It was getting late and you were in the bathroom taking a nice, hot and extremely refreshing shower. The cut on your wrist had healed up well, but a scar was still visible. Your beaten and bruised body eased up and you felt relaxed. Once finished, you changed into your pajamas and opened the bathroom door. Kai was sitting on the edge of the bed, facing you with a not so happy expression. 

"What?" You asked as you dried your wet hair with your towel. 

"Took your time." He stood up from the bed and entered the bathroom grumpily. You sighed and laid down on your bed, tossing the towel on the floor. Not really caring if you were adding to the mess you have made of his bedroom. 

Minutes passed and Kai finished showering. He switched the light off without saying a word and slid in bed beside you. He had his back facing you and you stared at the back of his head in worry. His breathing was calm and he seemed to have fallen asleep right away.

Kai POV

It was nearly two in the morning and I still couldn't sleep. I've been staring at the empty blackness for hours. My back and chest ached in pain. I knew Hyo Jin was still awake, usually by this time she would be snoring as loud as a pig, but she wasn't. My mind continued to spin with thoughts like crazy. I couldn't calm myself and my mind refused drift off to dreamland, to the point I was getting frustrated. 

I still can't believe I had just spilt everything out to her.. My past and the meaning behind my name. Only my closest friends know about my father being the way he is. I couldn't believe she had came home and found me crying like a baby. I'm a man. I can't cry.
