CHAPTER 36

 

It’s been a week since Jongwoon is not talking and acting cold towards Ryeowook. He’s sleeping at the guest room for about a week, Ryeowook tries her best to talk to him, but he always ignores his wife and always locked his self inside the guest room to avoid her.

 

“Aish! You’re so stupid Kim Ryeowook, you shouldn’t asked him about the girl who breaks his heart…stupid”

 

Ryeowook told herself while fixing her things inside her bag. Jongwoon came downstairs holding his car key

 

“Good morning hubby”

 

Ryeowook greets him with a smile, but Jongwoon just ignores her as he walks towards the door

 

“You’re already leaving? I thought your classmates will be here later?”

 

Jongwoon look at her

 

“I have schedules today and I’ll fetch them after that. Don’t forget to prepare our snacks ok”

 

Ryeowook pout

 

“But I’m going at your house today. Bummie will teach me the lessons that I’ve missed, so it won’t be hard for me when I comeback to school next week”

 

Jongwoon raised his eyebrow and walk towards her

 

“Who is your husband, me or my brother?”

 

“You”

 

“Then follow what I’m telling you arasso. We’ll be arriving at three in the afternoon; you clean the house and prepare our snacks.”

 

“But Jongw—“

 

“KIM RYEOWOOK! I’m warning you if ever you went to our house you bring all your things and don’t ever return here anymore, do you UNDERSTAND ME?”

 

Ryeowook nods

 

“I’m leaving”

 

“Where is my kiss?”

 

Jongwoon takes a deep breath and stare at her seriously

 

“Aish! Why did I marry a kid like you? My head is aching because of you. You love to fool around, play around, flirt with Bummie and I can’t even understand why I married a girl like you who can’t even bear a child!”

 

Ryeowook stare at him with teary eyes. Jongwoon sigh before going out. He was standing outside, waiting for the elevator.

 

“Aish! What is wrong with you Kim Jongwoon? Do you really need to hurt your wife like that? You’re so stupid for telling that thing to her, you’ll just make her cry again”

 

Jongwoon told his self while waiting for the elevator. He takes a deep breath and went inside their unit

 

“Babe, where are you?”

 

Jongwoon finds her sitting on the stairs while crying

 

“Babe”

 

Ryeowook lift her head and was shock to see Jongwoon in front of her. She wipes her tears and stares at him

 

“Why are you here?”

 

“I forgot something”

 

Jongwoon sit beside her and hold her face then kiss her

 

“I’m leaving now, I love you so much babe”

 

Jongwoon smile and run towards the door, leaving Ryeowook speechless

 

 

 

 

Kibum and Ryeowook were studying at the dining room when Jongwoon and his classmates arrives

 

“Babe, I’m home”

 

Jongwoon place his things on the couch and look for Ryeowook. He smiles upon seeing her at the dining room, busy studying. Jongwoon walk towards her and kiss her cheek

 

“My friends want to meet you”

 

“But I’m studying”

 

“You can continue that later. Victoria is so excited to meet you”

 

Ryeowook stare at him blankly; Jongwoon smile and grab her wrist and drag her with him. Ryeowook hold on to Kibum’s hand so that Jongwoon can’t drag her, but Jongwoon is strong enough to pull her and Kibum with him

 

“This is my wife Han Ryeowook and my brot—Hey what are you doing here Kim Kibum?”

 

Jongwoon raised his eyebrow while staring at his brother who is smiling at him brightly. He notices that Ryeowook and Kibum were holding each other’s hand. He stands in between them pulling Ryeowook closer to him.

 

“Who told you to touch the hand of this alien?”

 

“She drags me with her”

 

“Why are you here?”

 

“Because you didn’t allow Wookie to come at home, so I’m the one who went here so we can study together”

 

Jongwoon hugs Ryeowook tight while looking at Kibum

 

“I’m not going to steal her away from you, don’t be so possessive. We’re just going to study ok”

 

Jongwoon look at Ryeowook who just nods at him

 

“No flirting babe”

 

“I’m not flirting around”

 

Ryeowook smile at his classmates and greet them. Victoria smiles at her and hug her so tight

 

“I finally met you”

 

“Huh?”

 

Victoria smiles brightly before speaking

 

“I finally met one of the billion dollar princesses. You’re so beautiful Unnie”

 

Ryeowook smile

 

“Ni shi Victoria dui ma?” (So, you’re Victoria right?)

 

Victoria nods happily

 

“Shì de” (Yes)

 

“Ni shi Jongwoon de hua wen peng you ma?” (You’re that Chinese friend of Jongwoon?)

 

“Shì de, wǒ yě zai jiào tā hua yu, yin wei ta zhen de xiang xue xi” (Yes, I also teach him Chinese as he wants to learn it badly)

 

“Ta neng shuo yi xie hua yu gan dai hen kai xin” (He’s happy that he can speak a little Mandarin)

 

“Wǒ xi wang wo men ye ke yi duo liao jie dui fang” (I hope we can be close too)

Ryeowook smile at her. Jonghoon approach her

 

“Hello Mrs. Kim”

 

“You can just call me Wookie or Li xu”

 

Jonghoon smiles at her

 

“I am Choi Jonghoon and it’s nice to meet you. You’re really beautiful. Jongwoon Hyung is so lucky to have you”

 

“Thanks”

 

Jongwoon hold her hand as he introduces her to the rest. The silent person in the group is Lee Min-young; she’s pretty but shy type of girl, then Lee Joon is the serious type of person like Kibum, but Kibum is much serious compare to him and the last but not the least is Shindong, the clown of the group. He never fails to make them laugh whenever they are getting serious on working with their school works

 

“It’s nice meeting to meet you all and please take care of Jongwoon in school”

 

Ryeowook smile at Jongwoon

 

“Hey I’m not a kid anymore”

 

 “But you’re still immature”

 

Jongwoon smile; Ryeowook look at them while smiling sweetly

 

“By the way, I’ll excuse myself. I need to prepare your snacks and continue studying with Bummie at the dining room”

 

“Unnie, you can study here at the living room with us”

 

“But we might disturb you guys”

 

Jongwoon look at Kibum

 

“You transfer here Bummie so I can watch you and Wookie”

 

Kibum smile at him

 

“We’re not going to do anything Hyung”

 

“Just to be sure that you won’t flirt around with each other”

 

“Guess who’s talking”

 

“YAH! You need to follow me”

 

Kibum walks away and return at the dining room grabbing all their things and transfer it at the living room; Ryeowook excused herself as she prepares their snacks

 

 

 

 

Ryeowook and Kibum were busy studying and doing their homeworks. Jongwoon set his eyes upon him; watching every single thing that they are doing. Kibum notice his brother staring at them, he moves closer to his brother’s wife; so close that they can switch their faces any minute

 

“Sweetie pie, do you find it hard?”

 

Ryeowook smile and shook her head

 

“You’re really good in theories and analysis”

 

“Because you teach me”

 

Kibum kissed her cheek and look at Jongwoon whose eyes are open widely while staring at them

 

“What if I kiss you, are you going to get mad at me?”

 

Ryeowook look at him and smile

 

“Kiss me where?”

 

Kibum hold her lips

 

“Can I?”

 

“Of course”

 

Kibum smile at her and look at his brother who keeps on biting his lips because of anger. He was about to kiss Ryeowook on her lips when Jongwoon shouts

 

“KIM KIBUM!”

 

Kibum look at him and smile

 

“Yes Hyung?”

 

“You go back to your studies and don’t play around with that alien! You understand?”

 

“Ok”

 

Kibum return to his seat and continue studying. Ryeowook look at Jongwoon who immediately pulls Victoria closer to him while looking at his wife

 

“You’re jealous right?”

 

Kibum asked her but Ryeowook shook her head, still looking at Jongwoon and Victoria

 

“Really”

 

Ryeowook look at Kibum

 

“A little, but not that much because she’s not Jessica”

 

“So what?”

 

“If that girl is Jessica I’m really going to get a knife in the kitchen and slash Jongwoon’s throat and then cut that into pieces”

 

Kibum laugh softly to avoid disturbing his brother and his classmates in studying

 

“Wow, so cruel”

 

“But do you think they are flirting around or they are just close with each other?”

 

Kibum raised his eyebrow as he smiles brightly

 

“Wookie, you don’t get it why Hyung is doing that?”

 

“Doing what?”

 

Kibum shook his head

 

“It’s nothing, you’re really so insensitive with regards to that matter”

Ryeowook look at him curiously

 

“Forget it and just continue studying”

 

Kibum notice Ryeowook pouting while looking at Jongwoon’s direction. He moves closer to her and pulls her with him on the floor making her on top

 

“Let’s play first Wookie. I’m already tired”

 

“Ok, what are we going to play?”

 

Kibum smile and start tickling her

 

“BUMMIE YOU STOP IT”

 

Ryeowook scream on top of her lungs making Jongwoon and his classmates look at them curiously. Ryeowook manage to escape, she start running around the house while Kibum chase her

 

“Bummie…I don’t…want this kind of…of of of play so stop now”

 

Ryeowook was screaming at the top of her lungs while laughing

 

“Loser will take the punishment”

 

“Then what is it?”

 

“You’ll know it later”

 

Ryeowook grabs a pillow and throw it on him, she start running again. Jongwoon watch them blankly, he feels so jealous and start biting his lips again. He overheard Jonghoon whispering to Min-young

 

“Are they really just best friends?”

 

Jongwoon stare at them, Min-young elbows Jonghoon and they both return to their works.

 

“There’s nowhere to run now Wookie”

 

Kibum smiles while staring at Ryeowook who is standing at the corner thinking on where she can run to escape from him. Kibum catch her before she can run away

 

“I got you”

 

Kibum hold her waist, Ryeowook lean on him

 

“Please don’t punish me, it’s unfair”

 

“It’s not unfair”

 

Ryeowook was breathing hard, Kibum smile and kiss her cheek

 

“That’s your punishment”

 

Ryeowook look at him blankly

 

“You don’t want? THEN I SHALL KISS YOU ON YOUR LIPS”

 

Kibum shouts while staring at Jongwoon. Ryeowook close her eyes. Kibum come close and about to kiss her lips.

 

“YAH! KIM KIBUM!”

 

Kibum smiles at Jongwoon who is already standing in front of them

 

“What the hell are you doing?”

 

“I’m going to kiss Wookie; do you want to join us?”

 

Jongwoon pulls Ryeowook towards him as they sit on the floor. Kibum smile brightly, still staring at his brother and sit beside him

 

“I’m going to study with you”

 

Kibum shook his head

 

“No way!”

 

“Yes I will”

 

“You have visitors so you need to entertain them and they are your classmates. You need to study with them and don’t disturb me and Wookie”

 

Kibum reach for Ryeowook’s hand and grab her wrist pulling her away from his brother but Jongwoon immediately hugs his wife so Kibum can’t drag her closer at his side.

 

“YAH! This is my wife, don’t touch her. She’s mine ok”

 

Ryeowook keeps on pushing him away, but Jongwoon keep on hugging her tight

 

“Jongwoon, you’ll break my bones. Please don’t hug me so tight”

 

Jongwoon look at her and pouts

 

“I need to hug you as tight as I can, so Bummie can’t steal you away from me”

 

Jongwoon hug her even tighter and rest his head on her chest while looking at Kibum, stucking his tongue out

 

“You’re such a kid Hyung”

 

“Wookie is mine not yours. Now go away”

 

Jongwoon push him like a kid

 

“Since when did you become possessive?”

 

“Since birth”

 

Kibum smile and keeps on pulling Ryeowook

 

“Give me Wookie, we need to finish our homework and we still need to practice conducting. I still need to teach her one lesson”

 

Jongwoon keeps on pushing Kibum’s hand away from Ryeowook, but he won’t let go of her wrist. Ryeowook frowns at them.

 

“YAH! Both of you stop pulling me, my wrist already hurt and my body also hurt. I can’t breathe properly because you hug me so tight while Bummie keeps on pulling my wrist. Both of you need to let go of me now”

 

“NO!!!”

 

Jongwoon and Kibum shout together while looking at each other

 

“Hyung, go away and leave us alone. You’re disturbing us”

 

Jongwoon shook his head and stuck his tongue out

 

“No way! You’re not studying; you’re just flirting with each other. I can’t accept that”

 

Kibum cough

 

“Someone is jealous here”

 

Kibum emphasize the word ‘jealous’ while staring at his brother

 

“I am not jealous ok”

 

Kibum smile at him

 

“Hyung, I didn’t even mention name. I only said that someone is jealous here. You didn’t here me say KIM JONGWOON is jealous, so why are you being defensive?”

 

Ryeowook nods while smiling at Kibum; Jongwoon raise his eyebrow while looking at Ryeowook then at Kibum

 

“I am not jealous! Babe, do not smile and look at Bummie like that”

 

“I’m just smiling at my brother in law, what’s wrong with that?”

 

Jongwoon look at her closer

 

“Because you’re only allowed to look at me”

 

Ryeowook pinch his nose

 

“So selfish”

 

Kibum laugh, Jongwoon shoot a deadly glare on him

 

“And why are you laughing?”

 

“Because you’re so funny Hyung”

 

Ryeowook suddenly laugh

 

“And why are you joining him?”

 

“Because it’s funny, right Bummie?”

 

Kibum nods while laughing; Jongwoon let go of Ryeowook and take a deep breath and gets the pencil and hit Kibum’s forehead

 

“Kim Kibum, don’t laugh and flirt around ok. You go back to your study and don’t give Umma and Appa head ache”

 

“Are you referring to yourself Hyung?”

 

Jongwoon frown at him

 

“YAH! Why are you talking to me like that? Who teach you to answer your handsome Hyung like that?”

 

“You’re not even handsome; well I am your brother, so I got the attitude from you because you always answer Umma and Appa that way”

 

“KIM KIBUM”

 

Jongwoon shouts at him

 

“Yes Hyung?”

 

“Go back to your study now”

Kibum smile at him, Jongwoon look at his wife who is laughing at them

 

“And as for you alien, you go back to your study and finish your homework and don’t give me head ache by wasting my money for nothing”

“I know, but I’m just saying that you need to study hard so the money that I’m using to pay your school is worth”

 

Ryeowook kissed his lips

 

“I understand and I’m not giving you headache because my grades are always high, right Bummie?”

 

Kibum nods while smiling at her. Jongwoon push Kibum’s face and give him a pencil

 

“Focus on your homework dear brother and don’t look at my wife”

 

“Arasso Hyung”

 

Kibum stuck his tongue out. Ryeowook put a pillow on Jongwoon’s lap and lay down

 

“My head is already aching. I’ll lay down for a meantime”

 

Jongwoon nods, Kibum also grab a pillow and put it on Jongwoon’s lap and lay down

 

“YAH! You stand because your head is heavy”

 

“My head is not big like yours Hyung”

 

“KIM KIBUM”

 

“I want to lie down too”

 

Kibum look at him with puppy eyes

 

“Please Hyung”

 

“Aish! You’re not my wife”

Jongwoon smile at them and continue doing his school works

 

 

 

 

Jongwoon calls his driver and asked him to drop his friends at their respective houses. He can’t leave Ryeowook and Kibum who fall asleep on his lap while studying. His friends smile at them as they watch Ryeowook and Kibum sleeping peacefully on his lap

 

“Your wife is still beautiful even when she’s asleep Oppa”

 

Victoria smile at Jongwoon and look at Kibum and giggles happily

 

“Min young and I really like your brother”

 

“Mind you this sweet brother of mine is such a private and very serious person. He tend to be snobbish and he dislikes talking with other people”

 

“OMO, then Min young and I will find it hard to be friend him”

 

Jongwoon just smile at her

 

“We’re going now Hyung, thanks for this day and it’s been a pleasure to meet your y and beautiful wife and your snobbish brother”

 

“I’m really sorry because I can’t drop you at home, but my driver is already waiting at the lobby. Please take care on your way home and I’ll see you guys next week”

 

“Ok Hyung”

 

They bid goodbye and slowly opens the door avoiding making so much noise so they won’t bother the sleeping Ryeowook and Kibum. Jongwoon was smiling while staring at them.

 

“My brother is so cute while he is asleep”

 

His phone suddenly rings

 

“Umma”

 

“Where is Bummie?”

 

“He is here, why?”

 

“Tell him to go home now because he needs to accompany me at the grocery store”

 

“Just ask Appa”

 

“Your father is in Germany right now with Hannie”

 

“Ok, but Bummie is sleeping”

Teukie arrive at the condominium with Heechul, they went inside and saw Jongwoon sitting on the floor while taking pictures of his sleeping wife and brother on his lap

“Yes, she will return to school next week mama, that’s why Bummie went here to study with her and teach her all the lessons that she missed”

Heechul hold her daughter’s face while smiling, Teukie look at Jongwoon and smile

 

“How’s school?”

 

“Great though it’s a bit tiring because of my schedules, but its fine and I love it”

 

“That’s good then”

 

Teukie and Heechul went at the kitchen to cook their dinner. Jongwoon was reading business magazine when Kibum wakes up

“OMO, Umma will be mad at me if I go home late”

“Mama and Umma is here to join us for dinner they are at the kitchen, cooking”

“I am not flirting with her; we’re just close to each other”

“Because we’re best friends and I choose it to be that way rather than losing whatever relationship we have. I don’t want that our friendship cross the boundary because I will surely lose our intimate relationship when we break up. That’s why, I choose friendship over love. I don’t want to lose the girl that I love and maybe we’re not meant to be because she’s for you and she loves you more than that I love her”

 

Jongwoon poke him

 

“You’re being serious again”

 

Kibum poke him back

 

“That’s my nature…so please love her so much Hyung. She’s one in a million and you can never find another Wookie in your life if you’ll just take her for granted”

 

“I will love her for the rest of my life”

 

“That’s good, if not, I’m really going to steal her away from you”

 

“If you can”

 

“Of course I can”

 

Kibum smile at him. Heechul went at the living room and call them for dinner

 

“I’ll go ahead Hyung because I’m hungry”

 

“Sure I’ll wake Wookie now”

 

Kibum run towards Heechul and they went at the dining room. Jongwoon kissed Ryeowook’s lips and touches her face.

 

“I’m sleeping”

 

Ryeowook push his hand away, Jongwoon lean closer and whisper

 

“Mama and Umma is here for dinner”

 

Ryeowook open her eyes slowly

 

“Let’s go now babe, dinner is ready”

 

Ryeowook stand lazily, Jongwoon stretch his legs before standing

 

“You and Bummie are really heavy”

 

Ryeowook stare at him blankly, Jongwoon kissed her

 

“But it’s fun to watch you and Bummie while you guys are asleep”

 

Jongwoon hold her hand and drag her at the dining room
