3rd Person’s POV

[Sae Young Academy of Arts…July 29, 20XX]

The alarm clock sounded so Lei stood up and prepared for school. She woke Anika up, who also prepared. They let the rapper line sleep because it was one of their rules not to disturb the sleep of Jeril and Erika. The two of them were going to be excused even if they’re late, anyways.

The vocal line headed to the school first after leaving a note to the rapper line, just like what they always do every day. Anika took Lei to the Council office because Lei would always write her attendance in the office before heading to the classroom. The two of them went straight to their classroom after that.

Ever since they’ve performed together during the evaluation last month, they would always be grouped with each other. So, they know that they were going to be grouped again when the teacher said…

“Alright, I’ll be giving you a group project.” the teacher said “The deadline is next week. All you have to do is rearrange a song and perform it to the class.”

The students nod their head to what their teacher’s said and they listened to her groupings.

“Fourth group, dorm room 4D occupants. Choi Anika, Jeon Jeril, Kim Erika and Son Lei.”

“4D occupants?” Erika muttered as she enter the classroom with a yawn “Why not just call us ‘4D’?”

“Oh, Ked sshi. Good morning to you. And…4D? That sounds great for a team name.”

“Right? I like it, too.” Erika commented before approaching Anika and Lei “Okay, guys. Starting now, we’ll be 4D. We’ll be a real unit, a real group, a real team…starting today.”

“W-What? How?” Anika asked when the door opened again and Jeril entered with a paper in her hand

“Here you go, leader.” Jeril said as she handed the paper to Erika “That’s the permission slip that you asked. Mom already signed it so all you need is to fill up the information about the group.”

“Yeah, thanks.” Erika thanked before grabbing a pen and filing up the permission slip to make their group official “Group name: 4D. Members and position: Kim Erika Dane as leader, main rapper, composer, face of the group and hidden main vocal. Is that okay?”

“Yep.”

“Next…Choi Anika Iniel as main vocal, lead dancer and mother of the group. Jeon Jeril Chase as main dancer, lead rapper and choreographer. Last…Son Lei Min as maknae, lead vocal and visual…”

Erika finished filing up and handed it to Lei for the Student Council approval so Lei got her pen and signed the paper. Erika then went out of the class to pass it to the Principal.

“Here you go, Mrs. Jeon.” Erika said as she passed the paper “I’ll take care of Jeril well so you don’t have to worry. Please, let us perform today to show our skills. Take care of us, starting today.”

Jeril’s mother chuckled and nodded her head “Alright. You’ll be performing this afternoon, after class. I’ll announced your group to the school, officially. Goodluck, Ked sshi.”

“Yeah, thank you so much.”

After school came and Erika already told the 4D about their performances so they were in the backstage, waiting for the time to come out after Jeril’s mom announced their official teaming.

“What are we going to perform, Ked unnie?” Anika asked as she fixed her earpiece

“We’re just going to perform a BTS song that doesn’t have a choreo since we can’t practice now. Our parts will still be the same so it must be something we all know.”

“Hold Me Tight by BTS.”

“I know that. How about you, Anika? Lei?”

“Hold me tight, hug me, no~” Anika sang “Yeah, I know that song.”

“Great. President? Do you know this?”

“I’m not an ARMY if I don’t.”

“Alright. Let’s go with it, then. Hands in, 4D.” Erika announced and they did a hands in “1, 2, 3, 4D! 1, 2, 3, Fighting! Let’s do this!”

After they told the DJ their music, they stood in the stairs of the stage for the cue to enter.

“And we’ve seen them perform together during the monthly evaluation for June. They’ve did a great job so I decided to officially make them a team. Let’s all welcome…4D.” Jeril’s mother announced

The four girls climbed up the stairs, carrying their mic. Jeril’s mother patted their backs to wish them luck. They all stood up infront and took a deep breath when the music .

Then, they started singing. After that, the audience clapped their hands to the amazing performance that the 4D gave. Starting today, they were now…an official team.

After the announcement that they’ve became an official team, Erika wanted them to have a celebration so they were now in a karaoke room. Erika wanted to treat her members in a fancy restaurant but they can’t enjoy their selves because a lot of people would recognized Erika and disturb their celebration.

They decided to just enjoy time in karaoke room, where they won’t be disturb. After that, they plan to head in a drive-thru fast food chain and eat in the Han River. Just a simple celebration to commemorate their new team and their new friendship.

“Oh, I want to sing that one.” Erika stated as she pointed the screen that displays ‘TWICE – Heart Shaker’

“Got it.” Anika stated as she controlled the remote to play the song “Here you go.” she added and handed the mic to Erika “Fighting!”

Erika chuckled before she sang “Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Come on, be my love. Come on, be my love, baby.” she sang as she stood up “Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Come on, be my love. Come on, be my love, baby. I stand still with my head full of thoughts. Don’t know if I’m doing the right thing.”

Erika continued singing until she reached the chorus and that’s when she danced to the dance step of the song. Ofcourse, the others were also influenced by the song so they also started to rock their body with the beat of the song.

After a while, Erika finished and handed the mic back to Anika “I reserved a song for you.” she said with a smirk and a song suddenly came up “Park Jimin’s Serendipity.”

“OHHHH! I love that song!” Anika exclaimed as she stood up and sing “This isn’t by chance. Just, just--I could feel that. The world is different today just, just with your joy.” she sang and the 4D clapped their hands until Anika finished the song “Yeah! I feel great. Thanks, leader.”

Erika showed her a thumbs up before facing the maknae line “Hey, President Panda. Why don’t you sing a song and Jeril would dance to it? You two are the only one who didn’t used the machine.”

“Alright, alright. Let’s do this, Jeril unnie.” Lei answered energetically while Jeril rolled her eyes before standing up “I’m singing ‘Boombayah’ by BlackPink.” she stated and Jeril just nod her head

The music played and Lei sang to the song while Jeril started to dance the choreography of the song. The unnie line clapped their hands for the maknaes. After that, Erika requested a few more TWICE songs and a few GFriend songs while the others played BTS songs.

They drove through the drive-thru of a fast food chain and ordered. Erika was the one paying because she said so, so she asked what the others would want to have.

“I’ll have a chicken.” Lei answered

“Beef steak.”

“Just the spaghetti.”

“Alright.” Erika answered and faced the girl in the drive-thru “One order of fried chicken, beef steak, spaghetti and the extra-large fries. Drinks are sprite. Then, 4 chocolate pie and strawberry sundaes.”

“Is that all?” the girl asked with a smile as she face Erika, who nodded her head “Thank you for coming.”

“No problem.” Erika answered with a smile before driving to the next station where she’ll pay then headed to the other station where she’ll claim the food “Thanks.” she stated before driving to Han River

When they arrived, they sat down in the grass and laid their food out. Anika faced Erika with a concerned look.

“Is fries enough for you?”

Erika chuckled and nodded her head “It’s more than enough, eomma. Fries is my life, you know.”

“Are you sure?” Anika asked and Erika nodded “Whatever you say.” she answered in defeat “Anyways, I noticed that you’re popular not only with boys but also with girls.” she added as she ate her spaghetti

“What do you mean?” Erika asked as she chuckle

“Three of those girls in the drive-thru were blushing because they got to talk to you.” Jeril answered

“Oh…well, I’m not South Korea’s ultimate bias for no reason.” Erika answered confidently, making the others laughed “But, yeah, I’m known for being a girl crush because I’m a boyfriend material.”

“Cool.” Lei commented as she steal a fries from Erika and ate it “Thank you, girl crush.”

Erika’s eyes widened “Y-YA!” she exclaimed as she tries to get back to their naughty maknae
