'Damn it! Now I can't even look at him in the eyes! Get your head straight, Lee Hongbin!' Hongbin turned wide eyes the moment a ball landed at the back of his head. His eyes were shooting daggers at the culprit. 

"What the , Wonshik?!"

"Then why the are you daydreaming in the middle of basketball court you doofus? " Hongbin cursed under his breath as he walked out of the court before taking his bag with him. Wonshik rolled his eyes in annoyance as he threw the ball to the other teammates, excusing himself and his best friend. 

"Lee Hongbin! "

"What?! "He turned his body around, only to meet with the sight of his best friend panting heavily, sweats dripping down from his face. 

"Dude, what the hell is wrong with you?  Pms?Getting sensitive just because of-"

"Shut the up, Wonshik, "

"Not until you tell me what's wrong with you, "Hongbin run his fingers through his hair, brushing the strands of hair that keep blocking his view. 

"Nothing, just forget it, "

 

 

The dimpled male fiddled with his fingers nervously as he waited anxiously for someone. 

"What is it? "Hongbin flinched at the monotonous voice as he tilted his head up, eyes meeting with the older's eyes. He mentally cursed himself as he recalled the place in his dream last night. It was this place, damn it! 

"Here, "Taekwoon quirked an eyebrow at the younger who showed him his phone. 

"I haven't deleted the recording, "with that being said, the taller male quickly snatched the phone away as his fingers busily scrolling through the younger's recording playlist. 

"Why haven't you delete it yet??? "There, done deleting. 

"It's my way of showing my sincerity. Now, won't you open up for me? "Taekwoon bursted out laughing at the words and his laughter slowly reduced to a chuckle upon seeing Hongbin's bright red ears. 

"Sorry, but I really don't like you, "

"Not a slightest bit? "

"Nope, "the shorter male clenched his jaw, feeling challenged at the fact the older didn't even showed an interest on him. 

"Just wait. I'll make you fall for Lee Hongbin, "he smirked and the older scoffed. 

"Yeah, yeah... Whatever, "

"Flowers?! Taekwoon ah, you have secret admirer?! "The taller male literally groaned at his bestfriend's loud and screeching voice. 

"Except for you, I don't think so... "Smiling bemusedly, he stared at the bouquet, practically judging it. 

"Ouch, I'm touched but sorry, I have a boyfriend already~"Taekwoon chided as he picked the bouquet, a grunt managed to slip from his lips. 

"Cut the crap. And who the is out of their mind to send flowers to a guy anyway? "Hakyeon smirked as he peeked, his hand picking out a small card. 

"Lee Hongbin... "

", "

 

"Take this goddamn flowers back, "Hongbin literally stumbled backwards due to the impact of the flowers being shoved at his chest. Ouch. 

"Ayy, what's wrong? Told you already, I'll do what it takes to make you fall for me, "Hongbin smirked almost innocently and Taekwoon found himself growing impatient at the male. 

"You're crazy and a psychopath. I DON'T LIKE YOU, "

"BUT I DO! "Taekwoon heaved out an irritated sigh loudly as he cursed under his breath. 

" this, "he walked away angrily, leaving the dimpled male to chuckle at himself. 

Hongbin flinched when he felt a tap on his shoulder, making him to turn his head at the one that kept staring at him. 

"How long have you been here? "Wonshik frowned as he replied to the male. 

"I heard everything. Dude, why are you so serious though?  I gave you the tickets already, didn't I? "Hongbin smirked as he ran his fingers through his hair. 

"I'm in deep trouble. Guess I fell for him real this time, "

 

Taekwoon groaned as he put a hand on his forehead. It has been a week of hell for him since Hongbin keep pursuing his desires for him. The younger was really stubborn and for goddamn sake, how many times do he need to reject him?! 

"I'm gonna do something about this I swear to God -"

 

"Mrs Jung, is Taekwoon hyung home? "The lady smiled brightly at the sight of the male. 

"Of course. He's in his room. Just go upstairs and I believe you still remember which one is his room, right Hongbin? "The dimpled male smiled as he nodded enthusiastically. What about a surprise visit, huh? 

He climbed on the stairs with pounding heartbeat, a smile started to form unconsciously on his lips upon reaching the older room. 

"Here we go... "Taking a deep breath, Hongbin pushed the door upon and the sight before his eyes making him to stay rooted on the ground. Taekwoon was on the ground, lying with Hyuk on top of him. Taekwoon stiffened at the other male's presence, making Hyuk to stick the sticky note on his forehead before cheering loudly. 

"I winnn, yeahhh!!! "Realising that Hongbin still staring at them, Taekwoon smiled wickedly before placing a hand behind Hyuk's neck as he pulled the younger to him. Hyuk was taken off guard the moment the older placed a quick kiss on his cheek. He blinked his eyes rapidly upon hearing someone clearing his throat. 

"Your present, Hyuk ah...oh, what are you doing here? "Hyuk let his eyes wandered towards the poker face the older put on while asking the question. 

"N-nothing. I forgot about it already. Sorry for interrupting, "

"Yeah, you clearly did interrupt us-" the door of his room was slammed shut and Taekwoon sneered. Well, that was fast... 

"What the hell was that, hyung? "Sitting up from the previous position, Taekwoon walked to his bed before lying down on it. 

"What? " the younger stared at the male suspiciously before turning it into a glare. 

"Oh come on... "

"He seems heartbroken, hyung, " Taekwoon smirked as he eyed the younger teasingly. 

"Worried much,huh?  Haven't forgotten the crush on him, didn't you? "Hyuk immediately went towards the older before giving him a loud smack on his thigh. The older of the two winced in pain. 

"Stop spitting nonsense. You shouldn't do that earlier, "

"Look, I should and in fact, that is my objective. To get him away from me. Mission accomplished, okay? "Hyuk shook his head in regret and this is one of the rarest time when he felt Taekwoon done something stupid. 

"You know, you only appreciate someone when he's no longer in front of your eyes, "Taekwoon shrugged as he quirked an eyebrow. 

"You talking about Hakyeon? "

"You're so ing stubborn, hyung, "

 

"Taekwoon ah, sit down first. I have something to ask you, "the said male quirked an eyebrow at the sudden request before obliged to it. He stared at his mother who was looking at him with her concerned eyes. 

"Eomma? "

"Did something happened between you and Hongbin, if I may ask? "Taekwoon frowned as the memory of the evening earlier flashed through his mind. Does he have to be a brat and tell everyone about it?  Ugh... 

"What do you mean? Did he said anything to you earlier? "The woman shook her head gently before putting her hand on her son's bigger hand. Taekwoon flinched when he felt something grazed against his palm. 

"That boy was in a real rush that he dropped this.His face doesn't looks like he's in a good mood too. Perhaps you can return this back for him? "Taekwoon frowned before averting his eyes towards the thing inside his palm. His eyes blinked rapidly as flashes of memories started to rush in his mind. 

 

 

10 years ago...

"Kong! "The mentioned boy turned his head around and a wide smile started to stretch across his face. He beamed happily at the walking figure. 

"Leo hyung! "The 7-years old boy chuckled as he welcomed the younger with a big hug, a chuckle escaped from his lips. 

"I told you that my name is-"

"It's hard to remember your name. Leo is easier. Let me call you like that forever~~~"the older boy ruffled the shorter male's hair affectionately as he pulled away from the hug. 

"Kong ah, why won't you tell me your real name too? "The younger boy scratched his head before grinning. 

"I like it when you call me Kong. My grandma used to call me Kong too! It's a special nickname... "The boy flashed his deep dimples and the older boy couldn't help but to stare adoringly at the younger. 

 

"Leo hyung!! "The older of the two bit his bottom lips, trying not to let his tears pour out from his eyes like the younger who literally hugging him for life. 

"Why- why would you leave me? You promised that we're going to grow up together! Why did you... "More sobs and the younger tighten his hug on the slightly taller boy's waist, burying his face in the older's chest. 

"I'm sorry, Kong. We need to move to Seoul because my father got promoted there. I'm so sorry and trust me, I wouldn't want to leave you either, "the older boy patted the younger's head gently, managed to soothe down the younger's tears. 

"How-how am I going to find you again? " the younger looked at the older with his doe-like eyes and the taller male smiled. 

"Here, take this. Keep holding to this so that we will be able to meet again, " the younger looked into his palm, revealing the shiny keychain with the shape of guitar. The younger smiled as the older picked his favourite instrument. The word Kong was perfectly written at the back making it feels like a sense of belonging towards the younger. 

"We will meet again? "

"Yes, trust me, "the younger smiled before pulling the older into one last hug. 

"I like you, hyung, "

"Me too... "

 

 

Hongbin clenched his jaw hard as he punched the mirror of his bathroom. The bleeding on his knuckles was being ignored as he let those angry tears pour from his eyes. The bleeding of his heart hurts more than anything right now. 

", why does this hurts so much?!" Ignoring his bleeding knuckles, he went to his bed and started looking for his precious belonging. Frowning, he rummaged through the bag before the whole room started to become a mess. 

"No, where is it?  I can't lose it! "The tears didn't stop even one second as he kept searching for his precious keychain. He slumped down to his knees as he bring them closer to his chest. 

"I'm sorry, Leo hyung, I'm sorry..."he buried his face in his knees and he lose track of time already when suddenly the door flung opened. 

"Eomma, appa? "

"Let's get packed, my dear. We'll be leaving here soon, "and he swore, he already feel like dying at that time. 

 

Taekwoon blinked his eyes rapidly before averting his gaze towards the younger's possession on his palm. He slowly turned the key chain and the word 'Kong' is there, beautifully written just like the time he gave it to the younger. A sudden wave of regret and guilt wash over him as he ran upstairs before locking the door of his room. Those eyes, those dimples.... No wonder.. 

"This... This... What have I done? "

We will meet again ,trust me.... 

 

 

"Let me borrow your boyfriend for a while, "Hakyeon frowned and before he managed to retort, Hyuk was already being taken away by his best friend. 

"Tch, "

"What's wrong, hyung? "The taller male stared at  the older who was looking all anxious. 

"Do you know where his class is? "

"Huh? Who-"

"Lee Hongbin! Bring me to his class, I need to meet him now, please.."Hyuk frowned before nodding to the latter.

"Why? Do you finally regretted your doings yesterday? "Taekwoon was silent along the walk and Hyuk couldn't help but to sigh inwardly at the older's behaviour. 

"Here. Try to see if he's here or not, "Taekwoon slowly peaked through the window before frowning. He tugged on Hyuk's sleeve before murmuring his disappointment. 

"I don't see him... "Hyuk rolled his eyes in annoyance before giving the older a slight knock on his head. 

"Try asking his friend then, you fool, "Taekwoon was about to retort to the younger when suddenly a deep voice beat him to it. 

"Hey, what are you guys doing here? Oh... It's Jung  Taekwoon sunbae~" Taekwoon stared at the male in confusion. 

"Who are you? "The other male chuckled before putting on a serious face. 

"Kim Wonshik, Lee Hongbin's boyfriend, "Both Hyuk and Taekwoon stared at the guy with doubts before suddenly another male appears. 

"Bull. He's my boyfriend and Hongbin's best friend. What is the deal anyway? "Taekwoon exchanged glances with the youngest and Hyuk sighed. 

"Jaehwan hyung, do you happen to know where Hongbin hyung is? "

 

Taekwoon pushed himself through the crowd as the blaring sound of announcement keep hitting his ears.Please don't go yet.. 

"Hongbin? He won't come to the school anymore. His family decided to move to the States as their business is doing well there, "

"W-what... "

"He left to the airport early in the morning and doesn't want anyone to send him away. If I was not mistaken, his flight is scheduled at 10.00 am which is half an hour from now-"

"Please cover me up. I need to get to him, "dashing towards the school gate, there was nothing that Taekwoon wished for except to see the younger again. 

His eyes darted around before stopping, fixed on a certain place. He felt his legs turned weak at the sight the moment his phone vibrated. Hyuk. 

"Hyung, where are you? "

"I- I've lost him. I've lost him, Hyuk ah... "The sadness in his voice couldn't be hide anymore as it cracked the younger's heart. 

"What do you mean, hyung? "

"He left already, his flight has already departed... "Taekwoon heard an audible sigh over the line before hearing some ruckus. 

"Hyung, he's not on the flight. He's still here, "a flicker of hope could be seen in Taekwoon's eyes and he was ready to make a dash to their school before the younger's voice interrupted his train of thoughts. 

"Hongbin hyung.. is at the hospital. Their car met with an accident on their way to-"Taekwoon doesn't need to hear that, he doesn't have to. His vision becomes blurry as the tears already started to brim in his eyes. He could almost heard his inner self mocking him. 

God has granted your wish, Taekwoon... To get him away from you... 

 

 

"Han Sanghyuk! "The said latter flinched and Hakyeon turned at him in the most confused manner. 

"Where-where is he? "

"Who? "Taekwoon stared at his best friend n disbelief. 

"Hongbin! You said that he met with an accident-"

"And only have slight injury. Hyung, next time please listen to me first before hanging up all of sudden, "Hyuk shook his head at the older before snickering. Hakyeon took the cue and stared at the taller male teasingly. 

"You sounded so worry though. Are you finally accepting him? "

"Shut up. Where is he? "

"Geez..."

 

Taekwoon walked slowly as the outline of the person he badly wanted to see is finally in front of him. He took a deep breath as his steps becoming closer to that latter. Clutching on the keychain, he called out for the younger. 

"Kong ah, "the latter flinched as his mouth muttered something out of reflex. 

"Leo- Taekwoon hyung? How-how do you know my nickname? "The older ignored the question as he took the place beside the younger. The dimpled male blinked his eyes in confusion. 

"Here, it's yours right? "He handed the key chain and Hongbin literally shouted in delight and relief at the sight of it.

"My lucky charm! Thanks hyung! "The deep dimples were obvious on his cheeks and Taekwoon couldn't hide his smile at the sight. 

"Lucky charm? "Hongbin smiled awkwardly as he scratched the back of his head in embarrassment. 

"Well, it was given by my... first love. When I was a kid, " Hongbin blinked his eyes in sudden realization. Why am I telling him about this? 

"Why did you ran away last time? "

"Last time- that... Wasn't it obvious? I'm practically third-wheeling if I stayed, "his words and tone turned into venomous as he recalled the last time incident. Taekwoon with his boyfriend! 

"What third-wheeling?  He's just my cousin, not more than that, "Hongbin turned his head at the older, brain processing at the newly found information. 

"Then why... "

"What's with your hand? Do you still go around punching the wall and mirror when you get angry?" Hongbin gulped down hard at the taller male's words. 

"How... How do you know.. "Taekwoon took a deep breath as his hands went to wrap around the younger smaller ones. 

"I'm sorry,Kong ah. I didn't keep my promises... "Hongbin's eyes went wide at the endearments as the realization hit him. 

"L-Leo hyung? "The older of the two smiled and Hongbin stiffen and unconsciously tears started to pour out from his doe-like eyes. 

"Please don't cry, Kong ah. I am so sorry... "The younger quickly wrapped an arm around the older's waist as he buried his face into Taekwoon's chest. 

"How-how is this... "Taekwoon patted the younger's head gently as he placed his chin on the crown of the younger's head. 

"Because of your lucky charm. If it weren't for it, I wouldn't have recognized that it's you, "Hongbin tilted his head upwards as he studied the older's figure. 

"I can't believe we're just close with each other but we didn't recognize each other right away, "Taekwoon chuckled before brushing the younger's hair. 

"That's because you changed so much, you fool, "

"Tch, speak for yourself hyung! " Taekwoon pulled away from the hug as he stared into the younger's eyes deeply. The dimpled male was obviously flustered judging by his redden ears. 

"Kong ah, you said that I am your first love, right? " 

"Eh, when did I - ah, that... "The blush on his face getting redder before Taekwoon suddenly cupped his face with his large hands. 

"Then... I believe your offer still stands, right? "Taekwoon smiled lovingly at the younger's confused state. He's so cute like this... 

"What offer... "

"Will you go out on a date with me? "The younger held in his smile so badly that his dimples were indenting on his cheeks. 

"Ayy... That's my line, hyung~~~"

"I took that as a yes then, "swiftly pulling the younger closer, Taekwoon immediately placed a sweet kiss on Hongbin's lips before retreating with a sly smile. 

"Sorry that I lied, I have been attracted to you already since you got my forehead bleeding, "he chuckled as Hongbin ducked his head in embarrassment. 

"Yah, you put me in a great trouble there,Jung Taekwoon!"
