3rd Person’s POV

[Sae Young Dormitories…August 19, 20XX]

Lei ran down towards the dorm room and locked herself to their bathroom. She walked towards the sink and stared at her reflection, that’s when her tears poured down. She heard the front door opened and she knew that her unnies had follow her.

“Lei, come out. Let’s talk about this.”

“Yeah, don’t shut us out. We can deal with this together.”

“I’m fine.” Lei wiped her tears but it continued flowing. “Just…leave me alone.”

Jeril and Anika looked at each other. They didn’t know what to do, they had never been in this situation before. They didn’t have friends, so they doesn’t have much experience with comforting someone.

Luckily, a miracle arrived. Erika entered the room and Jeril and Anika watched her walked from the front door towards the bathroom door without saying a word. As soon as she was infront, she kicked the door hard.

“Lei, I’m sorry. I know it’s too late but you still need to know who Timothy is. He’s my cousin in Uncle Tristan’s side and he’s a huge playboy. He’s from USA and was sent here because of his behavior. Taehyung oppa’s dad told me about Tim after the play, so I went to confront him and knew about what happened. So, I beat him up before running here.”

“You beat him up? Wouldn’t that ruin your career if the media knows?”

“He won’t ruin it. Our family would kill him.” Erika answered in a serious tone before softening again as she faced Lei. “I’m really sorry. If only I had contacted Taehyung oppa sooner. I deeply apologize, President.”

Lei turned around and hugged Erika. “It’s not your fault, unnie. I’m a fool, who immediately fell inlove with someone I don’t know that well. You don’t need to apologize.” she felt Erika hugged her back and nodded her head.

Anika pulled Jeril towards the two and they group-hugged. They stayed like that for awhile to allow Lei in letting out her tears. She cried her eyes out until there wasn’t any more tears left to cry. With that, Erika carried her to the living room and put her to the couch.

“Take a nap, L. We’ll talk about this again after you wake up.” Erika said, kissing Lei’s forehead before standing up to get a blanket. She put it on Lei and patted her head. “Rest.”

It must be because of her crying that make her eyes tired, making it closed immediately and she soon fell asleep. Seeing that, Erika faced Jeril and Anika. It was one of the rare times where Erika was wearing a serious face.

“W-What’s going to happen now?”

“Lei needs to break up with that jerk. But, I think we need to beat him up first.” Jeril suggested and suddenly faced Erika. “Did you really beat him up? He’s still your cousin.”

“Yeah, but I don’t care. He’s a jerk, he deserved that. Besides, I only got a warning about it and I didn’t have any wounds so I’m good. Even if he’s my family, he’s still wrong.”

“I didn’t think he could do that, he doesn’t seems like someone to play around to me.”

“Don’t judge a book by its cover, Choi. Even the most innocent looking can be dangerous.”

“Oh, like you?”

“Don’t challenge me, Jeon. I’m mad right now.” Erika glared at Jeril before facing Anika. “We need to talk to Timothy since I still haven’t given him a piece of mind. He’s at the infirmary right now and if I go there alone, I might add more wounds and bruises to his body.”

“Alright. Chase, you stay here and be there when Lei wakes up. Ked unnie and I will be back immediately after talking to Timothy.”

“Why am I being left here?”

“Because you can’t control your temper. I can only handle one person and that will be Ked unnie, considering the fact that she’s less violent than you. Wait here, Lei needs some comforting when she wakes up.”

“I don’t know anything about comforting.”

“Give her the panda stufftoy I bought, a bucket of ice cream and make her watch movies while we’re out.” Erika answered, dragging Anika out of the room.

[Sae Young Infirmary #7…August 19, 20XX]

Anika opened the door first and saw Timothy laying on one of the bed. He has a busted lips, a black-eye and several bruises on his face and a lot on his stomach, it was purple already and was clearly seen because he took off his shirt.

“If you’re here to beat me up, please make it fast.”

“I’m not here to beat you up, I’m not the violent type.”

“Then, why are you here?”

Erika entered the infirmary and Anika clearly see Timothy shuddered. “We’re here to talk.”

“I-I won’t tell your parents about this, Ked.”

“This isn’t about our family, it’s about Lei.” Erika walked closer to Timothy and glared at him. “Why did you choose her? Why did you hurt the nicest person I know?”

“B-Because…”

“And don’t lie to me. I promise I’ll try not to beat you up, whatever your reason is.”

“She’s…too nice. I was getting tired of her. Yes, it was fun at first because she’s too innocent but I got bored so I was about to break up with her, then she caught me.”

Erika raised her fist and was about to punch Timothy, who already closed his eyes, but Anika managed to held her hand before it could land on his face.

“Unnie, calm down.” Anika whispered, facing Timothy this time. “You’ll regret this, Tim.”

“You totally will. You will never find someone as amazingly unique as Son Lei Min. I can’t believe that you didn’t fall for that kind of girl.”

“I do have feelings for her, but it wasn’t enough to make me commit. You of all people would know that, Erika.”

Erika glared at Timothy, shutting him off immediately. “Like I said, this isn’t about me. This is about Lei, you need to apologize to her and confirm where your relationship stands now.”

“Knowing Lei, I know she’ll take you back in a heartbeat. But if you’re not sure about it, just break up with her. You can’t possibly hurt her over and over again. If that happens, I’ll make sure that you’ll see the violence in me.”

Timothy nodded his head, not trusting his words because of Anika’s glare. “O-Oh…okay.”

“Make a decision, love her or let her go.” with that, Erika and Anika went out of the infirmary to go back to the dorm. When they arrived, Lei was already awake and eating ice cream with Jeril while hugging the panda. The Adventure Time playing on TV. “You’re up?”

“Yeah, where did you go?”

“Chase didn’t told you?” Anika asked and Lei answered by shaking her head. “We went to get drinks.” she raised the plastic bag with three drinks. Erika got thirsty so they decided to buy in the vending machine before heading back completely.

“Oh, okay.” Lei stated before looking at Erika who was observing her. “Yes, leader-nim?”

“Are you okay?”

“Yeah, yeah. I’m good. It’s fine, he’s just a guy. There are a lot of fishes in the sea.”

“But he was your bestfriend, your crush, your boyfriend and possibly the love of your life. Are you willing to just let it go? To just erase your feelings for him? Will it be just gone? Is it over…just like that?”

“Woah, leader-nim. You sounded like a Timothy-Lei shipper. Do you still want Lei to give that bastard a second chance?”

“That’s not what I meant. What I mean is, I’ll support whatever decision Lei makes.” Erika faced Lei again and softly smiled. “Even if it’s a foolish plan, I’m here for you. But please, remember to choose the one that won’t hurt you once more. I don’t want to see you cry again.”

Lei smiled at Erika before grabbing her phone and called Timothy. “Hey, let’s talk.”
