“How long will this take?” I asked, as I sat on my bed.

“About 3 hours,” the doctors answered. I checked my phone. I still have time. I really do.

“Please stay here till then. I’ll take my leave then,” The doctor smiled, and left us alone in the ward.

“Don’t even think about it,” JaeJoong sat at the nearby couch, picking up a magazine.

“Please?” I begged.

“You’re unwell. For an idol, your body is the most important thing ever. As an experienced senior, I advise you to rest and take care of your body so you can present better in front of your fans. Your fans would be worried about you too, if you want walk out of here with your pale face of yours.” JaeJoong nagged, looking up from his magazine.

“But the MC Job is very important to me.” I pouted. I was invited to be a one-day MC for the music program. JaeJoong pretended not to hear me, burying his head in the magazine.

“JaeJoong, please?” I tried to beg him again.

“No way,” JaeJoong shook his head.

“Please?” I was nearly in tears, trying to beg. JaeJoong tore his sight from the magazine, looking at me. The moment his eyes met mine, it softened. He saw those tears, those desperate desire in my eyes.

“But,” He was slowly giving in.

“I will agree to anything you say, anything.”

“Why are you so persistent on going?”

“Because it’s my first MC Job! I’m desperately anticipating it.” I said. I could even hear my own excitement in my voice.

“I could even exchange my secret for this schedule!” I promised too quickly. What the hell did I say? Gosh, I might get an earful from Ms Baek.

“Really?” JaeJoong’s eyes lit up, the corners of his mouth pulled up into a mischievous grin.

“Are you only interest in this?” I sighed, shaking my head, lying back on the bed.

“Are you serious about it?” JaeJoong smile’s spread even wider on his face.

“Pretend I have never said anything,” I closed my eyes, ignoring.

“No way, I obviously heard it. Unless you don’t want keep your promise? Looks like someone don’t wish to leave this place. I love this place though.”

“Arraso, arraso, let me go,” I whined.

“That’s my girl.” JaeJoong smiled. I stuck my tongue out at him, covering the blanket over my head. Soon, I fall asleep, letting the drip flow through my body. After 3 hours, I woke up by JaeJoong. His method of my hair to wake me up was really something unique.

I was feeling better by the end of the whole treatment, and well enough to carrying out normal activities. As promised, JaeJoong sent me to the board casting station for me to complete my schedule.

“For you,” JaeJoong handed me an energy drink.

“Thanks,” I smiled at his thoughtfulness.

“Remember your promise,” JaeJoong grinned at me, knowing he got the better end of the deal.

“Work hard!” JaeJoong gave me his last advice, ruffling my hair.
