CHAPTER 9

 

 

Ryeowook was busy reading a thick book about the Baroque music, while Jongwoon is busy staring at her body. He was staring at her long legs and beautiful . Ryeowook was too busy to notice him drooling as he stares at her; Jongwoon move closer but she ignores him, he then touch Ryeowook’s

 

“What the hell are you doing to me?”

 

Ryeowook hit him with her book

 

“Yah! I have the right to touch you, because you’re my wife now”

 

Ryeowook removes her seatbelt and stand but Jongwoon hold her hand so tight before she could move to another seat.

 

“You’re not going anywhere, babe”

 

Ryeowook look at him seriously; Jongwoon just smile to . She goes back to her seat, frowning at him.

 

“I want to jump on the plane”

 

“Go ahead, so you’ll die, and I can marry another woman again”

 

“I never want to marry you from the start”

 

“Me too”

 

Jongwoon sigh as he looks at Ryeowook

 

“I hate you”

 

“I still don’t love you until now, and I will never love you”

 

“I will hate you for the rest of my life, dog that is stuck on a turtle body with small fingers”

 

Jongwoon hold her chin and stare at her seriously

 

“You’re so annoying alien girl, watch your mouth”

 

Jongwoon kiss her; Ryeowook push him away

 

“ERT”

 

“Just tell me you like it, no need to play hard to get”

 

“YAH!”

 

“Aish, you’re being noisy again”

 

Jongwoon kiss her lips again before turning around and sleep

 

 

 

 

 

The newlywed couple arrives at the airport; the Kim’s family driver fetches them and drops them to their hotel. Jongwoon went out of the limousine and went to their room leaving Ryeowook, carrying their heavy luggages. When she arrive at their room, she sees her arrogant husband lying on the bed with his pajamas while watching TV happily; Jongwoon notice her standing at the doorway, he looks at the clock and smile at her.

 

“OMO, you’re late babe, two hours have passed”

 

“You didn’t even help me to carry the luggages; you let me carry all our things. It’s so heavy and you didn’t even tell me which room we are going to stay”

 

“If you’re smart you suppose to ask someone to help you, and ask the receptionist about the room. Silly alien girl”

 

Ryeowook stare at him with teary eyes, Jongwoon smile brightly

 

“Oh no, my babe is crying”

 

“Shut up!”

 

“You change your clothes now, and lay on the bed with me, and let’s have our first night”

 

“Who told you that we’re going to sleep in one bed together?”

 

“That’s normal between husband and wife, to sleep on the same bed together”

 

Jongwoon smile to .

 

“You sleep on the sofa”

 

“No way! Hey don’t play hard to get, ok? We’re already married, it’s normal to sleep on the same bed”

 

“But this marriage is such a joke”

 

“So what?”

 

“I really hate you Kim, Jongwoon”

 

Jongwoon stand and walk towards her

 

“I never love you babe, and that day will never happen. Shall we start now?”

 

“What the hell are you talking about?”

 

“Why do you always need to play hard to get? Don’t worry babe, I will be gentle, you won’t experience any pain”

 

Jongwoon start ing his top; Ryeowook kick his manhood causing him to fall on the floor and curl like a cocoon because of pain

 

“Ni zheme xiaozhang wo zhen de hen ni” (You’re so arrogant I really hate you)

 

“You’re go…going to reg..ret it al…ien girl”

 

Ryeowook immediately run inside the bathroom and lock the door; she lean her back on the door and sigh

 

“OMO, what have I done?”

 

Ryeowook start shaking her head

 

“Han, Ryeowook, you’re a dead meat now. I’m sure that arrogant, short-tempered man is mad at me for kicking his...his...his...AIGOOOO!!! This is so terrible, my life is miserable now”

 

Ryeowook’s heart start beating fast when she heard Jongwoon knocking on the door.

 

“Hey alien, get out of the bathroom. We need to have a duel, go out, now”

 

Ryeowook bite her lips

 

“Aigoo! What will I do now?”

 

Ryeowook opens the shower

 

“YAH! I told you to go out!”

 

“I’m having a shower here”

 

“Shower? If you won’t get out after five minutes, you’re going to die Han, Ryeowook! GO OUT, NOW!”

 

Ryeowook turn off the shower and sigh

 

“He’s a monster, I’m so scared”

 

She lean her face on the door

 

“I’m not going out! Hear that? I’m not going out”

 

“YAH!”

 

Jongwoon start knocking on the door again

 

“Open the door, get out of the bathroom and we shall have a duel”

 

“Just shut up, how can you fight with girls?”

 

“You’re not a girl, you’re an alien; not even human”

 

“Guess who is speaking? You’re not also human, pabo! You’re a dog with a turtle body!”

 

“You’re really making my blood boil!”

 

“It’s not my fault if you’re a short tempered dog”

 

“SHUT UP!”

 

Jongwoon keeps on knocking

 

“I won’t open the door, even if you knock it down”

 

“YAH! GO OUT!”

 

“Even if you beg or cry, I won’t open it”

 

“Fine, then sleep there”

 

“Fine”

 

Ryeowook pout; Jongwoon sigh and sit at the corner, waiting for her to go out of the bathroom

 

 

 

 

Two hours had passed since Ryeowook locked herself inside the bathroom, she sit on the floor, hugging her knees as she felt so cold.

 

“Jongwoon”

 

She calls out his name; but there’s no response

 

“JONGWOON-AH”

 

She makes her voice even louder, hoping that he will hear her; but still, there’s no response

 

“KIM JONGWOON!!! I’M CALLING YOU!”

 

Ryeowook call out his name for the third time, but still no response from him

 

“Is he still awake? Maybe, he’s already sleeping”

 

Ryeowook sigh and knock on the door

 

“Kim, Jongwoon, are you still there?”

 

Jongwoon knock on the door as his answer

 

“Are you willing to go out now? How long do you plan to stay inside? I need to pee, ok?”

 

“Then do it outside”

 

Jongwoon cough

 

“Do you really think that I’m a dog?”

 

Jongwoon can hear her laughing

 

“What’s funny?”

 

“You’re so cute”

 

“Shut up; just go out now, so I can use the bathroom”

 

Ryeowook shook her head

 

“What if I don’t want?”

 

“YAH!!!”

 

Ryeowook start laughing again

 

“Are you doing this on purpose? Stop teasing me, I’m going to kill you if you will not stop giving me head ache”

 

“PABO!!!”

 

“YAH! AISH!”

 

Ryeowook smile

 

“I will go out in one condition”

 

“What?”

 

“You won’t do anything to me, ok?”

 

Jongwoon smirk

 

“What will I do to you? I’m not a fool to a twelve year old kid like you”

 

“I’m not a kid; you just told me awhile ago that you’ll kill me”

 

“Why will I do that? Pabo”

 

“Just promise it”

 

“Fine, I promise. Just go out and let me use the bathroom”

 

“Say please”

 

“Please”

 

Ryeowook smile and opens the door; she stares at Jongwoon, who is sitting at the corner, waiting for her to go out.

 

“You can use the bathroom, now”

 

Jongwoon stand up and walk towards her; he stares at her beautiful face and move closer, Ryeowook close her eyes

 

“Please don’t kiss me”

 

Jongwoon smirk and remove the dirt on her face

 

“Why will I kiss you? You’ve got dirt on your face”

 

Jongwoon smile before going inside the bathroom

 

“That was close”

 

Ryeowook sigh and jump on the bed

 

“Finally, the bed is mine”

 

Ryeowook smile and stare at the ceiling

 

“I hope everything is just a dream”

 

Ryeowook lie down on the bed and hug a pillow, she switch the lamp on and sleep peacefully.

 

 

 

 

 

Next day...

 

 

Ryeowook was busy putting some lotion on her gorgeous body, while sitting on the bed when Jongwoon enters the room, and was shock to see her wearing only her underwear and bra; Ryeowook immediately grabs the blanket to cover her body.

 

“You suppose to knock first, before entering the room”

 

Jongwoon raise his eyebrow while staring at her

 

“This is also my room; I don’t need to knock, ok? I didn’t know that you’re getting dressed”

 

“Get out!”

 

Jongwoon move closer to her

 

“Alien noisy little girl, you’re body is not even hot, your is not that big, it doesn’t even pass my standard.

 

“You’re really a ert”

 

“I don’t have any interest in ing you, get that?”

 

Jongwoon smile at Ryeowook who keeps on pouting

 

“Be thankful that you’re so cute when you pout, or else I’m going to throw you outside the room like a cat”

 

Jongwoon flick her forehead and smile

 

“Get dressed now, because we will go somewhere”

 

“Go out first”

 

“I’m not going to you”

 

“Just go out first”

 

Jongwoon sigh and walks towards the bathroom

 

“Just knock if you’re done”

 

“No peeking”

 

“Yes babe, just get dressed now”

 

Ryeowook nod; Jongwoon went inside the bathroom as his wife get dressed

 

 

 

The newlywed couple went at the wild, and watches the endangered animals. Ryeowook was amaze when she saw a kangaroo and its baby; she run towards the baby panda dragging Jongwoon with her; She hold Jongwoon’s hand and lean on his arm while watching the panda happily, Jongwoon just smile while watching her.

 

“Sweetheart, look at the baby panda he is so cute”

 

“Sweetheart?”

 

Ryeowook look at him and realize that she was holding his hand; she then pushes it away, and moves far away from him

 

“What I mean is, ”

 

“Yeah right, alien girl”

 

“Wo zhen de hen hen ni” (I really hate you)

 

“I told you not to speak an alien language”

 

“It’s Mandarin you know”

 

“I know half Chinese and half Korean little girl; just don’t speak Mandarin to me because I can’t understand it”

 

“Because you’re stupid”

 

“What? Aish! You’re starting to make my blood boils”

 

Ryeowook stuck her tongue out; Jongwoon walks away, leaving her.

 

“I’ll have my own way”

 

“Go ahead”

 

 Ryeowook was busy taking pictures of the animals while watching them happily, when she saw Jongwoon kissing a girl, she stares at them blankly, and when the girl left Jongwoon turn around, and notice her staring at him blankly. Jongwoon smile and walk towards her

 

“Who is that girl?”

 

“My Australian ex girlfriend; she’s hot compare to you”

 

Ryeowook frown and walks away but Jongwoon follows her

 

“Are you jealous?”

 

“Of course not”

 

“Are you done playing around?”

 

Ryeowook ignores him

 

“Where should we go next?”

 

Ryeowook stop walking and look at Jongwoon

 

“I want to go at the Opera House and watch a concert”

 

“No way”

 

Jongwoon walks towards the car, Ryeowook follows him; he start driving the car quietly

 

“Please, let’s watch the concert. It’s one of my dreams, to go at the Opera House and watch some concerts.”

 

“I don’t want, it’s boring. Let’s just go at the bar, I’ll meet Jessica there”

 

“Who is she?”

 

“My girlfriend”

 

Ryeowook’s eyes widened

 

“Any problem?”

 

“Jongwoon, I want to watch the concert”

 

Jongwoon stops the car and went out. He opens the door and drag her outside.

 

“You go and watch it alone”

 

“But I’m not familiar in Australia. This is my first time here.”

 

“Get lost”

 

Jongwoon went inside his car and drive it fast, leaving Ryeowook alone; Ryeowook sigh as she watch the cars blankly, she don’t have any idea how to go at the Opera House. She rides a cab, and told the driver to drop her at the Opera House. When they arrive there, Ryeowook realize that she left her bag inside Jongwoon’s car, so the driver drop her at the police station

 

“Why did you drop me here?”

 

“You need to talk to the police before I send you to jail”

 

“I need to call a lawyer”

 

“Shut up”

 

The driver drags her inside the station and talks to the police and left her there. Ryeowook start crying, she can’t even understand what are they talking about; she don’t know how to speak English so she can’t understand them; how she wish that Sungmin was there to help her, because she’s good in speaking English, but she’s all alone at the police station and the driver who knows how to speak Korean leave her alone.

 

“Where do you live?”

 

Ryeowook just shook her head

 

“Stop crying, we’re asking you”

 

“Kim Jongwoon”

 

“Is that your name?”

 

“I can’t understand you”

 

“Do you know how to speak English?”

 

“I can’t understand you”

 

“The driver of the cab left you here; he thinks that you’re lost”

 

“I can’t understand, please speak Korean or Mandarin”

 

“What?”

 

The police officers sigh because they can’t understand her language

 

“Just stay here for the meantime, while we gather some information on where do you live”

 

“Kim Jongwoon”

 

“Oh, so you’re the wife of that playboy model Kim Jongwoon”

 

“Kim Jongwoon”

 

The police officer gives her tissue so she can wipe her tears

 

“Just wait for him and calm down; we will call him to inform that you’re here”

 

Ryeowook was looking at her watch; it was already eight in the evening, but Jongwoon is not yet there to fetch her. Tears start forming in her eyes again, because she’s so scared. Jongwoon went inside and stare at Ryeowook, he walks towards her

 

“What happen to you?”

 

“Jongwoon”

 

Ryeowook start to cry and hug her, but Jongwoon pushes her away.

 

“Hey don’t cry here, it’s so embarrassing”

 

“I got lost and the driver of the cab wants to send me at the jail. I left my bag on your car and I didn’t have money to pay him”

 

“Because you’re so stupid to leave it inside my car”

 

Jongwoon stare at her seriously; the police officer walks towards them and talk to Jongwoon. Ryeowook was amaze because Jongwoon knows how to speak English

 

“Your wife is lost, someone brings her here; it was the driver of the cab that she was riding awhile ago”

 

“I’m so sorry officer; my personal assistant is really stupid”

 

“What?”

 

“This little girl is my PA”

 

“She’s your wife right?”

 

“That wedding is just a joke, I’m really sorry if she bothers you”

 

“So, you still don’t change at all, poor young girl”

 

Jongwoon bows at him and drags Ryeowook outside. She was about to open the door on the front seat but Jongwoon told her to seat at the back; Ryeowook was shock to see a girl seating in front

 

“Who are you?”

 

“I’m Jessica, Jongwoon’s girlfriend”

 

Ryeowook somehow felt a little pain in her heart, because Jongwoon was having fun flirting with other girls while she was crying all day at the police station. Jongwoon drops her to her hotel and kiss her passionately in front of Ryeowook. Jessica smile at her before going out.

 

“You can transfer in front if you want”

 

Jongwoon told Ryeowook but she ignores him. When they arrive at the hotel, Ryeowook went out immediately and bang the car door as loud as she can. She went in their room, leaving Jongwoon

 

“What’s wrong with you?”

 

Jongwoon stare at Ryeowook who is sitting on the bed while typing on her laptop

 

“I’m asking you, what is your problem?”

 

Ryeowook stare at him seriously

 

“Why do you need to bring her along?”

 

“So? She’s my girlfriend”

 

“I am your wife”

 

“It’s just a joke”

 

“You don’t even care that I got lost”

 

“Because you’re stupid”

 

“You’re the reason why I got lost, you left me somewhere knowing that I am not familiar in Australia, and you didn’t even come back to give my bag”

 

“It’s not my fault that you left it in my car, because you’re stupid”

 

Tears start to fall from Ryeowook’s eyes

 

“I am not stupid! You only care about yourself; you’re having fun flirting with that girl, while I cry at the police station and feel so scared, but you’re at the bar while flirting with that !”

 

Jongwoon drag her and push her on the wall. He holds her chin so tight

 

“I’m warning you, don’t you ever call Jessica a or I’ll punch your stupid mouth, and stop acting as my wife because I don’t love you, and don’t you forget that our wedding is just a joke”

 

“Stop hurting me!”

 

Ryeowook start crying hard while sitting on the floor. Jongwoon went inside the bathroom and take a bath leaving her crying hard on the floor.
