KATH's POV

 

I opened my eyes slowly. I look at the time and found out that it is already 10 in the morning. I slept too much or maybe I just have a good dream.

Dream?

I remember I had a dream last night but I can't remember the dream itself.

"Yah!!!"

"Woah!!" I reacted and looked at whoever it was.

"Daniel?!! You're here. When did you...."

"Yah...I am here even before you woke up. Woah, Kath...you didn't even notice me. I am hurt!!"

"Mian..."

"Ahh..jinjja...anyways..how are you?"

"A little dizzy maybe because I overslept. But I'm okay now."

"Good..." he said.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I didn't notice that I've been with Daniel for about an hour and a half already. It's always like that even before. I always enjoy his company.

He told me some joke and we were laughing out loud when Daniel suddenly stops. He is looking over the door. I immediately looked at the door and found out that Jiyong was there.

My laughter died out when I saw the look in Jiyong's face. He doesn't look like he's in Jiyong mode now. His face looks serious and he's not even smiling. I feel like I'm looking at Gdragon. His aura gives me chills. I realize that no matter how close we are, he is still GD, the fierce and talented leader of Bigbang. Right at this moment, I can see the distance between me and him.

I felt a sharp pain on my chest. I automatically clutched my chest. My face was distorted because of the pain I'm feeling.

"What happened?" I heard Jiyong asked with worry. I look at him and found out that he's back to being just Jiyong.

"Nothing." I said as I smiled.

"Are you sure?" he asked.

"Ne. I'm okay." I denied. I can't tell him because I also don't know why I'm in pain.

He was scrutinizing me and I felt uncomfortable. I smiled at him trying to hide it. I tried to ignore the pain that I'm feeling.  His eyes narrowed for a bit. 

"Araseo..." he finally said then he looked at Daniel once again. I sighed.

"Annyeonghaseyo.." Daniel said.

Jiyong nod a bit. Daniel looked at me and I can see that he's a bit scared.

"What's happening to this dragon?"

"Uhmmm..Yongie?!" he looks at me gently.

"That's Daniel my friend from Kpop Star" then he glared back at Daniel.

Daniel look surprised with the way Jiyong glared at him. I can see that he's nervous and he can't look straight at Jiyong.

"Yah!! Kwon Jiyong!! Why are you glaring at my friend?!!" I yelled because for me its rude to glare at someone you don't even know and especially the person didn't do anything to him.

"I am not. I am not glaring at him." he said as he tried to soften his look.

I narrowed my eyes and look at him sharply.

"I don't know what your problem is or if you are in a bad mood. But don't pour it on my friend."

I heard someone chuckling behind Jiyong. I didn't notice that Jiyong was with someone.

"Youngbae?"

"Annyeong, noona!!" he said while smiling. "Don't be too harsh with Jiyong, noona. He's just je...."

"Shut up, Youngbae" Jiyong interrupted him.

"Oooppps...." he said while chuckling.

I furrowed my brows. "What "je" Youngbae?"

"Don't mind him." Jiyong said.

I think hard. What word starts at "je"? Then after few seconds I felt a flick on my head.

"Ouch!!!" It was Jiyong. "Yah!!!"

Jiyong smiled at me and shook his head, "I know what you're doing. You're thinking. Don't try too hard. Your brain might blew up"

I glared at him, "Tch!!"

"Anyways...Youngbae-ah, this is Daniel, my friend from Kpop Star"

Both of them greeted each other.

After quite some time, Daniel went home. I was left with Youngbae and Jiyong. We were watching a drama when the scene from the drama triggered something.

 

 

"Hyung...don't tell me..."

"Yes, I like Kath. If I didn't know you that better, I would have pursue her. But like Youngbae I know you too much, that's why I didn't pursue her."

"Hyung..."

"But I wanted to hear it from you Jiyong. Do you like her? Do you like Kath?"

"I-I think my feelings for her eversince didn't even changed a bit. I don't think I like her."

"I think I'm still in love with her"

 

 

I was flustered. My heart beats wildly. What was that? Did it really happened or was it the dream that I can't remember?

I closed my eyes and tried to recall what happened before I fell asleep last night. I know Jiyong and TOP stayed with me last night. I know I heard them talking but I can't remember what they were talking about. I know I heard those things but I can't distinguished if it was a real coversation or just a dream.

"Kay-ah?" I heard Jiyong.

I open my eyes quickly, "Huh?"

"What are you doing? Are you sleeping?"

"Ani...I was just..." I stared at Jiyong. Looking for an answer. Then the memory of him and Kiko on the after party in Japan shows. I decided that it was just a dream, there's no way he's in love with me because he have Kiko.

I smiled at him and says, "I was just resting my eyes"

"Okay" he smiled.

When he's not looking at me anymore, I clutched my chest. It's hurting again. I think I know now why my heart beats wildly and why it keeps on hurting at the same time.

I gazed at him without him knowing and a single tear drops from my left eye.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

3RD POV

Kath was discharged from the hospital the next day after Daniel's visit. The latter was the one who helped her in her discharged. Jiyong was not there because Bigbang will be having their finale Japan concert in Tokyo. They will be back after 2 days.

But before Jiyong left, they already talked about their performance for the next round of KPOP Star. They decided to perform a self-written song. Jiyong asked her to composed songs and when he goes back after 2 days, they will check and choose from it.

Kath is in her room. She was trying to composed a song for her next performance which will be a collaboration with GD. But instead of making a song that will fit for their collaboration, she composed a solo song. After realizing her own feelings, she was able to write few songs. But she knew those songs won't fit in for a collaboration. She also knew that those songs that she wrote should not be seen by Jiyong. Because he might knew her feelings and she knew it won't do no good.

"ARRRRGGGHHHH" Kath yelled why wiggling her whole body.

"I can't focus!!! STOP thinking about him Kath" she said to herself.

"Stop thinking what he's doing, stop thinking where he is and who's with him. And you, heart, don't beat that much. Remember you're just a friend!!!!" she said.

"Aisshhh!!!" she felt crazy saying those things.

She decided to go outside and spend time with deokbokki ahjumma.

"Ahjumma!! Annyeong!!"

"Oh 아가씨!! Are you okay now? I've watched the telecast. You were sick.

"Ne...I'm okay now ahjumma. Kamsahamnida!!

"Good. Deokbokki?"

"Ne..."

Kath was so silent while eating and the ahjumma noticed it. She also heard Kath sighing every now and then

"You're so silent and you keeps on sighing. Did something happened?"

Kath looked at her contemplating if she can tell her what's on her mind. But then she decided to go for it.

"Ahjumma....I was thinking about something.."

"Yes?"

"Well..you see..ahjumm..uhmmm..."

Kath don't know how to start. She inclined her head to the side and thought of how she will start everything.

"Well...ahjumma..I..I have...a....friend? yes..a friend.."

Ahjumma smiled and she seem to remember someone who visited her 2 nights ago with the same start.

"Yes? Are you sure its about your friend and not you?" 

"Yes, ahjumma. It's about a....." she suddenly stop and looked at ahjumma with a wide eye.

Ahjumma was smiling at her. Kath sighed and looked down.

"You already know." she murmured.

Ahjumma laughed, "Because you are too obvious agassi. So tell me what's bothering you. I will listen."

Kath smiled and she started to tell everything to ahjumma.

"Well..ahjumma. I don't know when it started. I think I'm going crazy. I'm not sure what I'm really feeling. That's why I wanted to confirm what is this." she started.

Ahjumma nodded and encouraged her to go on.
