A golden gate greeted Chaeyoung as he arrived at his destination. He saw a surveilance camera at the top of the gate recording him and his car. He figured the camera might be able to hear his voice as well, so he rolled his window down and stuck his head out.

He spoke to it, "Hi! This is Son Chaeyoung! Mina's friend! I came here to have a sleepover!"

A couple of seconds later, the gate opened by itself.

"Thanks!" He chirped, sat back down, rolled his window up and drove on.

He drove on and came to see a pond in the middle of a circular path. A worker approached him and helped him unload his duffel bag. Another worker offered to help him park his car in the garrage. He gladly gave the worker his car key and followed the first worker inside.

When he saw the the golden gate, he thought he would see a western architecture. He was shocked to discover that Mina's Mansion had traditional Japanese Architecture. It felt like he was in an ancient Japanese Castle.

"We have three guestrooms here! There's one near the living room and one near Mina-sama's room or the one at the very left! Mina-sama said you may choose the room!" The worker happily informed him.

Chaeyoung thought for a while.

"In that case, I'll choose the guest room near Mina's room!" Chaeyoung replied.

"Very well! Follow me!" The worker instructed.

The worker put his duffel bag inside the room. The room was huge for a guest room. It had its own bathroom, walk in closet, flat screen TV, king-sized bathroom and plenty of space. The worker then excused himself to attend to other matters. Two other workers quickly got in to help him unpack his stuffs.

"Ah! Uhm, you guys don't need to help me! I can do it by myself!" He spluttered, rubbing his neck.

"Are you sure, young master?" One of the workers asked.

"Y-yes! And you don't need to call me young master! Just call me Chaeyoung!" He stuttered.

"Ah, in that case, we'll leave! Plz don't hesitate to call us if you need our help!" They excused themselves and left.

Chaeyoung then began unpacking his stuffs. While, he was arranging his stuff, a knock was heard.

"Yes?" He responded.

"We're wondering if you have eaten your breakfast yet!" The worker shouted from outside of his room without opening the door.

"Ah, yeah, I have! Don't worry!" He replied.

"Any special request for lunch?" The worker asked again.

"No! I'll eat whatever that's served!" He beamed.

"Ok!" The worker responded and left.

'The architecture is very traditional, but the inside is very modern.' he amused.

After arranging his stuffs. He went to the living room to look for a worker. He approached one of them and asked about Mina.

"Ah, Mina-sama is not yet awake. Do you need us to wake her up?" The worker asked.

"Oh, no need! I'll just look around!" He retorted.

He saw that Mina had a pool and quite a big study room with various books almost like a mini library. He attempted to go to the second floor when the worker quickly prevented him.

"Upstairs is private and only for family!" The worker informed.

"Ah, sorry! I didn't know!" He apologized.

"It's ok!" The worker smiled.

He then went back to his room and since there was nothing else to do, he grabbed his sketchbook, pencil, eraser, drawing board and easel to sketch the mansion outside.







 

It was about noon when Mina stirred awake. She quickly took a bath then headed to the dining room to eat lunch. She took a seat and food was quickly served. She furrowed her eyebrows in confusion.

"Has Chaeyoung arrived yet?" Mina asked one of the workers.

"Ah yes, he's sketching outside. Do you need me to call him?" The worker replied.

"I'll do it myself. Where exactly is he?" Mina questioned.

"Near the pond, Mina-sama!" Answered the worker.

Mina hummed and walked to get to Chaeyoung. Meanwhile, Chaeyoung was focused on working on the details of his sketch, sweats were trickling down his forehead due to the afternoon sun and concentration. He didn't even notice Mina that was approaching him. When Mina saw Chaeyoung's serious expression, she smiled.

"Chaengie!" She chirped, which startled Chaeyoung. Luckily he didn't accidentally ruin his sketch, or he would surely be livid.

Mina gasped.

"Chaengie, wow! This is beautiful! You're so talented!" Mina breathed.

Chaeyoung smiled.

"Thanks!" Chaeyoung replied.

"Now I know why you choose to take Architecture course!" Mina beamed.

"Yeah! And this is a beautiful Mansion by the way! I feel like I'm in Japan when I'm still in South Korea!" Chaeyoung blabbered.

"Oh, it's my father! He's obsessed with Japanese traditional Architecture!" Mina explained.

"Ah, but really! This is amazing! When I saw the golden gate, I expected a western-style Architecture. I didn't expect a Japanese traditional Architecture! It's amazing!" Chaeyoung said in amazement.

Mina giggled.

"Come on! It's time to eat lunch!" Mina chirped.

Chaeyoung hummed and followed Mina and food was served for Chaeyoung too. They began to eat their food.

"So, which room do you choose?" Mina asked while eating.

"The one near your room!" Chaeyoung replied.

"Good choice! It's the biggest guest room!" Mina explained.

Then they ate in peace. A while later they both finished their meals. Chaeyoung was about to put his plate in the sink when Mina prevented him from doing so.

"Just put them on the table! One of the maids will take care of it!" Mina shrugged.

Mina grabbed Chaeyoung's hand.

"Come! I'll show you my room!" Mina chirped.

When they arrived in Mina's room, Chaeyoung's jaw dropped in shock. Mina's room is huge.

"Have you always lived here?" Chaeyoung asked.

"Ever since I moved to Seoul." Mina answered.

"Then why would you have a sleepover at our ugly rooftop house, if you live in this huge, cool room?" Chaeyoung asked.

Mina heaved a sigh.

"I live in this huge mansion all by myself, you know! My parents are rarely home! And when they're home, they only work too, most of the time." Mina sighed, looking down.

"Never mind! Let's play video games! I'll show you how fun they are!" Mina chirped.
