CHAPTER 32

 

Sungmin was reading a Chinese newspaper when Jongwoon went down to look for Ryeowook

 

“Good morning Minnie”

 

Sungmin smile at the owner of the voice

 

“Good morning brother in law, did you have a good night rest?”

 

Jongwoon nods

 

“That’s good; do you want to have breakfast? I’m going to call Chao-xing to prepare your breakfast”

 

“I’ll eat later”

 

Sungmin pouts

 

“I’m actually looking for Wookie”

 

“She’s not here”

 

Jongwoon stares at her blankly

 

“She went out with Jonghyun”

 

“Jonghyun?”

 

Sungmin smile

 

“He’s Li xu’s classmate in Elementary”

 

Jongwoon raised his eyebrow

 

“He’s the one that mama was talking about, right?”

 

“Huh?”

 

“Wookie’s admirer”

 

Sungmin nod

 

“Why did you let her go with him if that’s her admirer?”

 

“Before but not now”

 

Jongwoon frown

 

“But still...she didn’t even ask permission to me, that’s unfair”

 

“Don’t be jealous. Li xu and Jonghyun are just friends. Jonghyun courts her, but that was a long time ago”

 

“She’s still unfair and you’re not suppose to allow her”

 

Sungmin sigh

 

“They will be back before lunch. Jonghyun’s parents want to see Li xu that’s why she goes with him in their house”

 

“It’s still unfair”

 

“Come on, don’t be so rude on my sister. She won’t cheat on you”

 

Sungmin stand up and hold his arm

 

“Let’s just eat and wait for her patiently. She’ll be back before lunch”

 

“Where is Kyu?”

 

“He went at Beijing Corporation with ba ba”

 

“How about mama?”

 

“She went at the manor to tell the helpers that we’re going to stay there tomorrow. She’ll be shopping today”

 

“And you didn’t come with her?”

 

Sungmin shook her head

 

“Why do you need to ask a lot of questions?”

 

“Because I’m curious”

 

Jongwoon smile

 

“Come on, let’s just eat. My baby and I are hungry”

Jongwoon flick her forehead

Sungmin just stuck her tongue out and drags him at the dining room

 

 

 

 

Sungmin and Jongwoon were chatting happily at the living room when Ryeowook arrives with Jonghyun

 

“Hubby”

 

She kissed her husband and hugs her sister

 

“Minnie told me that you went at your...”

 

Jongwoon notice a young man, same age as his brother, standing at the corner

 

“Who is he?”

 

Ryeowook smile and drags Jonghyun with her

 

“Hubby, I want you to meet Kim Jonghyun”

 

Jonghyun bows his head as a greeting

 

“He’s my friend; we’re classmates during our fifth grade. He’s a Korean, but they migrated here in Beijing because his father’s work has been transferred here”

 

“I see”

 

Ryeowook look at Jonghyun and smile at him

 

“Why don’t you join us for lunch?”

 

“Can I?”

 

Ryeowook nod and look at her sister

 

“Of course Jonghyun can join us”

 

Sungmin smile at him

 

“Li xu is right, just join us for lunch. Is that ok with you Jongwoon?”

 

Sungmin smile at his friend who keeps his eyes at Jonghyun. He nods his head as an answer

 

“That’s great”

 

Ryeowook clap her hands and smile brightly

 

 

 

 

Sungmin was staring at Jongwoon who keeps his eyes upon his wife and Jonghyun; Sungmin cough

 

“How are you Jonghyun?”

 

“I’m fine Noona. I’m studying business, ba ba Hannie lend me some books that I can use”

 

He smiles brightly

 

“By the way where are they?”

 

“Ba ba went at Beijing Corporation with my husband and nai nai; mama went at the manor. She told me that she’ll go shopping today and will go out with the Prime Minister’s wife after going at the manor”

 

“I see”

 

Jonghyun looks at Ryeowook

 

“How about you?”

 

Ryeowook look at him blankly while chewing her food

 

“I mean, how are you? It’s been a long time you know”

 

“I’m not feeling well”

 

“You’re sick?”

 

Ryeowook shook her head

 

“I don’t know, I just don’t feel nice lately”

 

“Stress?”

 

“Maybe”

 

Sungmin look at her sister

 

“You need to consult a doctor”

 

“Why?”

Ryeowook manage to smile and focus her eyes back to Jonghyun

 

“How’s your equestrian and archery?”

 

“Still the same”

Jonghyun raised his eyebrow

 

“Seven gold medals is luck? Nobody can even beat you in archery, not even me”

 

Jonghyun pout

 

“That’s unfair, we have the same teacher”

 

“Practice makes perfect, you’re lazy that’s why”

 

“Li xu”

 

“Yes?”

 

Jonghyun stares at her

 

“Can I ask something? I’m curious”

 

Ryeowook nod

 

“Why did you marry so early? You didn’t even wait for me”

 

Sungmin drop her fork upon hearing him; Jongwoon stand up and stares at him seriously

 

“Excuse me? I’m here, do you know how to give respect to someone?”

 

Ryeowook stand up and walk towards him

 

“Jongwoon please”

 

Jongwoon look at his wife

 

“Shut up, don’t stop me”

 

Jongwoon focus his eyes upon Jonghyun who is staring at him

 

“Who do you think you are? How can you ask my wife a question like that knowing that I am here?

 

Jonghyun stand up to face him

 

“I’m just asking”

 

“You’re not supposed to ask her that. You know very well that she’s already married, so stop chasing her”

 

Jonghyun smirk

 

“You’re just jealous of me”

 

Jongwoon was about to punch him but Ryeowook stop him

 

“Hubby, please stop”

 

Jongwoon look at her

 

“Fine”

 

He stares at Jonghyun before leaving the dining room

 

 

 

 

 

Heechul was staring curiously at Jongwoon at Ryeowook who were sitting away from each other while eating their dinner quietly. Her daughter was sitting beside her mother in law while her son in law was sitting beside Kyuhyun.

 

“Jongwoon”

 

Jongwoon stares at his mother in law

 

“Are you having fun here in Beijing?”

 

Jongwoon just nod

 

“Are you ok?”

 

Jongwoon drink his water and stand up

 

“Please excuse me, I need to rest now. I’m not feeling well”

 

They nod at him; Jongwoon bows his head and went upstairs. Ryeowook stand up

 

“I also need to take a rest now; I’m also not feeling well”

 

Ryeowook bows at them and follows her husband upstairs

 

“What’s wrong with them?”

 

Sungmin look at her mother

 

“Heart ache”

 

“What?”

 

“They just have a quarrel”

 

They focus their eyes upon her

Sungmin sigh and stand up

 

“I think I also need to rest now, my baby and I are so tired”

 

Sungmin bows at them and drag her husband with her

Hankyung and Mimi just shook their head and continue eating

Jongwoon ignores his wife

Jongwoon ignores her and sits on the bed; Ryeowook sit beside him

 

“I don’t want to talk to you so please go away”

 

Ryeowook pout

 

“How can we solve our problem if you’re not going to talk to me?”

 

Jongwoon stare at her

 

“You want to explain why you’re flirting with him?”

 

“I’m not flirting with him”

 

Jongwoon flash a sarcastic smile

 

“First, you didn’t even ask permission to go out with him”

 

“I told it to Unnie, you’re still sleeping and I don’t want to wake you”

 

“I am your husband”

 

“I just visit his parents because they want to see me”

 

Jongwoon raised his eyebrow

 

“You’re not feeling well but you can go out with him? Are you just fooling around?”

 

She shook her head

 

“Then you bring him here and introduce him to me”

 

“Why are you mad at me?”

 

“Why? You’re asking me why?”

 

Ryeowook’s tears start forming in her eyes

 

“I’m not doing anything; you don’t need to be jealous of him. We’re just friends”

 

“But he still loves you and you just go out with your former admirer. You already married, you’re not single Kim Ryeowook”

 

Jongwoon stand up

 

“I’m going out to catch fresh air”

 

Ryeowook hug him and lean her head at his back to stop him from leaving

 

“I’m sorry, please stay”

 

Jongwoon remove her hands around his waist

 

“I’m going out to catch some freash air”

 

Jongwoon leave the room; Ryeowook sit on the bed and sigh

 

“Aigoo! What have I done? He’s completely mad at me again”

 

She lays on the bed an stare at the ceiling sadly

 

“I feel so weak, I want to die. I’m so depress because my period is not yet arriving, I’m already delay. I’m such an abnormal human being”

 

Ryeowook hold her tummy while staring at the ceiling

 

“I wish I’m pregnant so Jongwoon will not get mad at me always and he will give me all his attention”

 

Ryeowook’s tears start falling from her eyes

 

“But I guess that won’t happen and he will just regret marrying me”
