"Floral Scars"

Every time she heard the word flowers
It gave her fright
But she would not give anyone the satisfaction
And concealed her pain with all her might.

Hye got use to it 
And the 'visits' cease to surprise her anymore,
The ripping and the tearing,
Along with the torture and the horror.

They came to take her to the 'flower bed'
With the visible pity in their eyes.
She didn't want their stupid empathy
Nor their hurtful lies.

Hye never wanted the world to know her suffering,
Especially her loved ones, Jae and Jun.
It was hard hiding the scars
And not at all fun.

Her scars told her in secret...
She had to be strong and endure
Because there was no knight in shining armor,
Only her.

And so Hye's tears fell in front of no one.
Her true frown appeared for no one.
She told the truth to no one.
No one.

The treachery continues within the castle, silently
So she has only herself to believe in, eternally.
