CHAPTER 1

 

 

“Wookie, wake up!”

 

Sungmin keeps on shaking her sleeping sister, but instead of waking up, Ryeowook grabs the pillow and cover her ear then grabs the blanket and cover herself to avoid Sungmin

 

“Wookie, you need to wake up now”

 

Sungmin pulls the blanket but Ryeowook won’t let it go

 

“Unnie, it’s still early please stop shaking me and let me sleep”

 

“Excuse me sweetheart, it’s already six in the morning. You’re going to be late in school”

 

“Five minutes more”

 

“I’ll go down now and finish my breakfast, I’m warning you get up now or you’ll be late”

 

Sungmin stare at her sister but she didn’t even move. She took a deep breath and walk towards the door and left Ryeowook still lying on her bed

 

 

 

It was already 11AM, Sungmin was busy typing an article about the latest fashion in Korea on her laptop when Ryeowook came running carrying her bag and pile of books

 

“Unnie I hate you. You didn’t wake me awhile ago”

 

“Sweetheart, I wake you but you’re the one who doesn’t want to get up”

 

“Well, I sleep so late last night”

 

“Who told you to stay up late at night?”

 

Ryeowook sit beside Sungmin and let her fix her long silky hair

 

“I work on my research paper about Beethoven and I analyze three of his Symphonies and two of his Sonatas because I have report today. I’m still sleepy Unnie”

 

Ryeowook lean her head on Sungmin’s shoulder

 

“I missed my first class because you didn’t wake me”

 

“I wake you, I keep on shaking you but you keep on ignoring me. You even grab the blanket and cover yourself so you can avoid me”

 

“I missed my favorite subject; I suppose to play with Bummie on the piano. I hope he’s not mad at me”

 

Sungmin hold Ryeowook’s face and look at her while smiling

 

“It’s your favorite subject because Bummie is there right?”

 

Ryeowook blush

 

“Of course not, it’s my favorite subject because it’s piano pedagogy. We need to play piano every meeting and that’s the time that I can show my skills in playing the piano. Unnie, please stop playing cupid between me and Bummie because we’re just friends ok?”

 

“I don’t think so, and some of the people often mistaken you as his girlfriend”

 

“That’s silly, Bummie is my best friend”

 

Ryeowook get her mirror in her bag and stare on it while smiling

 

“Thanks Unnie for fixing my hair”

 

“No problem”

 

Sungmin grabs Ryeowook’s bag and look for her makeup kit

 

“Where is your makeup kit sweetheart?”

 

“I’m not going to wear makeup today Unnie”

 

“Just put some blush on you looks so pale”

 

“I hate wearing makeup Unnie”

 

Sungmin sigh

 

“How can you grab a boyfriend if you don’t know how to fix yourself?”

 

“I’m still beautiful even without makeup”

 

Sungmin smile at her

 

“That’s right sweetheart because you’re one of Mama Heechul’s daughter but at least learn how to look like a lady rather than a kid. You better go now or else you’ll missed your report”

 

Ryeowook look at her watch, she grab her bag and books and kisses her sister on her cheek

 

“I’ll go now Unnie, see you later”

 

“Are you not going to eat first? Or just bring food and eat it on your way to school”

 

“No, I’ll be late. I’ll see you later, Saranghae”

 

Ryeowook grab her car key and run towards the door

 

“Drive safely sweetheart and go home early because mama and ba ba will arrive today, Saranghae”

 

Ryeowook nod and run outside.

 

 

 

Ryeowook was driving her car fast when someone hit her car from behind

 

“Aish! What the hell!”

 

She immediately went out to talk to the young man wearing sunglasses while talking to someone over the phone

 

“YAH!”

 

The handsome man stares at her before turning his back away from her

 

“YAH! I’M TALKING TO YOU!”

 

The young man keeps on ignoring her, Ryeowook lose her temper and kick his car. The young man stare at her and remove his sunglasses still staring at the cute little girl in front of him whose tears are about to fall from her lovely eyes

 

“Why did you hit my car? Don’t you know that I’m in a hurry? Damn it! I hate you!”

 

He opens his car door and gets his wallet to pay the damage on Ryeowook’s car

 

“How much do you want?”

 

“What the hell are you doing?”

 

“I’m going to pay you so you’ll stop nagging around because you’re so annoying”

 

Ryeowook raise her eyebrow and stare at him seriously

 

“Excuse me Mr. Arrogant; I don’t need your money. I can hire someone who will fix my car”

 

“Then what do you want from me?”

 

“Your apology! You hit my car and I’m on a hurry to go to school!”

 

The handsome young man smirk

 

“It’s your fault because you’re driving your car so fast”

 

“My fault? You’re really an arrogant man; it’s your fault because you’re not looking on your way!”

 

The young man laughs sarcastically while staring at her

 

“Well, mianhae cute little girl if I didn’t notice you. I didn’t know that a twelve year old kid is already legal to drive alone”

 

“I’M NOT A KID!”

 

“Oops, mianhae”

 

The young man smile teasingly

 

“Aish! Why are you so arrogant? You’re really getting on my nerves”

 

“Why are you so loud?”

 

“I HATE YOU!!!!!”

 

“As if I love you”

 

“I’m warning you, if I got late from my class you’re going to pay for it!”

 

The young man smiles at her and hand her a small card

 

“That’s my business card cute little annoying girl, you can haunt me every time that you want, I’m not afraid of you. End of discussion, bye bye”

 

He pats Ryeowook’s head before going inside his car and drives it fast. Ryeowook stares at the business card

 

“Kim, Jongwoon. Aish! I don’t care if he’s the famous TV icon and model”

 

Ryeowook crumples the card and start tearing it into pieces

 

“I don’t need your damn business card!”

 

She went inside her car and drives it fast

 

 

 

 

Ryeowook was walking fast on the hallway when someone pulls her

 

“Hi Bummie, good afternoon”

 

Ryeowook smile at him

 

“What’s good in the afternoon when my partner didn’t show up in the piano pedagogy class awhile ago?”

 

Kibum flash a weak smile

 

“Mianhae Bummie, I overslept because I stay up all night just to finish my research paper and my analysis about Beethoven. I have report today in my forms and analysis class. What did professor Hyukkie told you?”

 

Kibum flash his killer smile

 

“Well, Professor Hyukkie told me that we can still play the piece next week and some of our classmates are not yet done playing their duets so we still have chance next week. So please don’t be absent”

 

Ryeowook smile at him and hug him tight

 

“Thank goodness I thought we will get zero today, mianhae Bummie”

 

“It’s ok, by the way where are you going?”

 

“I have forms and analysis class”

 

Kibum look at his watch and smile at Ryeowook

 

“Well you better hurry now or you’ll missed it too”

 

“Oh yeah, I’ll see you later”

 

“I’ll be practicing in music studio 10 just drop by if your class is already finish. Let’s eat lunch together”

 

“Ok”

 

“Good luck sweetie pie”

 

Ryeowook laugh softly

 

“Sweetie pie? Where did you get that name?”

 

“Because you’re so sweet little girl just like the pie that Umma baked yesterday night”

 

“You’re so corny”

 

“Go now sweetie pie Wookie, you’ll be late”

 

Ryeowook kiss his cheek and run towards her classroom

 

 

 

 

 

Ryeowook went home early. She run towards her parents and hug them sweetly

 

“I miss you, mama and ba ba”

 

Heechul kiss her cheek

 

“How’s my beautiful daughter?”

 

“Fine, but my car got hit awhile ago”

 

Heechul and Sungmin’s eyes widened. Hankyung look at her daughter with worried face

 

“What happen honey?”

 

“Someone hit me but I’m fine, don’t worry Appa”

 

“Are you sure?”

 

“Yes”

 

Hankyung grab her hands and examine it, he hold her forehead and compare her temperature from his temperature

 

“Honey, your daughter don’t have fever”

 

“I’m just checking her, what if she got sick because of that accident? You’ll never know or maybe she got so scared”

 

Sungmin smile at her father

 

“Ba ba don’t be so paranoid, Wookie already told us that she’s fine. We just need to send her car to the auto shop so they can fix it”

 

Ryeowook hug her sister

 

“That man is so arrogant”

 

“Who?”

 

“The one who hit my car awhile ago, I really hate him”

 

“For the meantime, I’ll be the one who will drop you to school”

 

“Thanks Unnie”

 

Heechul smile at her daughters

 

“By the way Wookie, how’s your report? Minnie told me that you stay up late at night just to finish it that’s why you overslept awhile ago and missed your first class”

 

“Its fine, I got A+”

 

“That’s wonderful; my babies are really smart and beautiful like me”

 

Hankyung pouts

 

“Honey, don’t forget that they got their brains from me ok”

 

“But still they are smart and talented because their mother is me”

 

Sungmin and Ryeowook laugh while hugging each other

 

“Of course we are smart, beautiful and talented because you’re our parents, right sweetheart?”

 

“That’s right Unnie, can we eat our dinner now? I’m hungry”

 

Hankyung hold her cheek

 

“Let’s go to the dining room now, we bought strawberry short cake”

 

Ryeowook hug her father’s arm

 

“Ba ba did you bought all the books and all the things that I requested?”

 

“Of course honey, we put it on your room”

 

“How’s Switzerland”

 

“It’s good; we’re going to visit there one of these weeks”

 

Sungmin sit on her father’s lap

 

“Ba ba, I want to go in Vienna”

 

“That’s a good idea Unnie, let’s just go in Vienna rather than in Switzerland, so I can visit the old music schools and theaters there”

 

“I want to know the latest trend in Vienna and the music there so I can write it on my magazines”

 

“Ok, we’ll go there next week, is that ok with you Chullie?”

 

Heechul smile at them

 

“Of course, I’ll ask for a vacation leave again”

 

Hankyung look at his daughters while smiling brightly

 

“Then if that’s my babies request, we will go in Vienna next week”

 

Ryeowook and Sungmin kiss their parents

 

“Let’s eat now ok”
