CHAPTER 13

Jongwoon went downstairs and see his wife at the kitchen, busy preparing their breakfast. He walks towards the dining room and smile at her

“What’s for breakfast?”

“Kimchi fried rice and omelet”

Ryeowook look at him nervously. Jongwoon sit on the chair, Ryeowook put some food on his plate and sit beside him. Jongwoon start eating quietly, and notice his wife staring at him.

“Why are you staring at me?”

Jongwoon look at her while chewing his food gently

“Mianhae, I wake up so late that’s why the food is not that good. I’ll just cook delicious meal later at dinner”

Ryeowook bite her lips and prepare herself for Jongwoon’s unending sermon

“It’s delicious you know”

Ryeowook’s eyes widened...What’s with him? It seems that the arrogant, playboy monster is in the mood today...he’s not mad ar me? Ryeowook thought

“Really”

Jongwoon nod

“Yes”

Ryeowook smile and stare at her watch. She immediately stands and grabs her things

“OMO, I’m going to be late. Aigoo”

Jongwoon focus his eyes upon her

“Where are you going?”

“In school, I have class today”

Ryeowook throws her apron on the chair and grab her car key

“Just place the dishes on the sink, I’ll wash it later”

Jongwoon pull her arms before she can leave the kitchen

“Give me your car key”

“Why?”

Jongwoon grab the key away from her and place it above the fridge

“Hey, that’s so rude. I can’t reach it there”

Jongwoon smile

“I’ll drop you at school”

Ryeowook just stare at him

“But you have work, right?”

“Yes, but that will be later”

Jongwoon grabs the lunch box in the cabinet and put some kimchi fried rice and omelet. He pours water on a small water bottle and gives it to Ryeowook.

“You eat inside the car while I drive; it’s not good that you go to school without eating breakfast, your brain will not function well, as well as your body. That’s why you’re getting thin because you’re not eating properly”

Jongwoon helps her carry her things

“Aish! Why do you need to carry books that are heavier than you?”

Ryeowook just smile at him. Jongwoon opens the back seat and put her things there. Ryeowook put her seatbelt and Jongwoon starts the car and drives her to school.

Jongwoon and Ryeowook arrive at the Seoul Conservatory; Jongwoon park his car on the parking area and was shock to see a lot of girls gathering around the car while screaming, waiting for him to get out. Ryeowook stare on her watch with teary eyes

“OMO, how will I go out if the place is so crowded? I need to go now; I’m going to be late”

Jongwoon went out and the screaming girls welcome him. He manages to escape from them and open Ryeowook’s door. The girls shoot a deadly her a deadly glare; they keep on whispering with each other. Jongwoon escorted her inside; the people are staring at them while they walk along the hallway. Jongwoon hold Ryeowook’s hand as they walk along the hallway; Ryeowook stop in front of her classroom; Kibum is already inside, Jongwoon notice him and shouts.

“Kibum-ah!”

Kibum look outside and smile at them. Jongwoon wave his hand while smiling at his brother. Ryeowook grab her things from his hand and smile

“Thank you”

“You study well and don’t waste my money for nothing”

Ryeowook nod like a little kid

“What time should I fetch you?”

“Seven in the evening”

“Why so late?”

“My class is until seven in the evening”

Jongwoon nods at her and flick her forehead

“Go inside now. Study well”

Ryeowook smile at him before going inside. She walks towards Kibum and sit beside him

“Did you put some potion on Hyung’s food today?”

Ryeowook laugh

“I really don’t know what’s with him, he start acting so nice to me. He even volunteers to drop me here”

Kibum flash his killer smile

“It’s nice to see you getting well with him”

Ryeowook smile sweetly

“By the way you should visit our condominium”

“Why? Are you going to have a housewarming party?”

Ryeowook shook her head

“I just want you your sister in law if you have some free time”

Kibum smile

“I’ll visit you one of these days, maybe on Friday since we don’t have class”

Ryeowook nod

“Then let’s visit the music museum. I heard that that there are a lot of old music instrument and music works there. I wish to go there with your Hyung, but he don’t like visiting places like that”

“Then let’s have a date on Friday?”

Ryeowook nods happily

Ryeowook was busy studying in the library while waiting for Jongwoon; Kibum went home after the class to prepare for his recital next week. It was already seven thirty in the evening; Ryeowook keeps on checking her phone, waiting for her husband’s call.

“Where is he? He’s supposed to be here right now”

 Ryeowook sigh while staring on her phone sadly, she put it inside her bag and focuses on her assignment. She was writing her lecture when her phone rings, she immediately answers it.

“Yeoboseo”

She can hear a loud music and people screaming

“Where are you?”

“I’m having a good time with my girls right now; I just call to inform you that I can’t fetch you, so you go home alone”

Jongwoon hang up. Ryeowook frown

“I thought he change already but still…”

Ryeowook stare on her phone sadly. She returns the books and fixes her things. She was walking sadly outside the school, and calls for a cab to drop her home.

Ryeowook was busy doing her school works on her study table. She watches the clock, it was two in the morning, but Jongwoon is not yet home. Ryeowook put down her pencil and take a deep breath

“Aish! Ryeowook stop thinking about your bastard husband; you need to concentrate on your school works and don’t mind him”

Ryeowook told herself; she starts writing again while staring on the clock.

“Aish! That’s it; I’m going to call him”

 Ryeowook grab her phone and dials Jongwoon’s number, but he’s not answering any of her call.

“I’m so stupid to wait for him. I can’t even concentrate on finishing my school works”

Ryeowook went downstairs to grab some milk in the fridge. She heard the door opens and run at the living room. Jongwoon look at her while smiling

“You’re still awake?”

“Where have you been?”

Ryeowook walks towards him

“Did you drink?”

“Hey babe you know I…”

Jongwoon falls on Ryeowook causing her to fall on the floor, because Jongwoon is really heavy for her

“I can see stars now, I’m in heaven right?”

“You’re drunk”

Jongwoon try to stand but he can’t, his world start spinning around

“Am I riding a ferries wheel? I’m starting to get dizzy; my world is spinning round and round, how nice”

Jongwoon giggles happily

“Can you please move a little? You’re heavy”

Jongwoon push her making him on top of her

“It’s you my dear wife. I miss you so much”

Jongwoon was about to kiss her but Ryeowook covers her lips

“It’s just a kiss, why do you need to play hard to get all the time?”

Jongwoon frown

“I told you no kissing and touching. You stand now and let’s go upstairs, so you can change your clothes and wash your face, you smell so weird because of the alcohol”

Jongwoon laid his head on her

“My pillow is so fluffy”

Jongwoon keeps his head on his s, though Ryeowook try all her best to push it away

“Stop pushing my head babe, I want to sleep now and my head hurt so badly”

“It’s not a pillow you know”

Jongwoon look at her and hold her lips

“Shhh, stop being noisy. I’m going to sleep now”

“I’m not your bed, stand now because you’re too heavy”

Jongwoon rest his head on Ryeowook’s chest

“Let’s just sleep here for the meantime, I can’t stand anymore”

“You’re heavy and the floor is cold”

Jongwoon smile sweetly

“It’s not cold, it’s warm”

Ryeowook sigh

“You’re lying on top of me”

“Shut up babe! I need to sleep now”

“I still need to finish my homework”

“Shhhh”

Jongwoon slowly close his eyes, Ryeowook keeps on shaking him, but Jongwoon was already sleeping peacefully, lying on her warm body.
