Park Dong Joon and Choi Hye Yeon are engaged!

Park Dong Joon and Choi Hye Yeon arrived together in Incheon International Airport from Paris, France. Seeing Park Dong Joon holding Choi Hye Yeon’s hand means they are back together. But what’s most noticeable is the huge diamond ring on Ms. Choi’s left hand.

Both KEBN and Cha Gwang Jae confirmed that Mr. Park and Ms. Choi are engaged to marry. 

The date of their wedding is soon to be announced.

Wedding Day

“Unnie, stop it!” Hye Yeon told Song Yi who keeps on fixing her veil. Song Yi steps back and looks at her. “I think there’s something wrong with your veil. Maybe we should call the boutique and give you a different veil. How about a veil with a long train?” Song Yi excitedly said.

“Unnie, my veil is fine. I pick this myself and it’s perfect. Can you please relax? You’re making me feel nervous,” Hye Y-eon huffs.

Song Yi fans herself using her hand. “Sorry. I’m just nervous, too.” She sighs. Maybe I should just go out and greet the guest with your brother.

“Yes, please,” Hye Yeon smiles. Song Yi looks at her and smiles before she left. Then, Jung Woo enters the room but he wasn’t alone.

“Hi, Hye Yeon,” he greets her.

“Jung Woo! I thought you wouldn’t come,” she said. Jung Woo approaches her as the woman follows him from behind. Hye Yeon knows her because she’s an actress that Jung Woo worked within his recent drama.

“I wouldn’t miss it. By the way, you know Min Soo Ah?” Jung Woo holds Soo Ah’s hand and pulls her beside him.

“Yeah. I know her. Nice to meet you, Min Soo Ah,” Hye Yeon said.

Soo Ah bows to her, “It’s a pleasure to meet you, Writer Choi,” she said.

“Please call me Hye Yeon. Jung Woo’s friend is a friend of mine too,”

Jung Woo clears , “Actually, she’s not just my friend,” Jung Woo said. Hye Yeon raised her eyebrow at him. Jung Woo looks at Soo Ah and it was familiar to Hye Yeon. Jung Woo looks at Soo Ah with adoration.

“She’s my girlfriend,” Jung Woo said before looking back at Hye Yeon. “We started dating 6 weeks ago,” he said.

“Wow! Congratulations,” Hye Yeon said. Then, she looks at Soo Ah, “I hope he’s not giving you a hard time,”

“Yah!” Jung Woo frowns at Hye Yeon. Soo Ah and Hye Yeon both laugh at his reaction.

“He’s okay, I guess,” Soo Ah shrugs. Jung Woo glances at his girlfriend while pouting at her. Soo Ah giggles and holds his arm. “Don’t use that cute pout on me, you silly man!”

“Gosh, I didn’t know you still use aegyo at this age, Lee Jung Woo,” Hye Yeon teases him. Jung Woo scoffs, “Having second thoughts now? Sorry, but I am taken and completely smitten with my girlfriend,” Jung Woo said smugly. Hye Yeon laughs at him. Then the photographer asks them for a picture so Jung Woo and Soo Ah stood on each side of Hye Yeon.

At the entrance of the reception, Dong Joon and his parents are welcoming the guests. Ye Won and Tae Sun arrived.

“Congratulations, Dong Joon! Finally!” Ye Won gave Dong Joon a brief hug.

“Thank you for coming,” Dong Joon said as he shook Tae Sun’s hand.

“Welcome to the club, bro!” Tae Sun chuckles.

Ye Won looks around, “Is Ji Eun here?” she asks Dong Joon. Dong Joon looks around. “Yes, she’s with her husband,”

“Go Ye Won!!!” Ji Eun yells. Ye Won looks around and hugs her friend. “Ji Eun! I miss you so much,” she let go of her friend and saw the man she’s with. “You must be Shi Hwan!” Ye Won smiles at him.

“Yes. I’m Kim Shi Hwan,” he bows.

“I’m Go Ye Won, and this is my husband, Han Tae Sun,” Ye Won introduced. Tae Sun and Shi Hwan bows to one another.

“Ohh! We should check on Hye Yeon!” Ye Won said before dragging Ji Eun with her. Shi Hwan and Tae Sun looked at each other and laugh. They excuse themselves and follow their wives.

Inside the reception, Jung Woo and Soo Ah joined the table of Soo Young, Yoo An, So Nyeo, Sung Woo, and Nara.

“Did you meet Hye Yeon Noona?” Sung Woo asks Soo Ah. Soo Ah smiles at Sung Woo. “Yeah, she’s so beautiful in her dress,” Soo Ah said.

“There are only a few people visiting her. You should see her before the wedding,” Jung Woo suggested.

So Nyeo holds on to Yoo An’s arm, “Yeobo, let’s look at Hye Yeon Unnie!” she said ecstatically. Yoo An nodded then looks at Soo Young, “Mother, would you like to come?” Soo Young smiles and nods. The three stood up from their seats.

“Jagiya, I want to see Hye Yeon Unnie,” Nara pouts.

“Go with them. I’ll be there in a minute. I just need to discuss something with my brother,” Sung Woo said. Nara kisses his cheek before she follows Yoo AN, So Nyeo, and Soo Young.

“What is it, Sung Woo?” Jung Woo asks.

“I already talk to mom about this. She gave me her blessings but she told me to ask you too,” Sung Woo gulped, “Dong Joon Hyun and Hye Yeon Noona know this and we planned this. Later, when Hye Yeon Unnie will throw her bouquet, she won’t do it. Instead, she will hand it to Nara, then when she faces me, I will be on my knee and asks her to marry me,” he explains while looking nervous.

Soo Ah smiles happily while Jung Woo is scowling at him, “You’re proposing to Nara later?”

“Yes. I hope you don’t mind. I really love Nara and I want to marry her. And please don’t ask me not to get married before you,” Sung Woo begs him. Soo Ah chuckles while Jung Woo grins.

He pats his brother’s shoulder, “Congratulations in advance. You and Nara look perfect together,”

Sung Woo sighs in relief, “Thank you, Hyung,”

An hour later, Hye Yeon is waiting alone in the ride’s room when Young Jae enters. She smiles at him as he approaches her.

“If it isn’t my ex-wife getting married,” he jokingly said. Hye Yeon giggles and waves her hand on him, “You got married first, silly,”

“I know,” Young Jae sat down beside her, “You look beautiful, Hye Yeon,”

“Thank you, Oppa,” she blushes.

“I’m really grateful for this day. You will start a family of your own. Dong Joon is a lucky man,”

“I’m lucky to have him too.”

Young Jae reaches for Hye Yeon’s hand and holds it. They look at each other. They are each other’s first love but their love for each other as a family made them much closer.

“Be happy, Hye Yeon. You deserve the love and happiness with Dong Joon,” Young Jae kisses the back of her palm. Hye Yeon smiles and feels like crying, “Thank you, Young Jae,” she whispers.

Ava enters the room, “Hye Yeon, we will start in 5 minutes,” she said.
