“Kyung Me ah, can you stop being so gloomy?” Manager oppa nagged, watching me slumping on the couch of the waiting room.

“No….” I replied monotonously.

“Then can you tell me what’s wrong?”

“No….” I replied again in the same tone.

“Do you want me to call Hoya?”

“No…” I answered like a robot. “Wait, what?”

“Finally some response,” Manager oppa sighed of relief.

“You…” I scrutinized him and stuck my tongue out at him.

“Kyung Me?” Hoya’s head popped into the dressing room.

“Speak of the devil…” Manager oppa mumbled just low enough for me to hear.

“Come in and help me take care of her. I have to settle some business.” Manager oppa gave a pat on Hoya and went off.

“Are you alright?” Hoya sensed something amiss about me.

“Neh~” I replied gloomy.

“You don’t sound like it. Tell me what’s wrong.” Hoya offered help. But how could I tell him? I simply shook my head, unable to answer.

“Does it have to do with JaeJoong sunbae-nim?” Hoya asked, after awhile.

“How do you know that?” I raised my brows in surprise.

“Just guessing. So, I’m right?” Hoya smiled. I nodded, pouting.

“Long story short, I made a deal with him, but I’m regretting it now.”

“Can’t you back out?”

“Nope…” I sighed deeply.

Hoya’s sudden embrace made me even more shock. I really couldn’t exactly register Hoya’s hug in my brain. I just froze in place, not knowing how to respond back.

“Everything will be alright,” Hoya patted my back. At this moment, I just lacked the IQ to react.

“Are you still alive?” Hoya asked again as he pulled away. His expression worried for me, as I sat there dazed.

“Y…e..ah..” It was the only word that I could say.

From his hug, I received comfort and relief. Deep inside, I just earned for more.
