KATH'S POV

It's been 2 days since the casting round and here I am, currently standing infront of the YG building. I was here for about 15 minutes already. Just outside the building, staring at it like there's something amazing and stunning infront of me. I can't still believe it so I pinch both of my cheek to make sure that I am awake.

"ARAY!!!...hahahaha...okay i'm not dreaming" I said to myself. I heard someone laughing from my back. When I look back it was Ahn Hye Sun, one of the contestants casted by YG. We became close just yesterday when all of the contestants casted by YG was called for a lunch with him. She's 8 years younger than me.

I squinted my eyes while looking at her and she tried to stop laughing.

"I'm so sorry, eonni. It just that... you look so funny and I can't help myself to laugh."

"Yah! I'm your eonni and you're laughing at me." I was about to pinch her side but she suddenly runs. "Yah!! Come back here!!" I chase her until she arrives at the entrance of YG building. She don't have a choice but to stop because the guard needs to verify her identity. She gave her ID to the guard that's why I caught her.

"Gotcha'.."

Instead of pinching her, I just tickled her. She was laughing so hard while asking me to stop it. The guard was just watching us with a smile on his face.

"Both of you can go inside now" we heard the guard said.

We both stop, panting while looking at the guard. We both blink 3 time before she gets her ID and goes inside the building. I was confused because I didn't give my ID yet but he's letting me go inside.

"You can get inside Kath-ssi." the guard says the second time. I bowed to him  and I followed Hye Sun inside.

"Wooah" both of us uttered when we saw the interior of YG building. True to what I saw on videos and photos, the interior was amazing. Since we still have enough time before our call time to meet with YG at the studio, Hye Sun and I, take photos first. It took a lot of time before we stopped taking pictures around. We started to walk as fast as we can to the studio as we only have 5 minutes left before our meeting with YG. We can't be late. Good thing there are lots of people walking around and we have asked them where's the studio B. After 4 minutes we have arrived outside the studio B. Hye Sun opens the door and walks inside. I followed her but I bumped into her as she suddenly stops.

"Aww..Hye Sun-ah, why did you sto...."

I haven't had a chance to finished what I'm going to say as I saw YG already sitting in the middle of the room, infront of the other contestants.

"Just in the nick of time" we heard YG said. "Did you enjoy taking photos around the company?" YG asks with a hint of teasing.

Though we know that YG is just teasing us and we're not really late, both of us bowed our head as we both felt embarassed. How could we forget that there are lots of cctv around the building and that it is connected to YG's computer.

"Pabo" I said to myself.

"Both of you may sit down now. We're going to start"

We immediately sit down the empty chairs then YG started to talk.

"Okay. First of all welcome to YG Entertainment. Also congratulations on being casted in YG. Now, all of you are chosen because I believe that all of you are YG material. But, there are still lots of things that all of you needs to improve. The next round is the Battle Audition wherein you will have a head on battle with the representative  of the other company. We have 2 weeks to polish everything. Last night, I have been rewatching your performance since the 1st round and I have written all the things that you need to improve. So let's start with...."

This is what I like about YG, he's so meticulous with everything. That's why he's so strict with his artists. I really admire him on how much he values the quality of his artists' work rather than the income that he will get after. One the reasons why I like the company. I really wish to be part of this company.

"...and for you Kath-ssi"

"Ne?"

"Well, to be honest, I don't know what should I need to teach you. Each performance you showed us were not the same. Each perfromance were unique and I really don't know what else could we teach you. But...."

YG pauses for a bit and I am really scared as to what he will be saying next. I feel my heart beating faster. 

"........as what Yoo Hee Yeol said you haven't tried singing Korean songs yet."

I sighs out of relief. I thought its going to be a bad thing.

"I would like you to sing a Korean song on the next round. I've noticed that you already improved your hangeul pronunciation. You need to show everyone that you can also sing korean songs. Remember you are in a Korean show"

"Ne. I understands. I am actually planning to sing a korean song for the next round"

"Good. Do you already have a song in mind?" YG asks.

"Not yet. I'm still thinking on what to sing"

"So if that's the case, you can try to practice other korean songs with our vocal instructor here until you decide which song you will sing so that you can practice your korean pronounciation"

"Ne"

After few reminders and instructions, YG left us with the vocal instructor. YG said that we will meet again after 3 days of training with the YG instructors to see how much we improved. And we should prepare the song that we will perform on the next round.

That's when the hellish training began. We have vocal training, dance training, language training; Korean for me and English for them, acting training (they said its needed for us to show the right emotion while performing) and other lots of training. We start at 7 in the morning until 2 - 3 in the morning the next day for 2 straight days. Its really exhausting and yet its fun.

Finally, it's the last day of our training but it's already 12 in the morning and we're not done yet. I really feel tired and I wanted to sleep early.

"Okay girls. I can see that all of you are really tired now. You can go home now. We're done with the training." our vocal coach said.

"YES!!!" all of us simultaneously said.

"Wait. Don't be too happy. Remember you will need to perform infront of YG sajangnim tomorrow. Make sure you all rest well  and  d
