Who You?

Fall For You

The next time Mingyu saw Soonyoung, his first thought was to turn around and head the other direction, just in case Jihoon was still mad or upset with him. He changed tracks when he saw that his hyung was alone and looked like he was sketching the scenery. Soonyoung looked up from his sketch pad, eyes focused on the view until he spotted Mingyu in his periphery, waving his arms enthusiastically as he called out the younger's name.

"Hey yo, Mingyu!" Soonyoung exclaimed.

Mingyu chuckled, jogging to the spot where his hyung was sitting. "Hey, hyung."

Soonyoung smiled up at him. As usual, Soonyoung was sitting on the grass even when the bench behind him was completely empty with all of his art supplies littered around him. Mingyu glanced at the sketch pad and saw that his hyung was using charcoal as his medium for his current work.

"How is it?" Soonyoung asked when he caught Mingyu looking.

"It looks good but different? That is the Music Department right?" Mingyu asked, staring at the drawing.

"Yeah but in all of its former glory. Did you know that I was supposed to be in the same building as Jihoon? Pledis didn't have that much funds before so all the art courses like music, architecture, performing arts and the rest had just one building which is where the Music Department stands." Soonyoung sighed. "That could have made waiting for Jihoon's class to end much easier."

"Or sneaking into his class." Mingyu added. He rolled his eyes when Soonyoung just nodded. "How did you even know that? I didn't think you were that into history."

Soonyoung laughed. "Jihoonie told me. He's more into history than I'll ever be." He hummed, sketching a few more details. "Our theme was a restoration piece so I chose this building."

Mingyu nodded. "That makes sense." He looked around. "So, where is Jihoon hyung?"

"Hopefully asleep. They have a composition due tomorrow and he's been editing and reediting the song he made so I told him to sleep."

"He's probably at his studio again though."

"Yeah, probably." Soonyoung looked up at the building. "It wouldn't be Jihoon if he wasn't a perfectionist. I'm nearly done anyway. I'm making him sleep one way or another."

Mingyu hummed in acknowledgement. Wonwoo was very busy with his business proposal as well and he wondered if he should check if his boyfriend was getting enough sleep. He had been spending more time in Wonwoo's place as part of his 'making it up to you' and Hansol hadn't punched him so it was good.

"Your nose is all good." Soonyoung commented, eyes not leaving his sketchpad.

Mingyu rubbed his nose as he nodded. "Yeah, it is. Hansol hasn't punched me again either so I think it's good to say that it's fully recovered."

"So, you and Wonwoo completely okay now? You've told him all about Doyoon hyung?"

"Yes to the we're completely okay part but no to the second. I tried but he said that he doesn't even want to know the name or he'll just find out who."

"He could just ask me or Jihoon though."

"I guess he really just wants to forget about it." Mingyu shrugged. Whenever he tried to bring up the subject, Wonwoo would loudly call out Hansol or make up an excuse that didn't make sense.

Soonyoung frowned at his drawing. "Or he's scared. I thought Wonwoo had a fight instinct but what he's doing is more a flight instinct."

Mingyu raised an eyebrow. "You're sounding really smart today. You okay?"

The older laughed. "Yeah, I am. I just happened to watch that on the TV and thought it was interesting." He looked at Mingyu. "You and Jihoon have a flight instinct. It's when faced with a problem or when surprised, your body immediately tells you to bolt. It's an instinct common in preys."

Mingyu made a face. "I'm not sure if I like that comparison. And fight instinct?"

" Well, we stay basically. On their experiment, the people who had fight instinct got into a fighting stance or attacked the person who jumped at them. I think it's more common in people who do martial arts so I thought Wonwoo had it too."

Mingyu nodded, mulling about what his hyung said. He wasn't going to question that he had a flight instinct but he was pretty sure Wonwoo didn't have the same instinct. He could see it in the way the older acted around everyone else especially Hansol. Maybe Wonwoo just thought the matter was over since Mingyu basically just leave for classes and getting some clothes. His unit was starting to feel colder and colder every time he went back.

"Maybe he's waiting for you to do something though." Soonyoung added. "It could be that too."

Mingyu groaned, feeling his head start to hurt. "Can we stop? You're not a psych major. Stick to drawing."

Soonyoung laughed. "Okay, okay. I'm sorry. I guess I'm just... " he sighed as he pulled out his phone. He stared at Jihoon's face before sighing again. "I'm trying to understand Jihoon even more. I'm trying to find a way for him to be less insecure."

The younger nodded, not really knowing what to say.

"Even though it isn't fair, I'm starting to hate Doyoon hyung too. Jihoon was never the most confident person but seeing my past come back as a person made him even less. I'm at a loss. I want my Jihoon back. He's scared of getting mad at me even when I do something stupid."

"I think..." Mingyu closed his eyes, remembering the feeling of jealousy and insecurity that he felt when that Sehun guy was flirting with Wonwoo. "He just needs to feel that he's safe with you. When you two get home tonight, just lay down and hug him tightly. I mean, it works for me." Mingyu finished, blushing as he realized what he admitted. He had never said those words to Wonwoo but he said it to his hyung.

"Oh." Soonyoung smirked. "Wonwoo doesn't just hug you though. Don't think Jisoo hyung and I don't notice your hickeys at work."

The younger blushed even more, hand going up to his neck. The mark was already starting to fade but Mingyu developed the habit of touching them when he felt scared or nervous. The marks felt like reassurances from Wonwoo even when the older wasn't there. "I like them though." He admitted. "It's a physical claim that Wonwoo has me. Maybe Jihoon hyung should give you some as well."

"Jihoon doesn't like getting marked. He doesn't wear clothes that shows them anyway."

"You could make it higher on his neck. Besides, I said he should mark you, not you. Hyung, everyone in the campus knows you love Jihoon hyung. You never fail to announce it when you can."

Soonyoung nodded though there was a faraway look in his eyes. The two of them just sat there in silence while Soonyoung finished his sketch. When the older was done, he sighed loudly before falling on the grass. Mingyu just stared at his hyung before following suit. The people passing by were giving them judging stares but the feeling of the grass under them felt nice, ticklish almost and the sky looked lovely so Mingyu didn't really care.

"You're actually starting to sound wise and mature." Soonyoung said after minutes of just staring at the sky.

Mingyu hummed. "Wonwoo must be rubbing off of me."

"Maybe some of my confidence could rub off Jihoon too."

"That would be nice but weird." Mingyu chuckled. "I can't imagine hyung being as confident as you."

The older made a protesting sound. "I don't want him to be that confident. Just enough for him to see that I'm the lucky one in the relationship or at least that we're equals."

Mingyu nodded, making better sense of what his hyung was saying. "You know it's odd that Jihoon hyung calls you idiot a lot but thinks so highly of you."

"Isn't it?" Soonyoung hummed. "I like being called an idiot though. There's always some underlying fond somewhere." He suddenly sat up, quickly cleaning up his supplies. "All of this Jihoon talk is making me miss my boyfriend even more so I should probably check on him." He stuffed all of the things in his bag; no doubt Jihoon would scold his boyfriend for that later. "Bye, Gyu!"

Mingyu nodded, watching as Soonyoung ran in the direction of the small studio Jihoon had discovered. He considered getting up and get a move on as well but he was still enjoying the view. So instead of that, he simply took a picture of the sky, sending it to Wonwoo.

Mingyu waited for the other to reply, sighing deeply when there still wasn't any after a few minutes. He checked his phone for the time, frowning when he saw that it was already after 3 in the afternoon. Wonwoo had been in the library first thing in the morning, leaving Mingyu alone with a very unhappy Hansol. Mingyu had to eat breakfast while the younger muttered about unattended dongsaengs. Mingyu volunteered to do the dishes in case Hansol added that to the list of his sulking.

Mingyu suddenly got up, a flash of idea hitting him. Seven hours of researching should be more than enough for Wonwoo's proposal. He planned on heading to the library, kidnap his boyfriend then bring him somewhere to eat. It was a pretty romantic plan and Mingyu couldn't help but be proud of himself. He got up from the ground, removing any stray grass bits on his clothes.

Mingyu was already on his way to the library when he saw Seungcheol playing alone in the court. He wondered if he should say hi but fate already decided for him when the older stopped mid dribble and just stared at Mingyu. There was a silent challenge in Seungcheol's eyes so Mingyu had no choice but to make his way over. As he was walking, Mingyu wondered if there was a chance he would get punched today. There was no doubt that Hansol had ratted him out to Seungcheol and the closer Mingyu got, the more nervous he became as well.

"I'm not going to punch you." Seungcheol said when Mingyu was close enough to. Mingyu heaved a sigh of relief at that. "Hansol said he already did."

"Yeah, he did." Mingyu said, eyeing Seungcheol warilym if the older didn't want to punch him, then why did he call for him?

"Hansol also said that you've been spending a lot of time at their place." He tilted his head to the side. "Is it part of apologizing to Wonwoo?"

Mingyu nodded slowly. He wasn't sure what the right answer was so he had to settle for being honest.

"Is that it? I mean you have to do better than that." Seungcheol huffed, dribbling the ball. "You basically cheated on Won and that's all you're going to do?"

"I don't know what to do to make up for it, hyung." Mingyu admitted. "I can't even finish explaining myself since Wonwoo keeps cutting me off."

"He's probably scared that you'll just think about whoever that bastard is even more and replace him." Seungcheol chuckled at Mingyu's incredulous look. "It's stupid, isn't it? He's dumb like that." He sighed deeply. "I can't even get mad at you properly since you look so helpless right now."

"Er, thanks I think?" Mingyu cleared his throat and stood up straighter. Seungcheol was his boyfriend's best friend; he should get on the older's good side. "Seungcheol hyung, I'm sorry for hurting Wonwoo and making him cry. I didn't mean to but that isn't a good excuse."

"You bet it isn't." Seungcheol said, much more serious than he was before. "Won is the most important person in my life and the last time someone broke his heart, I had to see him struggle to pull himself back together. If you making him cry is going to be a regular thing then I suggest just go now."

There was that feeling again, the feeling that maybe there was something more between Wonwoo and Seungcheol. It was in the way the older spoke; Mingyu knew how best friends could be but the way Seungcheol talked about Wonwoo was slightly different. Mingyu was dying to ask Wonwoo about it and had almost tried a couple of times already but he was scared of the answer. If Seungcheol had been someone more than a best friend for Wonwoo, Mingyu wouldn't know how to react. He didn't think he could handle someone that had been more for his boyfriend around said boyfriend a lot but at the same time, he was sure Wonwoo would get mad if he had to choose between Mingyu and Seungcheol.

"Yah, are you even listening?!" Seungcheol exclaimed.

Mingyu blinked. He hadn't noticed how long he had been thinking. "Oh. Huh? Yeah, I am." He stood at his full height, very grateful that he was taller than Seungcheol. This made the whole thing less intimidating at least. "No, I don't plan on making Wonwoo cry regularly. If I had my way, this would be the first and last."

Seungcheol stared at Mingyu for a long moment before nodding slightly. His eyes still looked guarded and the younger wondered what was going on in the other's mind. He could ask Seungcheol about him and Wonwoo but it didn't feel right. If he had to hear about it, he wanted it to be from Wonwoo himself.

"Whatever. So, you're a beanpole so you must be good at basketball. What about a few baskets?" Seungcheol finally said, breaking the silence. He passed the ball to Mingyu with an expectant expression.

Mingyu caught the ball easily, heavy feeling still in his chest. He didn't know if he should play along but it seemed like he had no choice. He placed his bag on the bench beside what he assumed to be Seungcheol's bag as well and then they started playing. Seungcheol played roughly that Mingyu couldn't keep up for the first few minutes. When the older had 'accidentally' pushed him for the nth time, Mingyu snapped and started playing just as rough.

Their playing of basketball somehow felt like they were fighting but instead of direct attacks, they used blockings and pushes. It was tiring but neither of them was slowing down or giving way. In Mingyu's mind, it was a fight for Wonwoo so of course he wouldn't give up. It was that thought that motivated him. He wondered whether Seungcheol was thinking of the same thing and again, there was that confusion on just what Seungcheol felt for Wonwoo.

"Y-you're not half bad." Seungcheol said, panting as the two of them lay starfish on the court's floor.

Mingyu closed his eyes, trying to even out his breathing. "D-ditto."

No one said anything for a few minutes and only the harsh sound of their breathing could be heard. When Mingyu's heart had stopped hammering and his vision stopped getting blurry around the edges, he sat up slowly, careful not to make any sudden movements that would make him dizzy. Seungcheol was still sprawled out on the floor but he was staring up at the ceiling.

"You know, Wonwoo had always been into sporty guys." Seungcheol said as if he wasn't completely there. "He said that he wanted a boyfriend that was stronger than him."

Mingyu swallowed uncomfortably, his throat feeling strangely dry. "Ah..." he trailed off since he wasn't sure how to respond to that.

Seungcheol glanced at Mingyu. "The next time you make Wonwoo cry, I'm breaking your face, no matter how good looking you are, got it?"

"The next time I make him cry, I'll look for you so you can do that." Mingyu nodded, meaning every word of it. He couldn't help but smile when he saw the amused smirk Seungcheol gave him. "Thanks for calling me good looking by the way. You're not half bad yourself, hyung."

The older scoffed. "Don't get cocky on me, kid. If you were ugly, I wouldn't allow you to date Won."

Mingyu hummed. "It's a good thing I'm handsome then." He chuckled when Seungcheol just scoffed again and rolled his eyes. "By the way, I have something to tell you, hyung."

"What is it? If you're actually cheating on Wonwoo, I swear to God, Mingyu..." Seungcheol hissed, eyes narrowing.

Mingyu held up his hands. "I'm not cheating on Wonwoo, I swear!"

"Intentionally you mean." Seungcheol made a dismissive motion. "Anyway, you were saying?"

"What do you mean by intentionally?"

The older shrugged. "Forget it and tell me what you have to tell me."

Mingyu frowned, eyebrows raising but he had to settle for a nod since Seungcheol didn't look like he would be answering anyway. "Fine." He sighed. "I'm not going anywhere, hyung."

" What?"

"I'm not leaving Wonwoo even if I make him cry again which I hope wouldn't happen. As long as Wonwoo wants me with him, I'm not leaving." Mingyu said with finality.

The thought had been running through his mind since the two of them started playing. Wonwoo was his boyfriend therefore the only one who could tell him whether he should go or not. Mingyu didn't plan on hurting or making Wonwoo cry again but some things were out of his control so he didn't want to promise anything and just break it again.

"You better not make him cry still." Seungcheol said, heaving a deep sigh. "I can't say anything to that now, can I? You are the boyfriend after all."

"Yeah, I am." Mingyu said as he got up. "Anyway, I originally planned on kidnapping Wonwoo from the library. He should be dying of boredom right now. Want to join me?"

Seungcheol stood up as well, shaking his head. "Nah, I have a project due tomorrow. I can walk with you until the library though. My place with Jun is along the same direction anyway."

Mingyu followed Seungcheol to the still empty bench and got their things. Mingyu hated playing sports on the spot since he usually didn't have any extra clothes and he was already feeling sticky. He was surprised when the older handed him his extra towel. It was a small thing but it was from Wonwoo's best friend so it was quite a great thing for Mingyu.

Eventually their hunger got the best of them and they had to stop to buy something to eat. As they were eating their snacks, Mingyu saw Doyoon coming out of his and Jisoo's building. Mingyu was torn between calling out to the older and having to explain to Seungcheol who Doyoon was or just ignore Doyoon which would be rude and would result to the older whining about it later. Mingyu decided that a small wave would be acceptable.

" You should get some for Wonwoo too. He likes this." Seungcheol said, pointing to the deep fried shrimp tempura.

" Oh. Okay. One order please." Mingyu quickly said.

He turned to where Doyoon was, hand poised to wave at the other when he saw Doyoon staring at Seungcheol. Doyoon's eyes narrowed as if he was making sure it really was Seungcheol before widening when the realization sank in. Mingyu expected Doyoon to come over; maybe he had met Seungcheol during his first time at Pledis. What Mingyu didn't expect was for the older to run away, pushing away the people in his way. To say that it was odd was definitely an understatement.

"You okay?" Seungcheol asked, nudging the younger.

Mingyu's brows furrowed, eyes flitting back from where Doyoon used to be and to Seungcheol. "Uh..."

"What? Is there something on my face or what?"

"No..? I mean,no, there's nothing there." Mingyu said as he looked back to where Doyoon used to be. "Nothing anymore."

Seungcheol looked to where Mingyu was looking at, frowning when he didn't see anything. "What are you looking at?"

Mingyu shook his head. "It's nothing. Forget it." He paid for the snacks, taking Wonwoo's food as well. "Let's go. My boyfriend must be starving."

Mingyu was quiet the rest of the way to the library, too busy thinking about Doyoon's reaction when he saw Seungcheol. It reminded him of when they had met and Seungcheol's name had come up. Doyoon had froze and Mingyu had brushed it off as nothing at that time but connecting it with what happened today, he knew it definitely wasn't nothing. He was about to bring out his phone to text Doyoon when someone tackled him with a hug. Even if all he could see was the mop of black hair, Mingyu was sure who it was.

"Hello to you too, Wonwoo." Mingyu chuckled as he wrapped his free hand across the older's waist.

Wonwoo pulled back with a wide grin on his face. "Hey, baby! We finished our proposal!"

"Yes, Seungcheol, hello to you as well." Seungcheol commented, rolling his eyes.

Wonwoo detached himself from Mingyu which made the younger frown; he was enjoying their moment. "Hey, Cheol!" Wonwoo said, punching Seungcheol's arm gently. "We finally finished our proposal!"

"So I've heard." Seungcheol smiled, ruffling Wonwoo's hair. "Good job, Won."

"Thanks, Cheol." Wonwoo beamed.

Mingyu cleared his throat. He was the boyfriend so why was he feeling like the third wheel somehow? "I brought you food."

Wonwoo looked at the plastic bag in Mingyu's hand before reaching out for it. "Food!" He called out cutely. He pouted when Mingyu pulled it away. "Gyu, I'm starving. Give it to me."

"What's the magic word?" The younger said playfully, enjoying how cute his boyfriend was being.

"Disgusting." Seungcheol said. "I'm leaving before you guys get even more disgusting." He gave Wonwoo a quick hug, nodding at Mingyu before leaving.

Mingyu frowned again. There should be a code on what and what not to do when your best friend's boyfriend was around. Then again, he remembered how clingy Soonyoung could be regardless of Jihoon and/or Wonwoo's presence so he couldn't really say anything.

"Can I have my food now?" Wonwoo asked, nudging Mingyu.

Mingyu shook his head. "You still haven't given the password."

The older whined. "You never told me any passwords."

"Think about it." Mingyu shrugged. He was actually winging it since he really didn't have a password in mind. He would just have to wait for something he liked.

Wonwoo pouted even more. "Mingyuuuu!"

"Wonwooooo." Mingyu said, imitating the older. He laughed when Wonwoo hit his arm.

"You're such a mean person." Wonwoo huffed, turning his back away.

Mingyu hummed. "Yes but I'm the mean person that has your food so you better start guessing the password if you want to eat."

Wonwoo kept quiet, back still turned from Mingyu and the younger wondered if he went overboard. Wonwoo must be tired from researching all day. Just as Mingyu was about to relent and hand over the food, Wonwoo suddenly turned around, grabbing fistfuls of the younger's shirt and kissed him. Mingyu's brain short circuited for a bit, not expecting that at all only to snap out of it when Wonwoo started nipping on his lips.

"Did I get the password right?" Wonwoo asked as he pulled back, smirking as he looked over at Mingyu.

"Y-you... you're such a cheater." Mingyu said, still feeling dazed. He must have been quite a sight since Wonwoo wouldn't stop smirking smugly.

"I'm hungry, baby. I gotta do what I gotta do." Wonwoo winked, removing his hands from the younger's shirt to grab the plastic bag. He peeked inside, grinning. "My favorite! Thanks, Mingyu!" He kissed the other's cheek.

"What do I do with you?" Mingyu said with exasperated fondness.

Wonwoo looked at him confusedly before digging into the food. Mingyu settled for giving his boyfriend a back hug while the older ate. He listened to Wonwoo talk about the things he did that day, making Mingyu frown a bit since it sounded like the older worked really hard today. Since he couldn't do anything about it anymore, he settled for nuzzling against the older's cheek, smiling when Wonwoo further leaned back to him. Mingyu definitely wouldn't trade this for anything in the world.

To: Doyoon hyung

Hey hyung..

You okay? You kinda bolted from me earlier

Don't tell me you didn't see me

Cause you clearly did...

Did it have something to do with Seungcheol hyung? O.o

"Oh you're still here."

Mingyu looked up from his phone and saw Hansol standing at the doorway. "Hey. Welcome back."

Hansol looked around. "Yeah, yeah. Where's hyung?"

"Sleeping. He finally finished their proposal so he's pretty beat." Mingyu glanced at the clock. "I should head to work soon too. I was just waiting for you to get home."

Hansol nodded, shifting his weight from one foot to another. "Thanks."

"It's nothing."

The younger sighed. "I meant thanks for putting up with me and all. Seungkwan told me before that Wonwoo hyung would have a hard time finding a boyfriend since I'm very clingy and protective of him but well, there's you."

Mingyu chuckled, crossing the room to pat Hansol's head. "You're all of those and more but you're Wonwoo's brother so I don't mind. You're actually pretty alright when you're not being a brat. Don't sweat it. I'm not leaving your brother."

Hansol grinned at him, relief evident in his features. "You're sort of decent as well, hyung."

Mingyu rolled his eyes, accepting it as the best compliment he could get from Hansol as of now. He remembered about Doyoon bolting that afternoon and wondered just how it was connected to Seungcheol. "Hey, Hansol. You've known Wonwoo and Seungcheol hyung for a year right?"

"Yeah, more or less, why?"

"So you met them when you were in high school?"

"Yeah, it was on the final year of high school. The hyungs were in college by then though."

"You went to their high school though?"

"Yeah, Mansae High School, why again?"

Mingyu shook his head, storing the information away for later. "I was just curious." He looked at the clock again. "I'm going to be late! Let me see. You're home. Wonwoo's sleeping. Okay, everything's good. Make sure Wonwoo eats something when he wakes up please."

"Yeah, I got it. Say hi to the hyungs for me." Hansol replied.

Mingyu gave him a nod and rushed off to Shining Diamond. He arrived just on time but both Jisoo and Soonyoung were there already. He waved to Jonghyun in the office before getting ready for his shift.

"Hey, hey." Soonyoung greeted, moving around Mingyu to start on their mixers.

Mingyu nodded. "Hey, hyung. I actually didn't expect you to be here. Is Jihoon hyung resting?"

"Yeah, he was asleep when I left for work. Actually, I got here earlier because I might make noises that would wake him up."

"How considerate of you, Soonyoung. Good job." Jisoo commented as he sat down at the bar. He looked at Mingyu. "Came from Wonwoo's place?"

"Yeah, he was asleep when I left too. Too tired from doing the business proposal." Mingyu answered.

Jisoo hummed. "It can be tiring." He tilted his head. "You're over at Wonwoo's place a lot. Doyoon said he barely sees you at your place anymore."

"You should just move in together then." Soonyoung suggested. "It's much easier than rushing back to your place just to shower and change clothes."

"Eh, I don't want to rush to things. I don't mind going back and forth anyway." Mingyu answered with a shrug. It was a nice idea though and he wouldn't mind doing it in the future. "Speaking of Doyoon hyung, have any idea where he went in high school?"

Jisoo pursed his lips. "Uh, if I'm not mistaken it was Man... something?"

"Mansae?" Mingyu asked, a smile spreading across his face.

Jisoo snapped his fingers, nodding. "Mansae, yeah! I knew it was Man something."

"Why do you want to know anyway?" Soonyoung asked.

"Because I have a theory."

Mingyu told them about what happened earlier and how Doyoon reacted. He also told them when they had first mentioned Seungcheol and Doyoon froze. Both Jisoo and Soonyoung looked thoughtful, obviously thinking about what connection the two could have.

"Maybe Seungcheol bullied him in his first year here?" Jisoo suggested.

Soonyoung chuckled. "I highly doubt Seungcheol could actually bully someone. Maybe they dated?"

Mingyu grinned. "That was my theory! Listen, Doyoon hyung and I had a serious talk and he told me that he dated someone for seven years." He paused when Soonyoung let out a long whistle. "Shocking isn't it?"

"You tell me. Huh, guess he wasn't always a flirt then." Soonyoung answered. "I wonder what it'll be like when Jihoon and I have been together for that long."

"Hopefully with less fighting." Jisoo answered with a smile. "But wow, seven years. I knew Doyoon was a great guy. Anyway, it fits doesn't it? Seven years so that started from middle school?"

"Around that time, yeah." Mingyu nodded. "The way Doyoon hyung talked about his ex it was obvious that he still loves the guy. We could try and get them back together!"

"How are you so sure it's Seungcheol?" Soonyoung asked. There was a look on the older's face that Mingyu didn't like. "Uh, what if Jisoo hyung was right and Seungcheol bullied him before? It wouldn't be a good thing for Doyoon hyung."

"But you said he doesn't look like he could actually bully someone?" Jisoo asked confusedly. "Stop changing your mind."

Soonyoung chewed on his lower lip before sighing. "Okay yeah. So how are we going to get them together?"

"Yeah, Doyoon shouldn't be that much of a problem since we're close to him but how are you going to get Seungcheol to go with it? Who broke up with who anyway?" Jisoo answered.

Mingyu sighed. "Doyoon hyung ran away and just left Pledis."

Soonyoung frowned. "That doesn't sound like a person you want to get back together with. We might have to kidnap Seungcheol before they could happen."

"Wonwoo might be willing to help. But since Doyoon hyung hurt his best friend, we might have to keep it under wraps." Mingyu said, mentally planning it already.

The three of them jumped when Jonghyun slammed his hand on the bar, telling them to finish getting ready. During the night, they started making plans on how and where they could set the two up. Jisoo said it shouldn't be somewhere obviously couple-y since Wonwoo would have a hard time bringing Seungcheol there. Doyoon would probably figure out what was happening and bail out as well. Soonyoung mostly kept quiet, keeping whatever he was thinking of to himself which made Mingyu nervous. Soonyoung was unusually insightful; whatever it was that he was thinking of, it must be something big.

"I still don't get why you work here when you're stinking rich. We could be asleep right now but no, I'm here because you're not home." Jihoon said the moment he sat down at the bar. "I'm not even amused at the cat calls I'm getting here anymore."

"Who dare try to hit on you? Point it out." Soonyoung hissed, eyes darting around the room.

Jihoon waved at Jisoo who was at the stage, nodding at Mingyu. "I didn't look, Youngie. Stop it." He turned to Mingyu. "Hansol said you don't think he's completely bratty."

"I don't." Mingyu answered. "Wow Hansol basically announces everything."

"He's a talkative kid when he's comfortable with you." Jihoon shrugged, smiling when Soonyoung gave him a kiss on his forehead when he passed by. He watched his boyfriend making drinks for a bit before looking back at Mingyu. "And you're completely okay with Wonwoo now. That's good too."

"Yeah, it is." Mingyu quickly checked his phone to see if he had any messages. "He should still be sleeping."

"Gyu here has a theory which you should he interested in." Soonyoung said after he finished with the orders.

"What is it?" Jihoon asked.

Mingyu tapped his fingers on the counter, unsure if he should tell Jihoon. "I think Doyoon used to date Seungcheol."

"I... didn't know they knew each other." Jihoon said confusedly. "How is this interesting though? They're both flirts; they've probably dated a lot of people."

Soonyoung chuckled. "They probably dated for seven years, baby. I think that is pretty interesting."

"Seven years?! The two of them?! What?! Are you sure?!" Jihoon exclaimed, frowning when his boyfriend started cooing at him. "Shut up, Kwon."

"Yeah, Doyoon hyung told me that he dated someone for seven years." Mingyu answered.

Jihoon blinked, brows furrowing. "And why do you think it's Seungcheol? Did he tell you that as well?"

"They went to the same high school together and earlier today, Doyoon saw me with Seungcheol hyung earlier, recognized him and ran away." Mingyu explained. "He looked pretty scared which is sort of understandable considering how they ended."

Jihoon nodded slowly, processing what the younger said. "Okay so what do we about it?"

"We should get them back together or at least, give them proper closure." Mingyu nodded determinedly.

Jihoon's eyes widened before exchanging looks with Soonyoung. Mingyu watched as the two of them had a silent conversation. Mingyu wondered what Jihoon suddenly thought of since he still didn't get whatever it was.

"And how will we do that?" Jihoon asked carefully.

"We still have no idea." Soonyoung answered. "Got any ideas, babe?"

Jihoon chewed on his bottom lip, mulling it over. "They could... talk at Jam Jam? Wonwoo could bring Seungcheol there and since he works there, it wouldn't be that weird. We just have to bring Doyoon hyung there."

"Jisoo hyung and I can handle that." Mingyu assured. "That's actually a good idea. Thanks, Jihoon hyung."

"Whatever makes Doyoon go away from you then sure." Jihoon shrugged. "Let's just hope you're right."

--

"Where are we going again?" Doyoon asked as he got pulled along by Mingyu.

"Jam Jam. It's a breakfast place and you'll love it. I'm sure." Mingyu assured him.

Doyoon raised an eyebrow. "And you said Jihoon would be there? Are you sure that's a good idea?"

Mingyu chuckled, nodding. "Soonyoung hyung will be there as well so you don't have to worry. Hyung will be on his best behavior."

They had decided that all of them would be accompanying Doyoon and Seungcheol on their supposed to be meeting. Junghan and Jihoon said that they didn't mind joining as well since they were very curious about the whole thing as well. It was slightly harder to convince Wonwoo to make Seungcheol visit him since Mingyu just made up random nonsense about wanting to be close to his boyfriend's best friend. In the end though, Wonwoo said that he would invite Seungcheol to Jam Jam so everything's set.

"Gyu, over here!" Jisoo called out when the two had entered Jam Jam.

Doyoon gawked when he saw Jihoon. "Wow, I didn't think you were serious. Jihoon really is here."

Mingyu rolled his eyes, heading to the said table. Doyoon quickly took a seat beside Jisoo while Mingyu sat down beside Jihoon. No one said anything and Mingyu mentally rolled his eyes. It was so obvious that this was staged; Doyoon was already looking around suspiciously.

"Welcome to Jam Jam! What will you be having today?" Minki appeared just in time when the silence was getting unbearable. "Hey, Junghan."

"Hey, Minki. I forgot you were working here." Junghan said, waving at the other.

"You know each other?" Doyoon asked, looking back and forth the two. "Well, you do look alike."

"Minki's my cousin." Junghan grinned.

Jisoo nodded, smiling at his boyfriend's cousin. "Hi, Minki. I'm Jisoo, Junghan's boyfriend."

"Oh I know you. Junghan talks a lot about you." Minki giggled. "You're more handsome in person." He smiled warmly. "Anyway, what will you be having?"

Mingyu let the others order before him as he looked around the restaurant, trying to see a familiar figure but he couldn't. He checked the clock and saw that Wonwoo should be here by now. He stopped looking around when Jihoon nudged him. Everyone was looking at him even Minki who had an amused smile on his face.

"What'll you have?" Minki asked patiently.

Mingyu looked down at the menu. "Uh.."

"I'll get your boyfriend's favorite recommendation, okay?" Minki giggled again, writing down the order. "Lover boy is on the other side today. I'm surprised you sat down here. Let me see if I can get him to deliver your food instead. Be right back!" He gave Junghan one last wave before heading off.

Doyoon poked Mingyu's hand. "Your boyfriend works here? Is that why we're eating here? Because the food will be free?"

Soonyoung laughed. "Mingyu wouldn't be a good boyfriend if he did that."

"Aw, oh well." Doyoon shrugged. "Wait ...." he trailed off, eyes widening. "Is your boyfriend going to punch me? Oh my God, I did not clean up to get beaten up."

Mingyu scoffed. "I highly doubt that." Though now that Doyoon mentioned it, there was a possibility of that happening.

Somehow, that served as the ice breaker and conversation flowed much easier in the table. Junghan kept talking to Jihoon while Soonyoung joked around with Doyoon. Jisoo and Mingyu just sat there quietly, adding something every now and then. Mingyu kept looking around for Wonwoo, happening to catch Jisoo's eye at one instance. His hyung nodded at him, smiling understandingly.

Doyoon excused himself when Minki arrived with some of their orders to go to the bathroom. Minki told Doyoon the directions, winking at Mingyu when he said that the rest of their orders would be arriving soon. That must mean Wonwoo would be there soon and the younger subtly started fixing his hair and trying to look like he wasn't waiting.

"Smooth." Soonyoung teased.

Mingyu scoffed. "Shut up."

"Good morning, dear sirs. The rest of your food is here. Sorry for the wait." Wonwoo said as he placed their orders on the table. "Morning, baby." He said, smiling gently at Mingyu.

"Morning." Mingyu said, smiling back dopily.

Jihoon chuckled. "Yes, good morning. God, stop staring at each other like that."

"It's adorable though!" Junghan protested. "I missed watching my babies be this cute."

Wonwoo chuckled, talking with Junghan and Jisoo for a few minutes since they haven't seen each other in a while. Mingyu had already started eating his food quite awkwardly since he was holding onto Wonwoo's as well. Minki appeared, tapping Wonwoo and saying that he was needed at his station. Mingyu let out a loud whine when the older started pulling away.

"I really have to go, Gyu. You heard Minki hyung." Wonwoo said, trying to pull his hand away.

Mingyu huffed. "Fine, choose your job over me." He said, suddenly letting go of Wonwoo's hand.

Wonwoo would have fallen on the floor if someone hadn't caught him from behind. Mingyu saw Doyoon holding onto Wonwoo, a fond smile gracing Doyoon's lips. What the heck? He had never seen Doyoon look at anything or anyone like that.

"Still so clumsy." Doyoon started, gently pushing Wonwoo upright. "You're lucky I caught you."

"D-doyoon?" Wonwoo stammered out.

Doyoon grinned widely, grabbing Wonwoo's hand. "Hi there, sweetheart. I'm back."
