CHAPTER 53

 

 

Kibum and Ryeowook were eating their lunch while studying for their exams

 

“When will Hyung be back?”

 

“Next week, Tuesday”

 

“Where are you staying while he’s not here?”

 

“I’m staying at Unnie’s house”

 

Kibum pouts

 

“Why not stay in our house?”

 

“Mianhae Bummie. I really want to stay there, but I promise Unnie that I’ll be staying at their house since Kyu Gege is with Jongwoon”

 

Kibum drinks his red ice tea

 

“How’s Key?”

 

“You know he’s very cute, you should visit their house so you will see Key”

 

Kibum flash his killer smile

 

“I already see him Wookie; I visit Noona last week before Kyuhyun Hyung went in Germany with Jongwoon Hyung”

 

“I see”

 

“Are you ok now?”

 

Ryeowook shook her head

 

“Not that fine”

 

“I told you to see a doctor”

 

“Yes I will”

 

“That’s good. Hyung Is really worried about you”

 

Kibum stares at her

 

“Sweetie pie, are you already expecting a baby?”

 

Ryeowook shook her head

 

“No, why?”

 

“Just asking”

 

Ryeowook start reading her notes again while holding her tummy

 

 

 

 

 

Ryeowook went at the hospital after her class to consult a doctor about her current condition

 

“Ms. Kim, there’s nothing wrong with you. You’re fine and you’re not even sick”

 

“Are you sure doctor?”

 

The doctor nods at her

 

“You don’t need to worry because you’re absolutely fine”

 

“Thank goodness”

 

The doctor smile at her

 

“I think you should visit your OB, maybe what you’re experiencing right now is already symptoms of pregnancy”

 

Ryeowook’s eyes widened

 

“You think so?”

 

The doctor nods at her

 

“Yes, so you should visit your OB soon, so she can advice you on what to do during your pregnancy”

 

“Thank you”

 

Ryeowook bows at the doctor and leave. She drives her car and went to Jia to have a pregnancy test

 

“Li xu, you can comeback next week for the result”

 

“You can’t give it to me now?”

 

“Yes. I need to go at Seoul Hospital, it’s emergency and I still need to finish a very important paper”

 

“It’s ok; I’ll just see you next week”

 

Jia hold her hands

 

“Li xu just take an extra care this time, though we still don’t know what the result is, but please take good care of yourself ok. I’m pretty much sure that you’re pregnant, so please take care. Arasso”

 

Ryeowook nods happily

 

“Can I ask a favor?”

 

“Of course”

 

“Don’t tell it to anyone until we’re hundred percent sure”

 

“No problem and it’s your responsibility to tell them, so I’m giving that right to you”

 

“Xie xie”

 

“No problem dear”

 

 

 

 

 

*CHO’S RESIDENCE*

 

 

Ryeowook hugs her sister tight

 

“Unnie, what will happen if I’m already pregnant?”

 

Sungmin smile at her brightly

 

“Then all of us will be happy especially Jongwoon”

 

“Do you think Jongwoon will really be happy?”

 

Sungmin nods at her

 

“Of course sweetheart, Jongwoon really wants to have a child and I’m sure he will be very happy if you’re already pregnant”

 

Ryeowook holds her tummy

 

“I really wish I am”

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Kibum went at the condominium to visit Ryeowook and give her some notes for the lessons that she missed

 

“Hi Bummie”

 

Ryeowook greeted him lazily; Kibum hands her a basket full of food

 

“Umma cooks it for you, since I’m visiting you today she decided to cook for you so you need to eat all of it or Umma will be mad at you”

 

“Thanks Bummie and please say thank you to Umma”

 

Kibum smile and sit on the sofa

 

“Hyung will arrive today, right?”

 

Ryeowook nods and sit on the couch

 

“Then why are you so sad?”

 

Ryeowook sit beside Kibum and lay on his lap

 

“I’m not feeling well”

 

“Again?”

 

“Yes”

 

Kibum gently her hair

 

“That’s why you’re absent for two days”

 

Ryeowook nods

 

“I thought you’re staying at Minnie Noona’s house?”

 

“Yes, but I told her that I need to go home. She’s actually mad at me for going home so early”

 

“You suppose to stay there until Hyung arrives and fetch you. so you won’t be alone here”

 

“But I already want to go home”

 

“Feeling ok now?”

 

Ryeowook shook her head

 

“No, I really feel so sick and I just want to lie down on bed all the time”

 

Kibum stares at her sadly

 

“I though you already see a doctor?”

 

“Yes and she told me that I’m fine and there’s nothing wrong with me”

 

“Why are you like that?”

 

“I don’t know, maybe I’m just tired. I can’t sleep properly at night because Jongwoon is not beside me”

 

“You’re such a kid, go to sleep, so you’ll be fine when you wake up”

 

Ryeowook hold his face

 

“I’m not sleepy”

 

“Fine, it’s up to you if you don’t want to sleep”

 

“I’m waiting for Jongwoon”

 

“Ok, by the way Umma and Appa are worried about you and told me to check if you’re already fine. I bet Umma will be more worried if she finds out that you’re still sick, so you really need to eat all the food that she cook so you’ll get well soon. You don’t know how to take care of yourself that’s why. You know very well that you got sick easily, but still you became so hard headed often that you won’t follow. Mama Chullie will freak out especially ba ba”

 

Ryeowook pouts

 

“I’m just tired and not sick”

 

“That’s the same”

 

Kibum smiles and hold her hands

 

“Just stay healthy and safe all the time. Arasso”

 

“Yes Bummie”

 

Jongwoon arrive at the condominium. His eyes widened as he stare at Ryeowook who is still lying on Kibum’s lap

 

“Hi Hyung”

 

Kibum smile brightly at his brother

 

“Why are you here?”

 

“I bring food for Wookie. Umma cooks it for her, and I’m visiting Wookie. She’s been absent for two consecutive days. Umma and Appa want me to check if she’s fine”

 

Ryeowook remains lying on Kibum’s lap because she feel so dizzy and find it hard to stand; Jongwoon look at her

 

“How’s work hubby?”

 

Ryeowook smile weakly

 

“Fine, but it’s a bit tiring though”

 

“You also need to take a rest so you will feel better”

 

Jongwoon raised his eyebrow

 

“Go upstairs because we need to talk”

 

“Why?”

 

“Just go to our room now”

 

Jongwoon look at his brother

 

“Are you going to stay here?”

 

Kibum shook his head

 

“I’m just waiting for you to arrive Hyung, so Wookie will not be left alone”

 

“Tell Umma that I’m going at her office tomorrow at ten in the morning”

 

“Arasso”

 

Jongwoon look at Ryeowook again

 

“You must be in our room within five minutes”

 

Jongwoon went upstairs, leaving them at the living room

 

“You need to follow or else Hyung will be mad again”

 

“He’s so sensitive”

 

“Because he’s getting old”

 

Kibum and Ryeowook laugh

 

“I need to go now”

 

Ryeowook sit properly and stare at him

 

“I’m so sorry Bummie. I can’t walk with you outside, I really don’t feel nice and I always feel so dizzy whenever I move”

 

“It’s ok, you need to go upstairs and rest”

 

“Thanks for dropping by”

 

“No problem”

 

Kibum smile at her before leaving. Ryeowook sit on the sofa and close her eyes for the meantime

 

“WOOKIE, YOUR FIVE MINUTES IS ALREADY OVER!!!”

 

Jongwoon shouts, Ryeowook sigh and went to their room

 

“Hubby, why are you sho—“

 

Jongwoon slaps her; Ryeowook hold her cheek and stare at Jongwoon, tears start forming in her eyes

 

“I’m not doing anything, why are you hurting me?”

 

Jongwoon grabs her arm and hold her chin tight

 

“You’re such a flirt”

 

“What are you talking about?”

 

“You don’t know what I’m talking about?”

 

Jongwoon tighten his grip

 

“Jongwoon let go, you’re hurting me”

 

Jongwoon push her away

 

“I don’t know what you are talking about”

 

“SHUT UP! I’m sick and tired of you. You’re always flirting with Bummie”

 

Ryeowook hold his face, but Jongwoon push her hand away

 

“Don’t touch me!”

 

“Hubby, I’m not flirting with Bummie. I feel so sick and dizzy that’s why I lay on his lap, but we’re not doing anything”

 

“STOP LYING!”

 

“I’m not lying, I’m telling the truth”

 

“You’re flirting why I’m away for work”

 

Ryeowook slaps him

 

“What kind of mind do you have? How dare you think that way? I’m not that kind of woman”

 

Jongwoon grabs his car key and went downstairs, Ryeowook follows him

 

“Hubby, where are you going?”

 

Ryeowook blocks the door to stop him from leaving

 

“Jongwoon, please listen to me”

 

“Go away alien”

 

Ryeowook hug him tight

 

“Jongwoon please don’t leave, let’s talk about it…please listen to me”

 

“I’m tired of listening to you. I hate to hear your stupid reasons everytime that I’ll caught you flirting with my brother”

 

Ryeowook shook her head

 

“I’m not flirting with Bummie”

 

Ryeowook holds her tummy as she feels a sudden pain and stare at Jongwoon still blocking the door

 

“Please don’t leave Jongwoon, not now”

 

“Go away”

 

“Listen to me please…I’m really sick Jongwoon”

 

“Yeah right”

 

Jongwoon push her away and leave the place

 

 

 

 

 

*BAR*

 

 

Jongwoon was busy drinking and flirting with girls when a blonde girl walks towards him

 

“Hi sweetheart, what are you doing here?”

 

Jongwoon smile at her and give her a kiss

 

“Jessica, it’s nice to see you”

 

Jessica wraps her hands on his neck and kisses him

 

“What are you doing here?”

 

“I fight with my wife”

 

“I see”

 

Jongwoon put his hands on her waist and pull her closer and kisses her

 

“Please make me forget my wife for the meantime”

 

“Your wish is my command sweetheart”

 

Jessica kisses him

 

 

 

 

Jongwoon was already drunk, he look at Jeesica and kissed her lips

 

“Babe let’s go home, I’m tired”

 

Jongwoon give her a hug

 

“Sure, give me your car key. I’ll drive for you”

 

Jongwoon hand her his car key. Jessica helps him to get inside the car. She smile while looking at Jongwoon who is already sleeping

 

“I got you Jongwoon and I’ll make sure that you’ll be mine”

 

Jessica drives his car to her house and drag Jongwoon to her room

 

“Babe, where are we?”

 

“We’re home”

 

“But this is not our home, it looks different”

 

“Because you’re drunk”

 

Jongwoon hug her

 

“I’m sorry babe, if I hurt you awhile ago. I didn’t mean to do that”

 

“It’s ok sweetheart”

 

Jessica start kissing him as she removes his shirt

 

“I love you babe”

 

Jongwoon whisper to her ear and kisses her lips and her neck and lay her down on the bed

 

 

 

 

 

Ryeowook was walking around the living room

 

“He’s not answering his phone. Jongwoon, where are you?”

 

Ryeowook walk towards the stairs to get her car key upstairs, when she suddenly felt dizzy and hold her tummy as she feels a sudden pain again. She sits on the stairs while holding her tummy

 

“Baby, this is mama talking to you, please not now. Give me some strength. I need to look for your ba ba…please”

 

Ryeowook carefully stand and went to their room to get her car key

 

 

 

 

Jessica was staring at Jongwoon who is sleeping peacefully on her bed. She holds her tummy and smile

 

“You’re going to be mine soon”

 

Jessica gets his phone and answers his call

 

“Hi !”

 

“Jessica, where is Jongwoon?”

 

Jessica smiles brightly

 

“He’s sleeping peacefully on my bed”

 

“Give me back my husband”

 

Ryeowook’s tears start falling

 

“Don’t cry sweetheart. Don’t worry, he’s safe and after this day Jongwoon is no longer yours”

 

“No! Jessica ple—“

 

“BYE!”

 

Jessica hangs up; Ryeowook keeps on calling Jongwoon, but his phone is already out of coverage area. Ryeowook bury her face on the steering wheel
