VOLUME CXXXVIII: AFF Five 

AFF&ME: I randomly joined AFF on August 24, 2011 with the hateful account. I have no idea how I got here though. Maybe on one of those sleepless nights while surfing the web with half an eye open. I made the account and like many people, I just left it there. I sometimes go back to lurk around and what not, to see how the place is progressing and to see if there are any fics about you know who. After a couple of months, I came up with a brilliant idea. Post a story. "Hotel Calypso," a story about aliens infiltrating the earth of our galaxy by acquiring human memories, them dry, and then impersonate them. O, that didn't go too well. After one chapter, I deemed it too much work and deleted the thing. It didn't stick, even with this nice flow chart of their alien organization.


O, well. So, what did I end up doing next?

What I do next: Lurk, lurk, lurk some more. O, and some more lurking. And then, maybe I'll try... no. Lurk some more. 2011 zaps to 2012. New year, new change? Nope, still lurking. With the amount of lurking I do, I can become a professional. One day, I found the deactivation link. Let's see... I can lurk pretty well without an account. And, I ended up clicking that link. Adios, hateful... you were so hateful, always lurking. So I stopped lurking for a few months, started back up when the girlfriend (now the wife) moved her from Winglin to AFF. What she wrote back then didn't interest me much. I'd look at it and go nioce.

Until: She began "Wayward Lover" in 2013. I followed it. I actually followed it. Why? Because 'you know who' is in it and that got me going. I decided to make a spin off, to troll, but I had already forgotten my username. O, I'll just make a new account. What name should I make it? I picked the name of her imaginary fanfic country. At the time, it sounded like a funny idea. It probably still is. With Sykotica, created on April 16, 2013, I posted the story "Vampire Twins," also on the same day. I showed it to her and she was amused. "Instead of proposing, you write me a story." O, she was expecting a proposal? We flew back to where her folks and my folks lived. And got married in late summer. Once we got back to Chicago in late fall, we teamed up in our spare time and tackled "Vampire Twins" and "Wayward Lovers." If she didn't team up with me, I would've probably abandoned/deleted the story just like the first one.

Layouts&Me: Very late last year (2013), she started making layouts for her stories when she discovered they could be applied through AFF's layout marketplace. She'd ask me for help sometimes, you know, with the html. It was fun. After a while, she got tired of making them, but I didn't. I was just getting started. Just see me now, with all my old school layouts. Over a hundred, going for two. O, I finally remembered my username hence it being reactivated.

So, two and a half years for me. Five for AFF. It's been around and stayed around. You guys doing the same.

Hello I am sorry to bother I have a problem. Chapter 123: I have some vampire stories, but I don't know what Layout to use for them (I have everything in this shop in my layout list) Can someone suggest things for me? It is angsty and romantic
