Donghae hyung mumbled.

“Her house is on fire, so Kyuhyun went to save her.” Sungmin said.

“On fire? Oh. On fire…” Donghae hyung mumbled. “Mwo?! On fire?!” Donghae hyung opened his eyes.

“Hyung, drink some water and wash your face. You’re still sleeping, I think your soul is not here yet.” Ryeowook hyung said and handed him a glass of water.

“Ani… I mean, Min Jung-ah, your house is on fire? How…? No, are you okay?” Donghae hyung got up from his chair and stand beside Min Jung. “Stand up, let me see.”

“Stay calm, okay? We checked her already. Donghae-ah, you’re so late.” Sungmin said.

“Oh, mian. So what can I do now?” Donghae asked.

“Hyung, you can accompany Min Jung to my apartment downstairs. I will hand you the key.” I said.

“That new apartment that you bought last 2 years? But I thought it’s still empty?” Ryeowook hyung asked.

“Here is the key.” I said as I handed Donghae hyung the new apartment’s key.

I look around and grab my pillow. “Actually we don’t have spare pillows here, so I’ll just lend her mine.”  I handed my pillow to Donghae hyung and take out a spare blanket from the cupboard. “And this blanket too.”

“Which means, you will sleep without your pillow tonight?” Donghae hyung asked- I can’t see his face anymore now because he’s carrying a super thick pillow plus a big pillow in his hands.

“Yep, and don’t tell Min Jung it’s me who lent her the pillow and blanket. ”

“Eh? But why?”

LEE DONGHAE’S POV

“Alright, you should sleep now. or do you want me to tell you a bedtime story first?” I joked as I covered Min Jung with a blanket.

“You don’t need to.” Min Jung replied.

“Okay, goodnight. You can always rang our dorm’s bell when you need anything.” I said.

“Donghae-ah, don’t go.” Min Jung said.

I look at her and I see she’s holding my left hand.

“Don’t go. Stay here.” She said. Her eyes are starting to get teary.

“Arasseo. Uljima.” I sit on the edge of the bed. “Uljima, oh?”

“I… I… I’m so stupid. How come…  I don’t even realize that…that… the smoke have entered my house? I kept on sleeping… If….  If only the housemaids didn’t….didn’t…. wake me up, I would have just died…inside…” Min Jung cried.

“It’s alright now. Uljima..” I wipe her tears and pats her arm.

“I didn’t even bring anything. I didn’t bring my phone or other important stuffs… I…” Min Jung sobs and cries even harder.

I don’t know what to do so I just keep on patting her.

Min Jung is so quiet when she is in the dorm, but she broke into tears now. I know I should let her cry to vent all her emotion.

“Uljima, oh? Everything is okay now. don’t worry.” I wipe her tears.

Min Jung sobs and nodded.

I her hair and look at her.

Min Jung may appear strong outside, but she is actually weak. She will never cry and broke in front of others. It’s even rare to see her cry.

“Donghae oppa…” Min Jung said, in a very low voice.

Eh? Oppa? She is calling me oppa? even though I’m 2 years older than her but she has never call me ‘oppa’ before-except when she wants something for me or when she really need my help, but it’s so rare.

“Oh? Wae?

“Don’t go.” She said. “Stay here. You can only go when I’m asleep.”

“Arasseo. “ I replied. “Don’t worry, I’ll stay here. You can sleep now.”

Min Jung nodded and closes her eyes, trying to sleep.

I look at her and realize that she is still holding my left hand. I try to let go of her hand but she is still holding it so tightly. “Oppa, don’t go.” She mumbled.

It’s 2AM now.

I walk back to the dorm with the rest of my strength, lock the door and go to my room.

Min Jung must be really tired, but she is still in shock that’s why it takes so long for her to fall asleep. She doesn’t want to sleep because she is afraid of the fire.

I stay on her room for an hour after she falls asleep; to make sure she doesn’t need anything.

I turn off the lamp and lay on my bed. I should get some sleep now because I need to take care of Min Jung later.

Ah, they said the women who always appear strong in front, who always have smile in their face, are actually the weakest. They just don’t wanna show their weaknesses in front of others so that others won’t be worrying them.

I close my eyes and trying to sleep, while hoping that Min Jung will get a good man who will understand, appreciate and love her, in any condition.
