Ji Hyo's POV

Jong Kook drove me to the Pohang beach where I suggested to meet Chang Joo for the first date after I agreed to be his girlfriend.

I waved goodbye to Jong Kook. Jong Kook waved back and soon he drove off.  

I strolled to the beach. I was early and sat on the bench to wait since Chang Joo was not going to be here anytime.

The wind was gusty and slightly cold because of the rainy days these few days. I folded my arms to keep myself warm.

I took out my phone and turned it on. The wallpaper on my phone was the selfie of Jong Kook and I taken during the fan meeting. 

I unlocked my phone, went to the photo gallery and changed my wallpaper. I took a picture of the scenery before my eyes and set it as the new wallpaper.

Chang Joo would get suspicious if he sees my phone...

Not long later, Chang Joo arrived. He came to sit beside me and handed me a cup of hot americano.

"Ji Hyo ya, here's your americano. I was trying to keep it warm the whole journey."

"Thank you oppa!" I thanked him along with bouts of laughter...

Chang Joo was curious about my sudden laughter. He questioned,"Ji Hyo ya, you are so happy that I brought your favourite americano?"

I was stunned by his question. But nonetheless, I still smiled and nodded as I sipped the americano.

I laughed because I thought of Jong Kook hearing what Chang Joo said.

Few years back, when Jong Kook was waiting for me along the Han river with two cups of americano kept in his jacket during filming, he said this: I can get cold, but the americano cannot get cold." 

After watching that particular episode after it aired, I was particularly touched...

We finished the drink while sitting on the bench. 

"Ji Hyo ah, are you willing to be my girlfriend now?" Chang Joo questioned. His face shows uncertainty about what I texted him.

"Neh, oppa. I am willing. I know the things you have done for me. Pretending to be my boyfriend just for me even if you like me, prepared tons of stuff just for me... I'm very touched. Will you continue to stay by my side?" I replied, while looking at Chang Joo. 

Chang Joo looked at me and he smiled in joy. "Neh, of course, Ji Hyo ya. So let's go for our first date then." He suggested to bring me to other places. 

I agreed to his suggestion. Soon we were on our way. It was a rather long drive... 

"Oppa, where are you bringing me?" I questioned out of curiosity. 

"It's a surprise. You will know later..." Chang Joo answered. 

I nodded. Where is Chang Joo going to bring me to? We were on the expressway and I have no idea which province he would stop at.

Then, a phone call came. Chang Joo picked up the call with his earpiece. 

I watched him conversing with his secretary... 

"Secretary Jang, all preparations are ready? I'm on my way there. Reaching in half an hour..." 

He ended the call and pressed on the acceleration pedal. The car sped...

Around half an hour later, we still haven't reached our destination. 

However, Chang Joo stopped his car along the street. 

"Ji Hyo ya, I need to get something from the convenience store here." He glanced at me while informing me. 

"Do you want to follow me?" 

I shook my head.

But I alighted the car and waited for him outside since my legs were numb from the long journey...

I scanned the place we were at currently. The street name...Gyeonggi province...Anyang...

"Oh, here's Anyang, near Jong Kook's house." I talked to myself while I wondered if Jong Kook was home from Pohang already. 

I turned and spotted a little boy walking on the pavement of the street with a dog. 

The boy was cute, and the dog was too. It was a bulldog, my favourite breed of all...

I neared them, as I wanted to pat the bulldog. 

"What's his name?" I questioned the young boy. 

"Dong gun" The boy smiled and answered. 

I smiled and patted the dog, while exclaiming,"Aigoo so cute..."

However, the bulldog pulled on his leash. It wanted to move to somewhere else. While I tried to get out of its way, it suddenly ran away. 

His leash was released. The boy was in great shock. He was running behind to chase his dog. I ran behind them as well to help out the poor boy.
