"Im Yoona! You better move fast if you don't wanna be late! Being late to your job interview is a big no-no!" Sunny, my bestfriend whom I shared an apartment with, yelled from the kitchen as I was busy checking my look in front of the mirror.

"Yes, I know! You don't have to remind me many times Sunny Lee!" I retorted before picking up my handbag and folder and hurried out of the room. "So? How do I look?"

"Nervous."

"Not that. I already know I'm nervous."

"Fine. You look perfect."

"Thanks. That's more encouraging than the first. By the way, just to remind you, it isn't a job interview I'm going to. It's orientation Sunny. I already got accepted for the job remember?"

"Yeah, yeah. By sheer luck you got accepted."

I slapped her lightly on the upper arm after saying that it's sheer luck that earned me my new job. "You really never make yourself proud of me this time. Okay, I gotta go. See you later!"

"Bye! Good luck!"

"Thanks!"

My heart felt like in a race as I was walking towards the office of Mitoba Land Holdings' president. Mitoba is a company that builds estates and condominiums in different parts of South Korea. I got accepted as a new secretary in the Engineering Department. 

"You can do it Yoona. Fighting!" I told myself before getting inside Mr. Mitoba's office. He is a Japanese businessman whose mother is a South Korean. He is fifty years old based on what I've read on magazines. 

"Good morning Ms. Im!" he greeted after gesturing me to have a seat.

"Good morning, President," I greeted in return, trying to be more calm as possible.

"You must have been surprised to get informed that I'll be orienting you for your job."

"In all honesty sir, I really was surprised when I was told about it. But it is an honor as well."

He flashed me with the same smile he gave during the interview. A smile that made him look younger...and more attractive.
