“So the salesman said they’re going to send the Christmas tree tomorrow, right?” I asked while arranging all the groceries we bought.

We went to a supermarket nearby before we went home.

“Yep.” He nodded while walking into the kitchen and stand beside me.

“Shin, what are you going to cook for dinner?” Cho asked while rolling up his sleeves. “Let me help you with the groceries.”

“Hmm, I’ll just cook jajangmyeon and mushroom soup for tonight.” I replied.

I don’t know whether it’s only my feeling, but Cho’s attitude towards me has changed a bit better since… since when? I don’t know myself…

“Shin, the water is going to spilled out.” Cho said, and before I realized what’s happening, he reached out his hand to help me to close the water tap.

I freeze for some seconds.

Cho Kyuhyun is standing right behind me, and his left hand was holding a plastic bag full of groceries so when he was about to close the water tap, he automatically needs to leans his left hand on the table to support himself. And he used his right hand to close the water tap.

It somehow feels like a back hug…

Yes, that’s only a one second inadvertent action. But why does my whole body freezes now?

Now I am standing awkwardly not knowing what to do…

“What are you daydreaming of, Shin? The water is going to spilled out. Didn’t you say you’re going to make soup? Why is the water so full inside the pot?” Cho asked, distracted my mind. Nah, since when he has stood beside me?

“Uh…Oh… Yeah.” I replied awkwardly while trying to avoid his gaze.

Babo. What did I replied? Uh Oh Yeah? What on earth is that?

Cho smirked and walked away. “I’ve finished putting all the groceries inside the cabinet and refrigerator. I’ll wait for the dinner in the living room.”

“Oh… Okay.” I said.

Aish. Cho Kyuhyun…

Next Day, December 22nd 2012

CHO KYUHYUN’S POV

Ah… what time is it?

I opened my eyes lazily and look at the clock.

It’s 8:23AM.

The smell of tea sneaks into my room when I open the door.

“Shin is here.” I think and it automatically brings a smile on my face. Don’t ask me why, because I don’t know.

Or I refused to think, to be exact.

“Shin?” I called.

There’s no answer, so I decided to walk to kitchen. I will surely found her there.

But she’s not there. I look around, and heard a small sound of classical music playing from the living room. Is it Shin?

I walked towards the living room, and see her there.

She’s dancing ballet. Well, not dancing, practicing, to be exact.

I don’t want to bother her so I stepped back a bit and decided to peep her from the living room.

Shin does some hard ballet movements, and then she stops and thinks for a while. She tries some other movements, tilting her head to the right like trying to remembering something, and practices again.

I crossed my arms and leaned on the wall, smiling.

It’s my very first time seeing her dances, and even if it’s not really a dance, it looks interesting to me. I feel like I can stand here for hours seeing her dances.

Shin continues her practice, not realizing that I am here.

She tries several movements before she does the turn movement, and right when she turned to me… “Oh!” she gasps.

Before she could control her move, she falls down out of her shock.

I walked towards her and offer my left hand, trying to help her.

She held my hand. “Good morning~”

“Good morning~” I replied, pulling her up with all the strength I have with my left hand. Ugh. My left hand is really weak… Only if I’m not injured I will hold her with both of my hands…

“Gomawo.” She blushed. “You saw it?”

“Hmmm.” I said, tilting my head to the right as if I’m thinking hard. “I’ve been watching for like… 1 hour?”

“Oh?” Shin’s eyes widened. “But I’ve just start practicing for like 30 minutes ago?”

“I’m just joking.” I ruffled her hair softly. “So you listened to my CD without my permission, huh?”

“Hehe, mian. I thought of asking your permission after you wake up. I love classical songs. Your CDs have all the nice songs.” She said happily.

“My noona gave it to me. She’s a violinist so she listens to classical songs a lot.”

“Ah… I see.” Shin nodded.

“I can accompany you to CD store if you want. Err, I mean, if you want to buy the CDs.”

“Sure, let’s go together later!” She smiles. “Now let’s have our breakfast, should we?”

I nodded, and when we are about to go to the kitchen, I just realized that we are still holding hands… but weirdly, it feels right to hold her hands like this…

Should I let go?

Should I…

“Oh, mianhae.” Shin lets go of my hand quickly and looked apologetic. “Mian.”

Before I could reply anything, she walked away leaving me behind.

And I have to tried so hard to prevent myself to walk after Shin and grabbed her hand back…

Next Day

SHIN MIN JUNG’S POV

I just woke up when the sunlight sneaks in between the curtains.

Ugh… What time is it?

I fumbled the small table beside my bed. Where did I put my phone yesterday? Where- Oh, here is it.

I clicked on the button and peered. 7:15AM...

I’ve been sleeping for 8 hours… daebak…

I don’t even take my pills yesterday.

I hug my bolster as I rolled to the left. The Christmas tree we bought arrived in the evening yesterday. After having our dinner, we spend 3 hours decorating that small tree.

Well, or you can say, I am the one who decorated, while Cho is just sitting beside me listening to my lecture about Christmas and also replying to my questions about which Christmas hanging should I hung next.

“Is this one nice? Or this one better?”

“I think the silver one better.”

“But I love the gold one more! I will just hang this.”

“Geez… why even bother to ask me if you won’t listen to my opinion.” Cho mumbles.

I laughed remembering our so not important small fights. Aish, Cho is really...

Oh! Saying about Cho, I just remembered that I need to go to his apartment today. The members are having schedules so I told him I’ll be going to his apartment to made him breakfast.

I get out of the bed as fast as possible and rushed to the bathroom.

CHO KYUHYUN’S POV

Shin is making us breakfast when the bell rings.

“Shin, I’ll open the door.” I said.

I looked at the small LCD monitor on the wall. Eh, isn’t it Donghae hyung’s girlfriend? Why is she here?

“Annyeonghaseyo.” She greeted as soon as I opened the door.

I was about to greet her back when she asked, “Is Min Jung-ie here?”

“Oh, yeah. She is making breakfast. You can just go in.” I said, while taking two steps back to let her in.

“Gomawo!” She comes in and took off her heels.

“Is Min Jung in the kitchen?” She asked when I invited her to sit in the living room.

“Ne. Err, do you want some tea?”

“Nope, thanks.” She smiled. “ I’m here to see- YAH SHIN MIN JUNG!”

Her voice is so loud I think my eardrums are going to explode soon. What is she doing in other person’s home early in the morning?

“Oh, Yoon Hee-ah!” I see Shin putting the dishes on the table before she walked towards Donghae hyung’s girlfriend – which name is Yoon Hee- and hugged her.

“Yah! Where have you been? I haven’t seen you for a week!” Yoon Hee-ssi said.

“Mian.” Shin grins. “I planned to go to the company today after breakfast. You know I’m so busy because of the ballet performance.”

“Arasseo. Anyway, don’t say you forgot that eommoni is going back from Jakarta tomorrow.”

“Ah, matda! How could I forget that…” Shin tapped her forehead.

“Aish, this girl. Let’s go together tomorrow. I’m going to fetch her too.”

“Geurae!”

“Can I go too?” I asked.

The two girls are looking at me with indescribable expressions.

“Why?” Shin raised her left eyebrow.

“Does eommoni knows Kyuhyun-ssi too?” Yoon Hee-ssi asked.

“Well, I’ll just introduce myself to her later. I have something to say to her.” I replied, while pulling the dining chair and sit on it.

“And what is that?” Shin asked.

“You’re going to live with me starting from now on. Because your mom is so busy, and to prevent any accident, it’s better to live with me, right? Oh, and you said yourself that you are going to help me until my hand recovered.”

“Mworago?!”
